Hello, I have just seen that a large German coffee roaster offers the Smart for 60 euros per month, but probably only in connection with the insurance for a further 29 euros total 89 euros. Is this offer cheap? Data: Smart for two passion 71 hp mhd, radio 9 and air conditioning, black – silver. 3 years leasing with 30,000 KM. Advance payment 2500 euros. Is there the Smart elsewhere even cheaper? Greetings Frank

Handbrake fixed after 10 minutes ?!!
Hello, now I have the little one only recently and now directly the first joy damper. I drove a few kilometers today. After approx. 200 km a break made, then again in the car and wanted to continue driving but the little one bucks himself up, wants to, but can not drive. So ADAC, which has listened to the whole short, grabs then aim-safe under the car and shakes a little at the Bowden trains of the parking brake and see there, the brake is off again as if nothing was wes He said it was because of the heat of the engine and he already experienced it a few times at SMART ́s who have stood for longer. …. sometimes quite seriously, I am not an expert on cars, but do such things as brake change etc. himself and can help me quite well in matters of cars, but what can lead to the heat of the engine the brakes go tight? Or differently asked, the car should be driven in the future by my wife and I do not want the it remains because of such a problem “little”. What can I do so that it does not happen again? In addition, the SMART when starting on the mountain almost absolutely needs the handbrake to not roll backwards, so the problems should be solved as soon as possible. I just don’t know where to start. Would be very grateful for advice. Mfg DerOnkel2002

155/175 or 175/195 for winter tyres? Cheap aluminium actually winterproof?
Hello, I’ve only been driving a 451 for three months. So I’m still on my way to the first winter with my little one. In summer I use the standard Passion Alus with 155 front and 175 rear. This morning I went looking for winter tyres on aluminium. I wanted to do this exceptionally in time. I noticed that there is almost no difference between the Kombi 155/175 and the Kombi 175/195. However, I live in an area in which regularly snows it in winter (exceptions confirm the rule). Besides, I can’t use another vehicle in case of snowfall. That’s why I’m interested in whether the wider tyres on snow significantly lose traction. Maybe one of you could already compare both combinations. As a tire I wanted to use the Continental TS800 or the Pirelli Snow Control. The second question relates to the quality of inexpensive aluminium rims. inter unscathed? I was thinking of one of the following models:http://cgi.ebay.de/…7221158QQcmdZViewItemQptZAuto_Complete wheels?…https://www.reifen.com/…/search.do?…

Buy Smart, Yes or No? PLEASE FOR YOUR MONEY
Hello guys.. I’ve been thinking for a few days if I should buy a used Smart CDI ( from mid 07 ) or not. I find the little one pretty chic. Another purchase motive would be the low diesel consumption and the maintenance. Unfortunately I read a lot of bad things about the Smart and therefore I would like to hear your opinion.. I am a student and in any case depend on my car for the next 3-4 years. Therefore I can’t buy a car with which I am looking for a car. Before I change my 2006 Peugeot 207, which is in TOP condition, I need to be sure that I don’t make a mistake. My Peugeot is really running 1A…and he wouldn’t make any noises before 150,000 to 100%… That the smart doesn’t offer as much comfort as my current car is clear to me. I’m primarily concerned with the fact that I’m cheaper than I am. What do you think? What are your experiences with the Smart? Are you satisfied? Do you recommend the change to me? Are there any models that may be more vulnerable than others (from the engine or year of construction), if with which one am I on the right page? Thanks for the answers…

Buying Tips for ForFour Brabus
Hello I’ve spent 4h reading the already existing posts and am partly quite disappointed, but also convinced that there will probably not be the perfect car. No matter what you do, something is always. I think about buying a fun car. My choice would fall on the Smart ForFour Brabus. The power weight is simply crazy. Unfortunately I leave that there were often problems with the topic of rust, but mostly only with the fortwo smarts. Is there a fo Rfour driver who had problems with it. How is the consumption with this smart so. Insurance I have already looked. Happens in the frame; are approx. 560€ a year. Tax I believe were (still) 108€ a year. Since soon everyone is taxed after CO2, of course also the CO2 value would interest me. There are different data. One time you leave something of 158g/km the other time of up to 174g/km. What is now in the vehicle license? Since I have never had a used car I’m a little careful about that too. More than looking at it and doing a test drive, you can’t do it as a layman either way. You can notice mistakes only day/weeks or even months later. Is there a possibility/test as I can see if the running performance was turned around? Because it’s already noticeable that when a vehicle is 4 years old, and only 20,000 km on the speedometer, it was either not driven, or just put around it. I would be grateful to you for your tips on buying a fun car. Greetings Steve.wi

