Hello guys, I bought a Smart 451 Built 04/2014 Special model SharpRed. I would like to put a Brabus exhaust on it and wanted to know if the Brabus exhaust that was on a 2011 model fits my 2014 model without any problems? Both gasolineers understand. For your help I would be very grateful..

SMART Center and young@smart guarantee a disaster I bought a SMART ED at the end of 2017 with “jung@smart guarantee” The climate didn’t work from the beginning. Wasn’t that important in winter. The selling smart center in Bremen said I should have this done here in Leverkusen. I did now and have to pay the cost of 400,-€ myself! The repair we did not cover by the guarantee. And the smart center in Bremen does not want to take over any warranty.

Hello, lately I am a lot on the road with our Smart 451 BJ2014. Good economical car for the way to work. Only the sound of the speakers is really sad. So I thought of an upgrade. At that time this smart was bought without all the extras. No radio, no electric mirrors, no nothing at all. Loudspeakers were installed in the doors however, therefore a radio was retrofitted. But the speakers seem to be no good at all. Even at low volume levels they start to oversteer strongly….. He also does not have tweeters, there are instead the levers to adjust the mirrors. Question 1: What kind of speaker size can one buy best for the smart? Bits of conversion work is already required I have already seen. Question2: Can one simply remove the adjustment levers for the mirrors and for that the disguise with the cut-out for the tweeters build up? Electric mirrors apparently shouldn’t be so easy for every 451 and also cause considerable costs. From that I have never adjusted the mirrors. Wouldn’t miss that. Greetz Coree

Hello Smart-Forum! I am Micha and actually come from a very different corner of this forum. But I have been reading here quietly for some time. At the beginning of the 2000s, when the roadster came out, I was allowed to test one for a few days and was immediately in love. Now, 20 years later, I would like to buy one as a third-car toy. I have already looked at a few and tested it. However, I noticed with one of the favorites that the gearbox only switches up very late. I could imagine that this is quite annoying in the long run. Evening, I now needed to buy a Smart Fortwo 451 Passion (2007) which I am very happy about! However, I noticed that the fourth gear only from 60km/h “embedded” what really bothers me.. yesterday I called SC and asked for an update and I was told that something like that is not known.. However, I had seen and read on YouTube and forum that there is an update which really did bring.. Hello! Think about buying a SmartFortwo from 2004 for 2750 VB with 121,000, 61 HP and TÜV until 2025. Brakes are new, winter and summer tires included, panoramic roof. Need it for work in radius of about 50km (city and country road) Can you recommend it? 2 previous owners, looks serious. Vg and thanks for Tips

Hello together 🙂 I have here an early W450 who longs to be brought back by me slowly (far too slow) in proper condition. Unfortunately the left “speaker” on the dashboard is in the bucket. It is not a sound system or similar installed, that I would like to tackle next year when the interior is renovated. It only bothers very much that the bit “sound” comes only from the right front mini part 🙂 Question: -> How do I get to such a speaker promptly and cheaply? So the technical part, the “Bobbl” is present, he just doesn’t speak to me 🙂 Thank you 🙂

Hello, since recently we have (again) a Smart Fortwo. This time a 451 from 2012. After the purchase I filled the immediately full. After the shut down of the tank gun, I continued to fuel. So far I have done so with every gear. In any case, then really petrol ran out. I immediately got the seller and showed it to him. The Smart came to the stage, disguise down the path… But nothing was found. In the instructions of the Smart it is said that one should wait after the shut down of the pistol 30sec until one fills up. So it was pushed to wrong tank. In the meantime I had to refuel. There ran out gasoline, although I did not continue to refuel after the shut down. And we are talking about estimated at least 0.5l. That is not normal in my opinion. Is there a known problem? Before I contact the dealer (because warranty) I want to know exactly what I am talking about, especially because the dealer is not around the corner. Thank you in advance for your answers.
