Hello, since December last year I am (actually) a happy smart owner. Now comes the fat BUT: Actually since the beginning the Smart (used car, 40,000 km down, diesel) starts hard. However, he always jumped. For a month now it is the case that he runs out (if he starts) almost always directly again. In addition, the following problem has now come to mind: If I get the car, let’s go. The engine control light looks up and doesn’t go off again so quickly. That took more than 15 minutes. In time, the engine is then on, however, no gas. In addition, it should be mentioned: Sometimes it jumps directly on, sometimes it drains directly again, sometimes it jumps on and then the engine control light flashes up and thus no gas comes on. This is all so and so on. So relatively unreliable and unpredictable… For a week now my car has been standing at a Smart Werkst att and they still can’t say 100% where the error lies. They suspect either the controller(s) (I think they mean the alternator controller) or the turbo. Does any of you have similar problems or a guess what it might be? I’m really in despair so slowly… especially since this problem can’t be found in past forums I would be grateful for any post!!!

The little one is a 450 CDI and I filled the brim full with the good super. Unfortunately I did not notice the mistake, but drove off. Hi, I recently got a Smart 451 and I get annoyed when you’re not strapped on. And the seller in the SC said that you couldn’t just turn it off because it’s still somehow related to the airbaig!? So with my previous cars I could just pull the summer off the e-platine and it was quiet. Is that possible with the Smart somehow? Thanks for your answers

Evening, for a few days my MKL has had it read out today (see picture below) and a bug code came out P0141, supposedly the lambda probe should not heat or warm up if I have understood this correctly. Which lambda probe is it? Since there are more! And which brand can you recommend me ? NGK Bosch etc? Immediately all with change or only the defects ? Ps: Have had the error code deleted, though nothing lights up until now but I think that will soon Start to shine again Thank you in advance !

Hello, my mother drives a Smart Fortwo cabrio Bj2001 54Ps 599cm3 Unfortunately, after 2-3days of service life, the car pulls the battery empty, so you can no longer start the car. If the car is moved daily, it always starts. (Speaking in my opinion for a working alternator) The alternator was changed in April 2016, the battery is also relatively new. Hello, I would like to buy a new Smart soon. I have a budget of 4000 Euro available. However, I am unsure how many km a new Smart may have run at the price. I would like to have a Smart starting from the BJ 2008. I drive to work every day 25km back and forth, so that I come to about 15,000km a year. I would be very pleased about your opinions.
