My wife had an accident today and she drove backwards from a parking space. She hit a gripping car and that was van der Front near the license plate. Of course, the driver who was still in the car didn’t think it was necessary to horn and draw attention to himself. Anyway, it just happened and you can’t change it. According to my wife, the driver of the smart said that the a small scratch would be.. has made a lot of rums but nothing bad. My wife, however, did not come to the police just like the victim, which would not be necessary to my opinion. What makes me stunned, however, is that the driver of the smart did not imply any damages or anything else. The only thing he asked of my wife is just the name and the address plus the phone number. My first question here could still be there w I doubt that the injured person is simply taking the accident like that. Besides, I know myself personally with the whole legal situation as well as with the incurred costs not so… Personally I don’t want to get unprepared an invoice at an ignorant level ; ( Since I have always told my wife that she should take pictures if something should happen… I also have pictures that testify that it is only a small scratch. For your evaluation regarding m I would like to thank you in advance for the situation.

Greetings! Yesterday: traffic jam on the highway, SaG traffic, slow rides and no longer like 5-10 km/h, if at all. Now comes the interesting part: I’m not sure how to explain the best, it’s really a bit curious. As soon as I drive with the Smart nothing special happens first, then I stay in stop-and-go traffic at this very slow, constant ‘speed’ feel and I hear however, how should I drive it … scratch? n? vibrate at the accelerator pedal, at the same moment the tacho needle snaps from 10 to 20-25 km/h (EXCLUDING that I drive this speed at all) and the ESP lamp intervenes. After 2 seconds, or rather shortly after the scratching (gripping, vibrating) the haunting is over. The whole thing repeats itself at irregular intervals. However, as said only on very slow, constant ride (5-10 km/h). I noticed that this spectacle occurs only during very slow driving. On normal ride this didn’t happen a single time. The smart continues to drive buttery soft and there are no complaints at all. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no explanation for what kind of problem this could be. Hello the rear window of my smart (451) was changed recently (from the smart center), now it no longer fits 100%. Now I was told by the smart center that this could not always fit 100% because all parts of a smart are simply “plugged” and the rear window would also be a different series. Is that so correct? But I have a problem And in case of rain (sometimes) the entire interior is covered without someone with wet clothes or similar in the car It would be nothing now a few times. Today it was supposedly the pollen filter in the car (it’s NOT a convertible), which was removed now. I bought the car only on 25.09.2015 in the Smart Center and it would get there every time. Hello, I have the following problem and I can’t get any further… It was once our Smart. Lief since 268,000 Km like one. However one day on the highway sporadic the engine went off while driving. Only for felt 1 second. After that he ran again completely again. Had no power loss or or or. Nix. Then, a few Km later the same. Engine off… Vehicle in push mode and engine back on and runs… Puh… 15 Km still home… Of course, how should I … 5 km before the garage the engine went out again and did not go on. Starter turns, engine does not start. Smart towed and troubleshooting operated. Error was found quickly. -> Pre-shipment pump without function. Relay? i.o. fuse? i.o. So pump defective. New pump worried… Also defective? Yes, everything was too hasty again. It was not the pump, but the ground line of the pump. That had a cable break. Cable break down eliminated, and also a new fuel filter approved. Pump runs. Relays with a cable bridged until the fuel system is ventilated. BUT…. The engine does not start. Starter turns. Time no cylinder is willing to ignition… Then one cylinder… now and then also two. The engine wobbles at the start process but that was already everything. After max. two start processes I wait for something that the starter does not get too hot. A second car is also connected to the bridge. I don’t want to spend more than 3,000 € for the future 2nd car Are there any diseases that accumulate from 100,000 km on? Hi dear ones, I’m new here but I’ve been reading along for a long time. I’m planning to buy a smart, preferably a convertible. I’ve now found an offer for a convertible EZ 2007 (so no MHD) with just under 70,000km, 71hp and it’s supposed to cost 3,98€. Do you think that you can buy a smart with “so many and so many miles still in good conscience? Have read more often that the Mitsubishi engines can be relatively reliable without MHD? What do you think might be a catch with the offer? Have you already used the search function and read a lot, I would be interested in what you think of the offer also regarding the price etc. (Is with seat heating and power steering and probably also gives guarantee). I think the offer is almost too nice to be true you know? I hope no one is stoned now that I have opened a new topic for this??. Would I very much like a few opinions n smarties experienced by you are happy and grateful for every advice/tip!

Hello dear smart drivers! I drive a 99er petroler and have the following problem: I had forgotten my only key out of sight in the pants and washed in the washing machine. so immediately opened up and short the batteries out and looked if the board is wet. it was not and good. so down to the smart and trying to do it up and down. that was all. then I drove half a hour later about 45 min and turned off the car. ever I could not open it anymore. i.e. it only blinks 9 times and the actuators of the zv no longer go. I was able to get into the vehicle via the case room. it can no longer be started and the X of the immobilizer we displayed in the display. i have already found something similar about the topic. the problem seems to be the key. is it enough to learn a new key in the smart center? if it has shot the zv or the actuators I can simply change the one or have to encode it or to control it. machine fit? thanks for your help! ciao
