Hello, I would like to buy a smart one. Year of construction from 2001-2005. Only I know about this car zero. I actually want a petrol engine with heater… because I only have 5 KM to work. What do I have to pay attention to when buying, max. km? Are there frequent problems? I heard/read more often that the engines can’t stand so much… is that correct? Rather a manual gearbox or semi-automatic? Maybe you can also think of some other tips. ank. Greetings

Hello, have a smart city coupe bj:2001 with 70,000km at me the light engine was changed and afterwards I had problems with the switch, I could not insert a gear. I towed it to smart and the thought it is the clutch actuator(the engine started but did not insert a gear, there were three bars on the display.) the actuator was replaced and the jett started the no longer and man can not learn the actuator??? what can be the cause? smart my to me there s possibly the clutch is defective,can it be that the clutch is defective after a light engine replacement? please to rat,bin at the end with the nerves. mfg

CDI Bj.07/01 Hello After I even attached cardboard in front of the cooler and it still remains ice cold, I might next want to isolate the water pipes that go from the back to the front (tip from the heater installer) because at the back directly on the engine the pipe gets very warm and therefore think that the heat is lost on the way forward.Perhaps someone has a photo of below where these pipes run,Or someone can tell me what a strength of insulation is dreary he would have to (diameter of the pipes)I would also like to know the length beforehand, otherwise the whole disguise must first be dismantled. Hallöle, I would need your honest opinion and a few tips. EIn very good colleague of mine, has put himself in the head to buy a Smart (max 10.000euro) ,possibly a convertible. Unfortunately we both really have no idea of Smart at all. I would like to have some good tips regarding -which Bezin model is good -where a Smart is vulnerable -which one has to pay attention to -how long such a Smart (motor) keeps -how expensive the maintenance is -usw etc from you! There you can see pictures of the new Smart fortwo coupe and cabrio. It is particularly clear that the new Smart looks much longer ( 16 cm ) and more adult. …well 4 years Smart & Pulse Convertible have proven that the Smart is a fully-fledged car, with which it can not only live well in the city. The little one has served my wife faithfully and was also several times our holiday car, in which we drove to Switzerland, to his home Alsace and to the Baltic Sea – gladly with open roof, good mood and a lot of time to enjoy the landscape.
