  • VR6 o.E. – who can afford such a thing?

    Hello. Would you like to know what kind of people these are who can afford a VR6 machine or an R32… I’ve just read from a 21-year-old who has a tuned VR6. I understand that insurance technology has to be insane. But how do you finance it? Parents? Or rather grandparents with 30%? Otherwise, what kind of job do you have to afford? Either a beautiful life OR a car? Just write what you can think of… Gruss Martin

    Hello TDI drivers, as I read in a magazine today, are now all 1.9 pump nozzle TDI 74 KW (100 hp) with 5 gear manual gearbox in the Golf and Bora via the D3 standard now also classified in the pollutant class Euro 4. I asked once if a re-encryption of the existing vehicles is possible. The answer: No ! Does anyone have any idea whether a re-encryption is possible nevertheless and if so under what conditions. The tax savings of approx. 650 DM gives an Anre itz. Perhaps with the necessary modification the diesel consumption will also settle in normal filtered. Runner

  • Golf 3 VR6 vs. E46 3xx Cabrio (a true story without happy ending….)

    Hello guys! I drive a Golf 3 VR6 in original condition (almost, it is 40 mm lower, but already from factory). Actually I was always very happy with the car, but yesterday I am a little offended…… Gester I was on the A4 (Austria) towards Vienna and was for a while with an E46 convertible at the same height. When I was then forced to change into the left lane I was at the rear of the E46. Externally it was an E46 convertible in original condition. (orig. Fel The cabrio had a standard 2 pipe BMW exhaust, so (IMHO) a 320er up….. The cabrio started to speed up and I thought to see how I can keep up…. from 110 km/h to 160 km/h (with me 3rd gear, 5900 u/min) I was still at the same distance behind the E46. from 160/km/h to about 200 km/h (4th gear with me) the convertible started to gain noticeably on the ground. from about 200 km. /h to 230 km/h (5th gear, according to my speedometer with 205/50/15 tyres on 7*15 rims) the convertible had worked out a considerable advantage (min. 3 car lengths). Since my golf is at 230 km/h end, I can’t tell where the convertible has accelerated. However, the fact is that the convertible from 230 km/h was still able to do a lot…. For the sake of fairness I have to say that I was sitting alone in the car, and in the convertible there were 3 people with an open deck. ……….   • Smart 453 H4 lamps

    Hello friends Bin for half a year in possession of a Smart Fortwo 453. Had problems with the sensors in the WR – were not recognized – complete replacement of Smart Workshop – now everything ok. (supposedly a sensor was defective and the whole system goes on malfunction. Luckily everything was free !!! What bothers me mainly are the H4 lamps/brains. Would like to buy other better, but does not know which. Bosch 90+ Night breaker etc. ??? Which are recommended. Or can H7 be used As I see, the passing beam and the driving beam are present with me in a pear. At H7 it is always written by pears driving light and pear passing light. Is there also H7 as a bulb for both lights or must stay with improved H4? I don’t know what is best, just want to have a better light. Someone can help me a lot.

The situation: I drive at a green traffic light into a junction and want to turn left. Since oncoming traffic is I stop in the middle of the intersection, car goes off. Now there is a gap in the oncoming traffic and I go down from the brake. with the Smart does not start like with other vehicles in the second where I walk off the gas, but only with considerable delay. Apparently, a starter is installed here, which has not yet been designed for a start stop automatic. Almost there would have been a collision.

It shouldn’t be on the loudspeakers, but on a missing or incorrectly designed DSP digital sound processor. The things cost something and here SMART seems to have “something bad” saved.
