Hello, since we got “zuwachs” ..(four-wheeled) 😉 and I would have a little more performance at the Fortwo, I would be glad if you could call me tuners who understand something about your craft. I appeal here a little to the people in the forum who also use the Smart as a second car and maybe had a positive experience with a tuner in your first car. I had had my T4 cut perfectly by Wendlandt, but they don’t offer that for the Smart, or are too far away. Thank you in advance! Marc

Hello, I hope someone can help me here. My Smart 451 EZ 12/2011, ~40tKm, 61hp mhd squeaks or chirps since recently. The noise changes with the speed and (in my impression) also with the load. I could not locate it 100% yet, but I am quite sure that it comes from the rear right, so from the engine. I looked under the car and took photos of the two belts, which can be seen without disassembly of parts (unfortunately I have no ramp or pit to be able to look at the thing better). I noticed that the pulley that goes up doesn’t seem to sit right (easy overstanding outwards I can feel) and is also slightly frayed on the outside. Can someone here make a statement from the pictures, whether something is not ok and thus the cause for the noise can be? I don’t have the car yet very long and also guarantee, however, the dealer is a little further away. In this respect I would like to help myself or know a good way to do it in the room?

Smart 451 MHD Hello forum and a relaxed 1st of May. Yesterday someone got up to the Smart and tomorrow, of course, we go to the workshop to see what really happened. But I would like to hear your opinions before, if there really can be something. At first glance, the bumper is slightly dipped and there is nothing to see. Is it enough to look at this from below on stage, or does it have to be disassembled as in this post?

Picked up our new Smart Passion with built-in Navi on Friday. When I set up, I found out that the map material of TeleAtlas in the version was from 2009. When asked about Smart, I was informed that this was actually the latest version and that an update could be expected at the earliest at the end of 2011. New car, new Navi, old software ?? Oh yes, if there is an update, then this should be played up as part of the service work and probably also has to be paid for. Maybe someone has already had similar experiences?

Hello together, drive a Smart Cabrio from 2002 for a few weeks. Unfortunately, it is very hard when it is cold and the switching operations are anything but soft. As soon as the engine is warm it turns on buttery soft and the hopping is history. I just had to renew the corroded cable from the tap sensor. Did the engine error light on until then.
