Hello dear community I would urgently need your advice when buying a car. I am interested in a Cadillac SLS EZ: 2001 BJ according to FIN 1999 The vehicle is completely check-booked Has received last year on the rear axle new dampers from the states installed. The front wheel bearings were changed due to error indicator. The vehicle has now currently 136000 km on the clock. According to the owner and also from the shown invoice were seen with the vehicle with 76000 km the cylinder cop After I called the workshop to make sure I was told that only the seals were changed and not the kit for the threads, as the known problem probably did not exist. The owner is about 50 years and said that he used the car only for cruising and did not kick the vehicle either. TΓΌV acceptance was in July without complaints. Purchase price is 4500,- Euro I am not sure now, since the kit because of d it was not installed thread, whether I should dare. Maybe one of you can give me some advice. Would be very grateful to you

Dodge Ram purchase advice
Meal, Since the leasing of my T5 is now slowly coming to an end and I have already been fond of a RAM for a long time I still have some questions that you can answer for sure here. It should become a RAM 1500 Sport MY 2018 as Quad Cab,Crew Cab would probably even like me better but then I would have to take Longbed (it is too long for me) to be able to drive the then to some extent safely as a truck (bin operator of a free car workshop)??? new tax classification, which is now measured according to CO2 emissions?? Thanks in advance Holger

Ami Oldtimer cheap offer – pay attention to what?
Hello, Actually I already have an oldtimer (Mercedes), but as it is, one looks here and there, what the market offers so… I found in the net a (m.M.n.) very cheap Ami-Oldtimer (EZ before 1970) with V8. On the few pictures it looks good and it stands here in Germany. The description says only that the engine runs and the transmission switches and that in correct German (which already calms down). I do not want to share the advertisement itself or the exact vehicle type. until I get a viewing date or decide to leave my fingers off it – there are certainly others on the lookout. (: I look again and again for Ami-Oldtimers, but the whole thing comes very spontaneously. I have already read into the purchase advice of the respective vehicle and will continue to research there. But in the area Ami I am an absolute newcomer.I have often heard that there is much more to be paid attention to with the Americans (especially with imports) I would now like to find out whether the car has all the papers (has an import at all vehicle registration and letter?) and whether it is an import. If it is an import, I would like to ask if: – car is customs duty – car has been upgraded to DE standards – car is already registered in DE / was also I want to know if the car is in original condition or what has been changed. What is the difference between the car and the car? do you think that sounds so good? Otherwise I would like to check the VIN for accident damage and make sure that the car is not stolen – how do I do that the easiest way?Do you have further clues for me, which I have to pay attention to in order not to get knocked over? – ami-specific things that strongly affect the vehicle value? – legal problems that should be clarified? – things that endanger the registration? – more? Since the car makes a solid impression and I am sceptical about the fact that I have to pay attention to the rust and condition of the vehicle. I am also aware that vintage car parts are not quite cheap, I know thanks to the Mercedes. I am looking forward to your help!

Experience Summit Racing direct order in USA
Hello together, due to very positive experiences, I would like to give short feedback on my larger order at Summit Racing….possibly helpful for one or the other !! My order included about 40 parts and a value of ca. 700β¬ incl. shipping Due to Corona (probably) some parts were not available, the advantage at Summit is that the parts will be shipped only when the order is complete.. With me the order was reserved for about 6 months. t , until all parts were complete. You also get regular updates regarding delivery dates / availability of the individual parts etc. Also the shipping costs compared to all other large dealers were by far the most favorable !!!! Final it was also for me cheaper via air freight the parts to fly in. If I had commissioned a company in USA regarding container shipping , I would have had to pay in the Ami – country VAT , thus in the end some more expensive than air freight (due to the irektem export , no VAT applies). Summit itself, however, does not offer container shipping… The only problem I had here in Germany. In total there were 2 large pallets , at pick-up at the airport in Stuttgart I had to find out the 1x pallet completely missing and somewhere in the NIrvana. However, according to an alert the pallet was found and all parts thus completely !!! So would have a lot of patience until the parts in the Ami – country are completely available, this is one of the lich cheaper alternative .. than with the well-known dealer in Germany which sells Dodge Charger parts π ….about this price list I still wonder!! At the beginning I had a windshield on the order list due to availability I had to paint these… finally probably also better, the cartons were already very in touch … with my sheet metal parts etc. however uncritical … Then I wish a lot of success with your parts procurement .. luckily it worked well with me π Greetings !!

1987 Cadillac Allante headlights for German approval
Hello dear forum, I have a Cadillac Allante from 1987; but at present still without German approval. For the full acceptance I need in Germany approved headlights, which, to my knowledge, never existed for the Allante / nowhere. I was told that the only possibility for this is a light technical report (four digits). Is there no other alternative? Does any of you have an idea / experience with the Allante in this respect and can I use it I would be very grateful to you for your help! Marc

GM Tech 2 or Clone
Hello guys, I’ve probably made bullshit with my brake system. The ABS block and the brakes have to be ventilated. I’ve heard that GM Tech 2 should be used for many years. I’ve seen it before. it’s balanced with gold. Now I’d have some questions about it. What do you need to do about GM Tech 2? I’ve also heard about a clone. Can it be the same as the original device? Are there any other devices? I got an offer. 99 Euro. For a 2-3 times application too expensive. Thank you in advance for your ideas.

What insurance for a US-oldtimer without garage (Cadillac DeVille 1989)
Hello! What kind of insurance do you have for your US-Oldie? The problem is that I don’t have a garage and your closed area is not always guaranteed. Then he would be standing in a private parking lot in front of a terraced house. I don’t find any insurance that does not require at least one CarPort. Maybe one or the other has a tip? I hate to lose the protection because he was standing in the square in front of the house overnight and stole or a Burned. Greetings Dennis
