As far as so good, at the beginning mostly driven in the city, except for the unacceptable fuel consumption no problems. Wind noises at the driver’s door in the workshop criticized -> during the test drive no were found… well, I’m probably stupid. Recently I have been in several danger situations (stauende behind Kur) The “ABS” lamp flashes, the car loses its grip, is almost no longer controllable. I was therefore already at the Mercedes dealer: After the test drive the master says it’s all great with my car, free according to the motto I couldn’t drive and it would all be on my all-weather tires (which were delivered by the SC. ) Before that I came home and discovered that the tire was running at one place except on the wire. Hello, I bought a used Smart 453 Fortwo directly from Mercedes in Wuppertal. Since I myself live in Berlin the sale is handled directly online and the car dealership sent me the car documents (letter, note COC, TÜV) via UPS. That was on 13.01., was planned that I will allow my Smart in Berlin and pick up on 18.01.. Since UPS did not deliver in time I decided to pick up the car with transfer license plates and then register correctly, since unfortunately not a I picked up the car on 18.01. and wait until today for the documents. Mercedes has conducted research at UPS on 21.01, until today unsuccessful. The car is ok and I can’t blame Mercedes, they are trying to solve the problem and UPS is still looking for my package. But I have no hope that this is found. Now my questions: Has someone already had similar experience with UPS? Can I assert against UPS usage failure, since I have no hope of using UPS. The package is insured with 510 euros. Who needs to reapply the papers?I haven’t talked to Mercedes about this yet, they still believe it’s good to see the documents. Thank you very much.

Hello dear community, last week something really stupid happened to me, which I’m really sad about.I have the feeling that I don’t get around cheaply When changing my wife’s tires, I raised the car so that the side skirt on the left front axle and the rear axle is totally pressed in.Of course, I made myself smart in the vehicle’s manual before, and also raised where the markings (arrows) were to be seen. Not to overlook the distance of the left side skirt is ruined. I will add a few pictures to you. I know that you can simply mount the side skirt at the older smart from 2010 on and buy a new one. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the newer model from 2015 on (smart 453). What worries me very much. I have thought about letting the whole bulge if possible. Hello together, For a week now I have also been driving a 453 fortwo with Cool&Audio package, i.e. with the simpler standard radio. I have already read before that the radio reception is supposed to be bad, but had probably a wrong idea of how this bad reception really can be judged. I suspected that there might be problems with anyway rather weak stations, and did not think much about it. Now unfortunately I came to the realization that the reception is not Even the strongest stations, which have never had problems on any radio before and are mostly still to be received without an antenna, are constantly at the noise, it becomes louder and quieter during the ride (no, it’s not because of the automatic volume adjustment, which is switched off), and most of the time only mono-reception… The problems seem to occur especially during the ride, The reception was always ok so far. Is there any solution for this problem already? Interesting would be the question whether it is on the radio or on the strange antenna construction under the fender. Does someone use another radio with the standard antenna and can say something about it? Is there a practically feasible and affordable way to install a better antenna?

Hello friends Bin for half a year in possession of a Smart Fortwo 453. Had problems with the sensors in the WR – were not recognized – complete replacement of Smart Workshop – now everything ok. (supposedly a sensor was defective and the whole system goes on malfunction. Luckily everything was free !!! What bothers me mainly are the H4 lamps/brains. Would like to buy other better, but does not know which. Bosch 90+ Night breaker etc. ??? Which are recommended. Or can H7 be used As I see, the passing beam and the driving beam are present with me in a pear. At H7 it is always written by pears driving light and pear passing light. Is there also H7 as a bulb for both lights or must stay with improved H4? I don’t know what is best, just want to have a better light. Someone can help me a lot.
