Motor is slightly jerking when the climate is up!?
Tach too… I noticed today that my smart is a bit jerking when the climate is on, it is quite easy to determine when accelerating, it falls most in the partial load range at well 2500-3500 tours, when you roll on the country road at 70 or 100 kmh. If I then brake down to stop, is that also so, although I have taken the foot off the gas?! Do I turn off the climate, is it!? If I make the climate again, I have to rest for about 1-2 km, then it comes up again. It is also not a strong ruckeln, but rather a light pulsation, as if the climate takes away some gas for a short time?! Let’s say for about 10 sec. 60% gas then short for 1sec. 50% gas and then again for 10 sec. 60%… and that keeps on being so annoying… But it’s got nn ́05 Smart 700ccm with 61PS It’s pretty hot with us, the display was good at 30 degrees… I hope you can’t give me a break.

It can’t get colder anymore…
my “little” had to fight this morning at indicated minus 19 degrees but really The starter turned really hard and when the engine then jumped it didn’t have the usual “high” speed but lay clearly below… The switching processes were almost like with a starter and on the first 1-2 km the clutch was right at the grind before it packed… clatters and pins as bad as never… AND of the heating power of the small ball we don’t need to talk about anyway I think if a few more degrees of minus come then it’s end with Smart driving…How did you guys feel this early today? All-time good and smart driving

Smart starts now and then no more….
Moin, have a problem with my Smart Fortwo. If the engine is completely cold it starts well when it is warm too, but if it is only lukewarm it does not start and I have to wait until it is completely cold. Battery, ignition cables and spark plugs have been renewed. Can someone please help me further…

1st or 2nd hand
Hello. I registered my Smart EZ 07/2008 on my father as a second car for technical reasons. Since 09/11 I registered the car as a holder. So the car had practically only one driver and only one “real” owner. But in the letter are of course 2 entries: Father and I. What should I specify when selling: One or two previous owners?

Remote radio control
Hi together, yesterday evening in a public underground garage with low ceilings suddenly the radio lock no longer worked. Also the try with the 2nd key, which we had with us by chance, did not bring anything, the part was dead. So back home and bring other car before the immobilizer turns on…but see there…at home and since then no problems, it works like it should… What could that have been? Can it be that in the underground garage something disturbs the radio station or receiver…???

Aisle does not go in when engine is on
Hello dear Smart community, I have a problem again with my Smart fortwo 451, Bj 2008, 71PS, Pulse, almost 50,000km. Since last week I have opened the problem that I can no longer switch to “R” or “1”, but only when the engine is running. If the engine is off I can switch off without any problems and the gears go in. Since I may not be able to explain this so well I did a video and uploaded it to Youtube. Since my Smart will come to the inspection next week anyway, I wanted to have it done immediately, you have an idea what that could be. From the other topics that exist I can only conclude that it is not the brake switch, otherwise it would also not work with motor out. Achja in cold condition has always worked up to now, there were problems only when parking, but as already said, not always but sporadically. Thanks already for your answers. Dear greeting and here the link to the video:http://youtu.be/LKux994_0

Smart Forfour 1.5 cdi Diesel purchase advice
Hello guys, I’ve already opened up other topics, because it’s about buying a (new) used one. Who has the experience with the 1.5 diesel? Have I picked out a vehicle like this. It has 37,000 kilometers and is built in 2004 and costs 9400 €. Do you think that the car is also worth its HOHEN price? Are these small smart motors and gears denna such reliable? How expensive are workshop repairs there? If you can say more about it, then just write it. I want to know everything about the vehicle. Greeting Blackdriver

Tailgate unlocking Smart 451
Hello, I have a question and I have a Smart 451 year 12/07. And now I want to know if he doesn’t have a button for the rear flap unlocking, or if I’m too stupid and don’t see it. Thank you very much in advance.

Smart – 1.4 – 225 hp
Hello together! After I was also infected by the “Diablo” virus, I started 4 weeks ago with a conversion. The basis is the current 2009 model…. Kawasaki ZZR 1400 engine with 1352 ccm is installed. To make it more fun, it has 32 additional hp, i.e. altogether 225 hp at 10.800 rpm. I will report regularly weekly in the forum about the progress. Location of the vehicle and the conversion action is Berlin. Here in Berlin it will preferably also be moved. But probably only with red mark… well, better than not to be driven…. until next week….