Is a SMART worth it ? ?
Hello, currently drive an A4 petrol station wagon 125hp and need the average 9-12L. I do not need the car professionally but actually only Just4Fun, city trips, gym, short distances. Live together with my girlfriend and she drives a Polo Diesel station wagon, she is dependent on her car drives daily to work. Now spontaneously came to me the thanks why I so much money for fuel, insurance ,tax out even though we actually do not need a second station wagon, actually need I didn’t even drive a second car. But I want to be mobile with my 23years, and I don’t quite like it. I drove a Lupo diesel in front of the A4 and sold it only because it was just a diesel. Unfortunately, it is like that in Germany, you drive a big car you are who, now my old one comes into play.. I don’t know if I feel comfortable in a small smart or get inferiority complex when at the ampel a 23j in the new A3 seat “grübbel” if i ch in the long run so happy? and no too much money I have on no case!

Purchase decision
Moin Smart Municipality! I’m looking for a smart for my sister and I’m looking for a good offer. The whole thing is from Private: SMART – pure 4.700 EUR First registration : 1/2006 Kilometer level : 59,900km Power : 45 kW / 61 hp The vehicle was at 10tsd km interval at Smart to service. Letzer Service was just under 10tsd km ago and HU and AU also came in spring without defects. My question would now be what to expect from you about repairs at 60tsd km. The tires are still the first of DOT at the end of 2005 – they would have to be new. The car is otherwise accident-free and free of scratches and bumps and very well maintained. Ne air conditioning has it too. Do you think that would be so ok for say 4400 thalers? The car still comes to the inspection of the Dekra before the purchase. Thanks for advice and greetings from Hamburg.

Remedy against swirled dirt at the rear?
Today I drove with my new 453er convertible about 5 km on rainy road. This short ride led to so much dirt on the rear window that you could not look through. Logically, the cover is similarly dirty. (The predecessor, the 451er convertible, did not have this problem). I don’t want to hang any rubber flaps behind the rear wheels now, that certainly looks sour and I don’t even know how to fix them. Do I have to live with it in the future? Or has ever If yes, please info, how…

ForFour, 453 of 2016: roof antenna, replacement for rod *and* socket
Hello together With my wife’s smart, not only the roof antenna rod, but also the base has been damaged some time ago – no spare rod can be screwed in. I covered the hole with adhesive tape (photo). Half a year ago I ordered a replacement in the official Smart workshop, finally arrived – and now the round foot of the new rod does not fit into the rectangular border of the screw mount of the new socket, obviously false base The workshop discusses with the manufacturer. As I fear from experience that further months may pass: Is there perhaps a suitable, compatible solution from the accessory market, *including* socket? Then I could have it installed at a normal car radio store (roof sky removed and so…). Otherwise I call at scrap dealers in the area, maybe they have slaughtered such a part times and in stock. Thank you for your advice Tino

Error code P2243 / P2244 – Lambda before cat, but voltage is measured
Hello, with my Smart 453 with 70ps. the engine warning light is displayed. I read this out, and then comes the error P2243 (at AutoDoctor) and P2244 at CarScanner. Both should however indicate a fault of the Lambda probe in front of the cat. If I look at the voltages of the two probes: Lambda 1 and Lambda 2 is then, Lambda 1 is constant at 1.28V and Lambda 2 without gas also at 1.28V but I give gas then it goes down and then up again. If I really miss it Then the probe before the cat should control the whole mixture, for that the voltage must then vary. And the probe after the cat should remain constant. If the after the cat fluctuates this should be a sign of a problem with the cat. So now I see the Lambda 2 regulated depending on the gas and Lambda 1 is constant. Is the Lambda 2 the probe before the cat? From the Logic I would have thought that the Lambda 1. Does someone know that? and if Lambda 2 is in front of the cat, and this now regulates, what exactly can the error be? If I delete the error it will come back even after more or less short time. Thanks already
