Hello guys I drive a Smart 451 MHD 70500 km on it I don’t know if it’s cold season but when I turn on my engine always comes a squeaking after 10 minutes stops that is normal ??

Hello Together, my Smart unfortunately has a problem. When it rains, it no longer switches. He stops in the third gear, and when I run a traffic light, the engine goes off. The whole thing announces itself, by shortly before the gears are switched up and down. If I then wait a bit (until it is a bit dried under the vehicle??), it can be switched again. With dry road everything is in best order. After some research I have installed a new switching actuator. The problem then actually disappeared for about 3 weeks and I thought about it in safety:-). But far missing, it is there again. Of course, the new switching actuator is now also defective, but I don’t think that’s quite likely. Before I changed the actuator, I thought at first of all to the transmission cable tree, I did not change it yet and also did not measure it. Would you like to stand next (date in SC on January 03). The coupling was also exchanged a few months ago, therefore I don’t suspect that there is a small defect!

My smartie (forfour 1.1, 75 hp, 68tkm) is worried for the first time. It has already happened twice that he hardly reacts to gas commands after starting and only comes very hesitantly on about 2000 tours when I am idle – when I go through fully. Driving – but with restrictions. After turning off two times – then everything goes normal again. Control light burns for two days, then goes out. Hello together, lately I have used public transport and after about 2 months of service I wanted to start the Smart again. However, there was only click noise when starting. I assumed that the battery is all and replaced it with a new one. After that you hear the typical noise when starting the engine again, but still it doesn’t start. I am layman and don’t know me. I had a 5l canister from France purchased cheaply, but Mobil 1 5W40, also for Turbo Diesel. Can you compare the two oils with each other, which is better, which is worse for the flicker.
