The following problem: If I pass through the gas pedal fully (kickdown) immediately the yellow ESP indicator light is on before the car has switched on ruter (reproducible). It then shines through permanently. It doesn’t matter whether I give full throttle out of the drive or out of the stand. If I stop at the gas, the speed and/or the engine power seems to be limited (in the third gear it reaches 80-90km/h) and it is not switched into the next gear. If you drive “normal” (lamp), it drives as usual. When I turn off the car, the lamp only goes out (reproducible) after the second start process (reproducible). ABS works, even if the warning light is lit (tested) ESP I have not yet tried. By the way, engine control light remains out. Someone has an idea what that can be again? To the car: BJ2007, no MHD, 72hp, 53tkm run.

Hello I’m new here and have a question. I drive a Smart fourtwo bj 2012 ,84 Ps, km stood 96000. I drive my little one now 4 years. I’m super satisfied, mostly I drive in city traffic, the longest thing I’ve driven once a total of 200km highway to/back. He pulled super !! Now I would like to drive 1 week to my dad to Brandenburg and this would be from Duisburg, that would be about 500 km.I would like to take my dog with me, it fits in the trunk is only knee-high.Here in the city she rides often with me. I would then stow my bag in the front of the footroom or the passenger seat.Now my question can I trust the smart to take such a track?I would then also take a good 2 times break and drive only 100/110 kmh.

Hi, bj.2013 MHD 52kw 45000km brake pedal gives way when pedaling. No brake fluid loss. On the lifting platform noticed that the front wheels are fixed when pedaling and you can still turn both rear wheels by hand. Does anyone know what that can be? Possibly main brake cylinder? Hello guys, I’m new here in the forum and I have a problem. At the end of December I bought a smart 450 cdi, just under 100000 km, and immediately had an oil change at Mr. Wash. It was all sucked off and then filled in with my request only 2.7 l, because I read in various forums that the oil measuring rod should lie at about 1/2 or 3/4. Then I drove out and controlled the oil directly: everything great. But today, after just over 1000 km, I checked the oil again. So first the engine warmed up, engine out, waiting about 5-10 min, oil measuring rod out, oil wipe out again, oil measuring rod back in and then out again and control. I noticed that always some oil on the measuring rod (on the metal, so not the yellow part front). If I shot out the measuring tab, wipe off, stick in it and get out right out of it, maybe the oil level is quite perfect, but over maximum oiled (see pictures). However, I did not have a few seconds left the oil rod in front of it.

Hello Is there an extra fuse for the tailgate of the convertible?? The switch does not turn on power anywhere. I searched for it in the manual but unfortunately found nothing. Manual isr however also from my City Coupe. Oh yes Built. 2001

Hello one knows a tip how I can check what is actually defined? The following happened and I did: Fzg was warm driving in one day with approx.25* until then no problems exist. Fzg switched off about 15min restarted Airbag control light no longer goes off. Watched on 5 days, account lights constantly. Error read out, message “Zündpill resists too high driver side”. How can I check whether the airbag or the wivel spring or,or is defective, without which the airbag explodes? Best thanks already in advance, and smart greetings

Hello I wanted to change my radio in the smart, it has never changed a car radio and I am a bit overwhelmed. There was zb a wire harness which I marked red loose in the car so not connected to the radio for what is it ?? I marked the wire harness and need for the new I think a 20 pin adapter or ? For the green and blue wire harness ? For the antenna cable I also bought an adapter, hope it is the right one. But now I did not think about the yellow marked cable which has a blue plug, what has it got on it with it and how do I get the new radio? Or is it not important? Later also wanted to put a back camera on it which was important if it is. Hello all, My Smart 0.8 CDi with series 45 hp was with the tuner. Around 70hp and Vmax suspension were planned. Problem: after the optimization the Vmax suspension is out, but the acceleration or the engine power has not changed noticeably what. Hand-measured corresponds to the acceleration of the series specification. It runs on the track real 149 km/h, which can probably only be explained by the Vmax suspension. Charging pressure is after the tuning at 1.2 bar, so as it should be. Now the question is, why doesn’t it have more power? The tuner can’t explain it, the software has already been played up in many cars exactly as well and the extra power should be noticeable. Have their ideas that I can look for? Turbo seems to be on. As the charging pressure is measured of 1.2 bar, I assume that everything is dense.

I am looking for a Roadster or Coupé 451 for my son. what advantages and disadvantages do both cars have compared to each other? Are there things to consider on 451? How long does such a 700 ccm engine last? What equipment should he have? 61 or 84 Ps? Thanks for Input Dsu
