I just heard on the radio today that the abolition of the “tax privilege for heavy off-road vehicles” was decided. However, I don’t find anything at the government online. Does anyone know what?

hi! because this is my first contribution here, first of all a moin moin to everyone here! I came across this page this evening and had to register here because the forum is really awesome! but jezz times to my question! I want to afford me an 89er camaro in 2 years.. only jezz, it remains a dream or can the reality become!? I would be interested in how much this one swallows so on average, with a standart 5L motor. and one more, you can also use it with I still have a lot to learn and I still have a question, how high is the cheapest insurance for such a camaro!? I’ve already rumstübert here, but find little to this vehicle… I think you can help me there or? 🙂 until then mr.low

Buy 350 or drill 305???
Moin, I want to start with the construction of my Camaro now. Now the question arises if I should rather get a 4bbl. 350 block, or if I can’t just drill my 4bbl. 305 block, on 350. Just don’t know what that costs. The engines are the same, except for the bore. And in order to get to a block like this, you have to invest another few 100 euros. What would that cost about to drill the 305er??? MfG Hawk

Buying cars in Albama, United States
Hello together! Turn to you experienced forum members: go in october for almost a year to USA/Alabama for training and urgently need a car there. Now I have two variants in mind: Variant 1: I order myself a new car (mercedes E320cdi or ml400cdi) in the hope that at the end the car is cheaper than here. Variant 2: I save my money and buy over there prefer a classic traditional and cult American battleship cabri o. to 1: does someone know from you how it is with taxes, discounts, transport back to D by sea freight, customs etc? to 2.: where do you get such cars over there? which types are such really iconic parts? what should I pay attention to when buying? and what should the respective model cost? at the moment I tend more to variant 2. but would be nice if you just send me everything you know about car purchase in usa. thank you so much! konrad

clack and knock!!!!!!!
I need a few other opinions: for a few days now there has been a very clear clacking from the valve cover (driver side) with a cold engine. It actually sounds like you are clapping with a screw key against metal (perhaps not quite so loud, but you can get there..) the clacking is completely uniform and adapts to the running of the engine, so must be in any case what about the technique (so no loose sheet or so) My 472 ́er already had hydro-punch, since I assume that here the rabbit is in the pepper and one of it has a damage. The clacking becomes increasingly quieter with warm mototr and disappears at some point (but sometimes you hear it quietly again). But could it be something else? Note: the valve shaft seals and possibly some piston rings are not so top anymore, since it is acidizing too much oil, could there be any consequential damage to the clapping? possibly. Misignations by cooked candles (have already after seeing some are really damn oily/cooked – but it’s been like this for a long time, are cleaned/exchanged regularly) I’m grateful for every tip. oh yes, without really assuming that it’s interesting to me, but as a precaution: is it somehow audible when the control chain is in the last breaths…?

After replacement refrigerant R12 by R413a at Voyager heat exchanger freezes
After changing the refrigerant from R12 to R413a about 1.5 months ago with my Voyager II, the heat exchanger freezes at high humidity and not so high outdoor temperature. The heat exchanger, which is supposed to bring the cold air to the vehicle interior. First of all, I noticed the following: In the past, condensation water of the air conditioning system dripped continuously under the vehicle. Whenever I stopped and the air conditioning system ran, it dripped under the vehicle. r. For this, a large puddle under the car was often in the garage. As if the drain of the condensation water had been blocked and then all of a sudden everything would come with a big swarm. (I had looked. I could not find a constipation.) Then the following: after a longer journey in the evening hardly any air came into the interior despite the highest blower stage. I suspected already a mistake on the (electrically controlled) air control valves in the fresh air distribution system. The next morning funkti Yesterday (it wasn’t too warm outside, but high humidity) the same thing again: hardly air despite the highest blower stage. And now a look under the vehicle: no draining condensation water. My result: The heat exchanger (for the internal air) cools the passing outside air so strongly that the condensation water freezes on the heat exchanger (therefore no continuous draining). Until so much is frozen that hardly any air can pass ( The air conditioning unit and the internal ventilator were switched off at the highest level, and the large puddle was again under the vehicle. Since my Voyager had almost no refrigerant R12 left, the air conditioning unit only filled R413a. And this now brings such a performance that “my car freezes”. It is certainly also due to the fact that it does not have an automatic air conditioning system, but has only “hand control”.

No tax privilege for large off-road vehicles!
The tax privilege for owners of large edeljeeps and heavy off-road vehicles is pending. The 16 federal states can correct the car tax accordingly after the summer break, according to a government spokesman. A corresponding change of the StVZO is already on the way. Currently in Germany 212000 favored off-road vehicles with an additional weight of 2.8 tons are allowed, it continues. The change in taxation would be more close to the countries. So far, many of the heavy off-road vehicles have been taxed as lorries and not according to the cylinder capacity. Thus, the holders could save up to 80% of the vehicle tax. New 100 Oktan Super v. Shell
Hello people. Has anyone already had experience with the new 100 octan super? I only ask myself about the meaning. If the car manufacturer 91 oct releases it is unnecessary 95 oct. let alone the 100s to refuel. The same applies if I have a specification for 95 oct.. Why should I then refuel the 100s? In all cases the motors are designed for optimal performance for the respective fuel. So, what does it do? That it should be more environmentally friendly because less Schwef I don’t want to deny it here, but more performance…?! Greetings, Mario
