  • 451er cdi schicken lassen! Recommended??

Since we have been allowed to call a Smart our own since yesterday, we are somewhat concerned about whether we might want to have it chipped. The car is mainly moved by my mother (had already written a Fred a few days ago), but since I will also use it now and again and someone else, just this consideration. Now my real question. Is the 451er 45Ps cdi suitable for a chiptuning?? We are actually also satisfied with the performance, clear he is not a rocket but in the city he is a really good, small flicker and is also fun (especially in the current weather), but a little more it may be. Of course the engine should also perform its service in the long term after the chipping, no desire for a motor damage after 10tkm. If the engine is now suitable for a chip tuning, would the 2nd question be, until how much horsepower could one go, that the engine still remains durable? I thought about 60-65Ps, Is that possible? I mean with 65Ps would certainly push forward properly with the weight! With such a car you can notice almost every multi-Ps. Do you know good manufacturers that offer a serious tuning? Provided it is really worth it. Thank you! Here is another picture of the small one:

  • Reliability of a ForFour??? Petrol or diesel?

Hello, wanted to ask the following question, I wanted to buy a Smart ForFour to start a trip to Europe. That’s why I need an extremely reliable car. I wanted to ask Deshlab how reliable the Smart Forfour is. Which is more reliable? Petrol or diesel? I have heard that the timing belt has to be changed at 70,000 km, which costs more than 1000 EUR. Is that true? Which bigger things are still available at a Smart Forfour? Because I want a Smart Forfour. ufen, who has about 60-70,000 km. Would be happy about your experiences. Thank you Greetings

  • Buying a Smart ForTwo

Hello, I have to buy a used Smart (type 450 MoPf) as a third car. It is a Smart ForTwo Passion with 61hp. The Tridion safety cell is painted in black and the body panels are Star Blue. The Smart is EZ 08/2004 and has about 71,000km down. I would call the condition normal for the year of construction and the KM stand. To the vehicle there are next to the summer tires on original. Smart Alus “Styleline”, still a year old winter tire on Smart steel rims there my question is now whether you can give me some tips on what to pay attention to when buying and how much I can “pay” for the vehicle. Thanks for your help

  • Is the smart long-distance suitable?

Hello! I have to get a Smart Cdi because of the fuel costs. I actually only know two driving areas: Either the pure city of Berlin in ultra-short-distance traffic or highway/road stages of 300-1000 km at a time. How does that make the Smart? It doesn’t matter to me speed but the comfort. So how are the seats of the Smart and the driving characteristics on the train? Because the Twingo with which I am currently on the road becomes quite restless on the highway and z appelig, my former Audi A4 was at 120-150 absolutely quiet one has arrived completely relaxed. How much diesel does the Smart Cdi approve at about 120-140? Because 3.5l consumption would be a dream… Thank you for the answers!!! Matthias

  • Smart 4/2 only which tips you need

smart 4/2 only which,Used tips Hello, looking for a city hopper with air conditioning for my wife….currently it doesn’t surprise you. At the moment she drives a very nice Rover cabrio 216i (even without air conditioning) in summer and a Mazda 323Automatic in winter. Since only 3x the week of inner-city short distance traffic of 5 km each comes back and 5km and a little shopping use the mileage per anno with 5000km is quite low. For everything else can then one of the cars in my Si The rover and the Mazda would then be eliminated… which models are recommended and what needs to be taken care of….because of the low use (5000km per anno) I usually don’t shy away from high km…but read with the smart that already the premature KO threatens here…. achso is important woman absolutely wants servo…is this necessary with the Smart…?? Greetings Andy

  • Is the smart a disposable product?

Estimated smart drivers With the high fuel prices, I am also thinking about whether I should switch to a more economical car. My American already consumes a lot. If I look at Americans at Autoscout, then most have 150’000, some 200’000 and other 300’000 kilometers on the hump. Quite different with the SMARTs! There are hardly any of the more than 120’000 made! Is the SMART a throwaway product that you throw away with 100’000km?

  • Search used smart or similar

Hi, I’m going to be 18 soon and the driver’s license will be ready soon. Of course, the first car has to be a used one. In addition, it should be cheap from the cost, since I’m not quite finished with the school and after that only limited means have at my disposal. My parents will help me, but I can’t overdo it. So what I’m looking for is a used, but not too old car (perhaps 2-4 years). I think it’s a Smar. And if it becomes a smart, what should I look for? What has changed between the years of construction? Which different variants are available to choose from? Which is the cheapest one? Which price do I have to count on? These are the questions I ask myself. If you have any other tips on the topic always with it! Thank you in advance! from…
