I’m starting to despair: My passat 1.8 9o ps 4 Zyl. Engine code: JN Year of construction ’86 with a KE-Jetronic jerks (doesn’t run round and the engine wobbles because of it ; in idle run still “countable”, if one “steps” it then becomes a quick rat and it pulls badly.(Ignition?) The problem only occurs when it is cold. But the strange thing is that even if one drives 20 km on the highway, the problem doesn’t go away, but only when one drives it. (that’s just enough) and then leaves him standing for a while. (waking contact? Expansion/pulling of something?) Then he runs perfectly, just as if he is driven several times a day. – So much too bad to “smash” him! The spark plugs are worn out -(complete combustion) I checked: – Oil change – Coolant temp. encoder – Additional air valve – Cold start valve – Lambda probe would have to be ok, since he recently passed the ASU (is that proof?!?) but if the engine is warm, it is still running well. If the engine is cold, you don’t feel any change. -Distributor visual inspection,so far ok -ventilated cover seal new, cylinder head seal also ok -low pressure box at the distributor Have the following suspected: Lamda probe (only the one with the ASU is strange) spark plugs (but less believe that there is the Probl.) fuel filter (maybe that the fuel gets warm somehow and solves something on the filter?) Hello, I had bought 4 summer tyres brand Bridgestone 205/45 R16 in the spring of this year, on the Internet at www.reifen-direkt.de . The tyres were very cheap compared to the dealer, (saving about 200.-€) and the delivery came quickly. Only, now I put winter tyres on it and determined that the rear summer tyres had completely expired. The front ones were still OK however. The tyres should have run about 13000km. My car is a front-wheeler, so must the front were worn out more strongly. Since the rear but very evenly had expired, I exclude wrong track/turt/tire pressure. It can’t be too “wild” way of driving either. I therefore exclude from inferior quality of the tires. Can this be, someone has had similar experiences with it, is there another explanation for this? Hiho, I’m interested in the Bora! The V5 and the 1.8T are quite interesting as motorization! The insurance costs for me exactly the same for both variants! With the tax the difference should not be so high! Or? I’m not a “heizer”, rather for a pleasant slide and sometimes a brisk highway ride! I prefer to drive with the conscience: If you need the power it is there! From the sound should be the V5 first choice, I think! so on 100Km? Thanks for your help already in advance! 🙂

When I went to school this morning, I was stopped by the police. They wanted to impose a fine on me, because my music was “too loud”. Their closed disks would have “weaked” while driving by (my were also closed). That is allegedly forbidden?!? Is that true? May I not make as loud as I like it? And then they said that my reflectors were too small. The one where you have to install when you have black rear lights. Is there a standard? 2cm wide and 1cm high? Are they really too small to be able to impose a fine on me? Does someone know? Because they said that the next time they catch me with loud music and the current reflectors there would be a fat fine?!? Is that so??? MfG golfgtspezial

hello, I’ve got a new radio, now I’m so far that the old alpha is out and the new one could be installed, but I probably still need a kind adapter. problem one: seems like 12V+ and 12V are switched over the ignition (though still the smallest problem I would get) problem two: the antenna socket on the VW radio is about half cm out, with the new one it is about 1-2cm in the housing, therefore the plug of VW no longer fits (is only for the new one you would need something longer that fits into this hole) additionally, on the new radio is a pin on the ISO plug as “antenna output” or so labeled, by default there is no occupancy on it, but what is the good then? Problem three: the connections on the new radio are on the other side of the radio, therefore the cables are not sufficiently long (can the radio only connect to the wrong side) where can I get a suitable adapter (possibly of course for no money or at least very little) how do I know which one fits for my radio, there are a lot of different or? do this for the first time, so don’t know me yet… oh yes some more infos: vehicle: Polo6N Original Radio: VW Alpha new radio: DNT – MP3 R-1000 thanks for every help Mfg centeraudio

The new Golf 5 does not find as many buyers as originally hoped. Volkswagen estimates for this year with about 530,000 units sold. Originally the goal had been at 600,000. Were the plans only too optimistic or does it have other reasons ?
