Hello, I would like to buy a smart as a second car in the next time. Come today from the dealer, who unfortunately had already closed. But I know that it will be the smart that stood on the yard. Short information: – BJ 2001 – Climate – Panoramic roof – 55hp – Rims – Equipment Passion – 1 year warranty from the Opel house – Price 5700€ Now a few short questions: 1. How much does the car consume? 2. Close only a normal liability insurance, how much do you pay? 3. ichlich flaws to consider? Thank you in advance!

Finally Smart – offer OK ?
The appearance reminds me of my childhood with the Fliewatüt 🙂 Just like that. Now as a second car finally a smart should come. In the local SmartCenter I was offered the following model : Smart passion petrol / 40 kw Bj 01/01 Color : aqua-vanilla Inside : scodic grey 32,000 km with the usual equipment (of which I don’t know at all how extensive the standard equipment is). piegel / heated LM wheels fog lights and other things like climate etc. Inspection is made and has been complete so far. Approval and desired identification mark incl. costs 5900 € abzgl. 500 € for the old Fiesta Is the price ok? And what should I pay attention to ? Many greetings and see you soon in the first own Smart. Sadler

Smart ForTwo also for larger people?
Hello, would have been interested in a smart as a second car. I’m 1.96Euro big. Is the normal Smart ForTwo suitable for this size. Unfortunately I haven’t driven in anyone yet. For example, I drove Twingo there I had room.

Ingo and the fuel monitor
Now I want to have a small car. In the morning short distance to the shop, so 3 km, during the day country road and sometimes 60 km highway. The choice remains between Polo and Smart Cabrio. Both configured and depending on what you choose between 18000 and 20000 quite equal in the purchase. Smart offer for new cars just a little cheaper, about 2000 euros cheaper offered than the Polo. And since I am almost determined for the Smart Cabrio because of the cheaper offer, I read the The fuel monitor from member Ingo here. 8,8 liters/100km! And it is not the first Smart with him. What drives someone to buy again and again a vehicle that consumes 8.8 liters with this size. ? Shouldn’t be a criticism, should help me with the decision (Polo or Smart Cabrio) Take this and order again and again a Smart ? Says one: Would I rather have bought something else ? Would you rather exchange for another vehicle ( new Polo for example ) ? Or monetized m to this here in the forum and then buys itself because of driving again and again the smart ?

Automatic vs. TipTronic => different switching points
Hy @ALL, dear SMART municipality, my friend bought a SMART FOR TWO 71PS (Automatic) petrol engine last year. Now I noticed that the automatic turns up the engine very far before it switches. When switching from automatic to manual informs/recommends the cockpit indicator rel. early to switch up. (Both with completely identical gas giving!) Between these 2 modes are worlds. Is this normal? Does someone know why? Is the automatic for the motor permanently (especially in winter) rather harmful? Thank you in advance and GOOD DRIVING -)

Engine control lamp
After that they washed my Smart. After that I drove about 1 KM wide. The engine check indicator light went on. The Motort started to jerk. No oil loss and also no cooling water loss. Engine dry from above. Workshop (Mercedes dealer) baffled. Where could the problem lie?

Spring broken
When I bought my Smart in Nov. 2004 used in the SC, after 1,000 km a cracking took place while steering. A check proved that the spring on the front right was broken on the shock absorbers. This damage was repaired from the SC to Kulanz, but the repair took 1 1/2 weeks. I wonder now, what always lasts so long about the repairs.

Smart fortwo
Hello people I am 21 years old and would like to buy a smart for two. I just need it to get to work. It’s about 15km away. Is the Smart Auobahn suitable or is it dangerous? There is also the possibility to drive country road.

Moin Moin… I need your help here.. 5 weeks ago we bought a Smart Cdi Cabrio. Total class of dare. Now we have been to a smart dealer to have an inspection done, which has determined that the ABS wreaths have broken. Where we bought the car he says it’s all OK & he can’t read anything. It trits even if you are very slow below. What do you say??? continue until nothing goes on??? the reperature should cost good 800€ since d he wreaths are mounted on the truss & it will not be individually… For your help I am grateful… Greetings Lars

Smart sales numbers…
Report The increasingly bad sales figures don’t really surprise… Simple quality at exclusive prices… – …any simple car comparison makes the car look bad at the latest in terms of costs. If the car were offered at the price that it is worth, it would probably sell better.
