We think about buying a Smart EQ. Is not decided yet, but I like to play with the configurator. Questions: 1) Does Passion pay for the standard equipment? If I equip both variants with the same extras and take the aluminium rims also with the standard equipment, it is still about 900 € difference. These then flow into the leather steering wheel, dashboard and upholstery, as well as the mirror cap color. It is actually only for the haptic and optics, right? I think this is quite different, but the dealer said that there are hardly any smarts sold in standard equipment. Most of them are passion. Hmm… And isn’t the fabric faucet board difficult to clean too? (vacuum?). If you take Tailor-made, you have a plastic faucet board again, just colored. I think Passion is especially there. The springboard, if you want to have a better equipment, such as Navi, JBL, Tailor, LED taillights and a lot more. That’s not with the standard equipment. But in itself Passion is actually too expensive, isn’t it? 2) Coupe or convertible is also such a question. Discounts are deducted it probably only about 2700 € difference. That’s actually not too much, isn’t it? What’s needed more? 3) When convertible, I find the red roof great, because you use the black roof It’s hard to see that it’s a convertible. Unfortunately, not many colors can be combined with a red roof, actually only white, grey and black, or how do you see it? Favorize now:https://www.smart.com/…/onlinecode.html?cc-onlinecode=MFNP8K9T (series, 28647 €) or:https://www.smart.com/…/onlinecode.html?cc-onlinecode=MOIXLWRS (passion, 29562 €) Morning test drive, I’m curious. After that we decide whether we’ll do it. The idea is also to take the environmental premium with us, so that the loss in the first two years is minimal. How long we keep it is still open. j.

SMART FORTWO 453 90 HP Turbo with 100 octan
I would like to return to the topic of performance and driving behaviour at the 90 hp turbo. We have our Smart now almost three months. Top satisfied, everything goes as it should. I tried Super, Super Plus and just V-Power. I know that there are countless tests and proofs that normal engines with 100 octan can’t do anything, etc. Therefore my report is also purely subjective. The most noticeable change can be noticed right after starting in idle. r the engine trembled a little, that is now completely over. I also feel the sprint behavior as improved, the engine seems to be more aggressive. I can’t say anything about the consumption. I drive the smart rather sporty and on the AB it has to keep its V/max. Then it lies so at 10 – 11 l on 100 km. What about it, the car brings fun.

New Smart Disease!?
Wanted to ask in this way: in our Smart 453 family (me, wife, neighbor) the phenomenon accumulates in the last weeks and months that the tyre pressure control suddenly comes to the floor. Was once again also, especially after tyre change Winter/Summer vice versa, but after reset everything again well (well with tyre service slurled). Last but not more only reset, but really pressure loss. Mostly on all 4 tires, totally different without pattern front/back n and partly significant: in my case about 2 weeks ago, the rear was left instead of 2.5 only 1.6 bar!! No tire / rim damage visible, after pumping up until now everything is good again. Before the front left marked, rest zw 0.2-0.5 bar pressure drop. So really no pattern recognizable, which would then indicate a damage. As said, with the woman and with the neighbor as well!?? My guess: Red pin at the valves, Mercedes and its shareholders must be supported more in these hard Z Do you have similar experiences or do we just have bad luck? Say hello to Tony

Best place for Navi in the cockpit and 12 V socket !
So my wife finds the vehicle (as feared) great and I get my vehicle back – the X1 is sold and with the “little” in the city she feels comfortable – the purchases certainly also have space. I drove yesterday also with it about 50 km – city even highway – and I must confess — it really succeeded. In our simple version we have of course no fixed navigator – I somehow have to attach to the windscreen or has someone a better I I hope that somewhere on the front there is a 12 V socket installed or was that also extra …

Problems with Start Stop and Tank Display
Hello I have had a Smart for Four BR453 for 3 weeks. After I had picked up the car, I had fully fuelled it, since about 200 km could be with an average consumption of about 7 liters/100km. After my calculation about 14 liters should be missing in the tank. But now the tank indicator persistently shows all the beams, so fully. Normal or spins the display, because have no desire that sometime ebbe is despite full display…. Furthermore, since I have the Smart has never the Start Stop I know, before one writes now, idle foot from the clutch, certain parameters must fit etc… Does everything just show me in the instrument cluster always the orange crossed-out symbol. Does anyone have tips?

Swamp between Coupé and Cabrio
Have a “happy problem” – the decision between Coupé and Cabrio. What do you think about differences besides the following points: convertible might be a bit more confusing (smaller rear window), has no rear window wiper, a more sensitive roof compared to the panoramic roof (tree resin, bird puke, wash road), has a less accessible trunk (no foldable glass pane). Is the convertible also louder than the coupé? How “fummely” is the dismantling of the roof bars or Do you mind that the back side windows aren’t retractable?

While driving error message and light turns on, not switchable
Hello all, I have a brand new Smart 453 with Automatic and it is after first impression a nice vehicle. Now I do yesterday the first longer ride on the highway and suddenly comes in the Tachodisplay a fat error message ‘Disruption operating instructions and the light symbol’, the vehicle light goes on, but can no longer be switched off, high-light and light horn no longer go and the touch screen goes on night lighting. So right out, ignition off, 10 seconds g waiting, ignition on, everything back to normal. The whole 3x on 400 km drive. Note the operating instructions says nothing about it. Do you have an Idea? Greetings Crossbow77

Smart Problems – Do you have similar problems ? Ruckle, snare, consumption etc.
Hello guys, got me an annual car with 9,000 KM from Smart about 2 months ago, this one unfortunately makes several problems, now I wanted to ask if these are known ?! It is about the Prime Model with 71 HP. 1. Backward gear sometimes does not go very bad (with nice noise) 2. Parking distance control just goes off, although nothing is in the way (in reverse driving) 3. The roof sky is strangely coloured, as if the glue comes through 4. As soon as the climate runs the part consumes 8-9 liters with normal driving mode and jerks partly when accelerating Can you report similar ? Greetings
