  • Many changes from Volvo to Subaru?!

Hi, with us in the Subaru forum are already 2 former Volvo drivers who want to switch vlt. to Subaru because of bad experiences etc. I have also met many people who have also made this decision. I wanted to ask why many Volvo drivers suddenly change the brand (not only to Subaru but there it is to me personally) because I thought up to now the Volvo is also a very good brand with beautiful models. Greeting Michael (He hopes that now no brand discussion (i) the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the building, the construction of a new building, the construction of a new building, the new building, the building, the building, the building, the new building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the construction and the building, the construction of the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building, the building

  • Offroader initiative comes before the people

…for the time being only in Switzerland.. All XC90 and other CO2 can breathe again Nevertheless, the vote comes here on land before the people! On assumption, various cars would be banned quite simply!!! X5, Q7, lobster but also AMG stars and the Golf R32, as well as all other cars that are clearly above the output limit. Read here: http://www.blick.ch/…/these-models-drohnt-fahrverban 96519 or slightly older but more profoundly: http://www.automobilrevue.ch/artikel_25270.html Gruss Kusi, I guess a 1.6F would have to be installed in his R.

  • Elks!!

Hello moose driver! How well did you have your elk at the reins? – differently asked: who has chased him over a slalom or a sling plate (and hopefully caught him again?) = driving safety training? I think you should do that much more often than just try it once. My last training session is still more than five years back and then I drove a 520er (which is not too bad for me even at 18 attempts is the self-praise, but I bi It’s a shame that they take 180 euros for a basic 1-day training in Ösiland. ADAC members have it better, they start at 54… You should go on the course with every new one and at least every three years so that you don’t forget the respect for the centrifugal and other pulling forces. (I know that Volvo offers its own courses, but still missed it by a few days) How about you??? lg Richard

  • how to create a survey ???

On the homepage of Motor-Talk I read under “Help” that you can also create and start a survey, and it is there (shortened)…: If you create a new topic, you may also see the option to create a survey. This function allows you to ask a question and specify a number of possible answers. etc. I can’t find the option to create a survey. did I get something wrong ? rolo

  • Do you ever do real “walking”?

Hi, just came to me – at the moment Strohwitwer – so after the third beer the idea to put me in the car, and drive around a little bit in the area (yes, I know, it’s already dark – but nevertheless). Since I then thought: “Driving yes, but not with alcohol in the booze”, I decided to postpone the ride, to get another beer out of the fridge, and to ask this question at MT: Do you sometimes just make a walk with E oerm Volvo? Just like that? Because it’s nice? I admit, I do it every now and then, even though I ride 30-50 TKM a year (or stand in traffic jam) – just fling into the comfortable leather chair, a nice CD in, the GearTronic on “D” and off… Very cozy, while looking out the window, friendly waving, etc. How about you?????? • V40 2.0T Turbo noises

Hello, I drive a 98 V40 2.0T Since I have the car, a sound from the turbo (more or less) annoys me, which can be heard especially under load. It is best described with a “rattle” – a mixture of rattlesnake and a metallic sound (it is not a whistling!). Rather a kind of “snapping”, as if the power from the turbo is completely in order. Yesterday evening I dismantled the engine cover and the heat sheet and a little bit gengen It’s incredibly hard to locate. But what I noticed: at the seam (1) between the turbo and the front part of the exhaust is all white. I saved a photo here (or here): http://www.webcheck.de/fotos/images/turbo.jpg Can it be that there (under load) exhaust gas is pressed through and this produces the noise? I couldn’t smell an exhaust gas smell myself, even when my nose was almost on it 🙂 Something else comes to mind. Alternat In the photo you can see where the control bar sits on the “heel”, on the lever even small white tracks (2). I’m not sure (maybe it’s a coincidence) but when I pressed the shaft from the lever with a cloth, the sound has become quieter. If not, what can be considered for such a sound? Do you have ideas or tips? BoisBleu

  • Is that normal?

Hi to everyone, my friend confirmed to me today with the post that he has reserved a car for me at the end of the week. great thing I thought, until I read below, that 150 km are in the “price”, every further km is calculated with 50 cent. is that normal, should I just look at the car the whole weekend? there I drive to the shopping, on Sunday to the church and afternoon to the coffee tooma. for that I do not need a car a whole weekend. I can understand n, that someone running for us wants to have a cabrio and then you point out the 150 km border, but not if you have clearly pointed out that you want to go to the action. hoast that maybe has claims!

  • IAA, criticism of (German) manufacturers

Quotation: The PS-strong and sprit-eating novelties of many German automakers at the IAA are increasingly being criticised: The offer is passing by the consumer needs. Essen. Holger Krawinkel, auto expert at the Federal Association of Consumer Centres, reacts to the new presentations at the IAA automobile exhibition with sharp words. “These new cars are already outdated. Because they do not fit into a time with fuel prices of soon 1,50 euros or even more.” According to Krawinkel in the WAZ conversation, “that German carmakers recognize the signs of the times and that they use the art of their engineers for the construction of economical, inexpensive, clean cars of the lower middle class.” If the industry instead continues to rely on sprite-splitting models, it harms consumers and soon also itself. There is not a lack of demand, but of supply. “If the new cars still consume on average seven liters of 100 kilometers, i The damage to private households in Germany was enormous. The increase in fuel prices in the past year alone cost ten billion euros. He called on the industry to reduce the average consumption of all new cars every year from now on by half a liter. Then the consumption would be 3.5 liters in 2012. Technically, this is feasible. And, in other words, the self-commitment of car manufacturers to reduce the consumption by 2008 to 5.5 lite In the same horn the car expert of the VCD traffic club, Gerd Lottsiepen, pushes. He calculates: Should the consumption of new cars continue to fall as slowly as last year, the German manufacturers would still need 35 years to reach the expected value of an average of 5.5 litres per 100 km for 2008. But with the German manufacturers, the motto apparently continues “PS records instead of fuel saving technology”, criticized Lottsiepen. 100 hp is hardly anything to have at the German new presentation at the IAA. Those looking for lower motorizations must go to the booths of Fiat, Nissan or Toyota. 14.09.2005 By Wilfried Beiersdorf Greeting Martin Who sees only the usual high, German Ross in it, but which actually slowly fades away to the mule…

  • Rumor-kitchen or reality -> Car insurers wave at a drop of alk

Hi all together, I have a comprehensive (Allianz) and assume that if I do not cause a grossly negligent accident (no matter what consequences), it will compensate me for the car and the damage. Now I have heard that the Gothar (I call the name – but clearly refer to the rumor factor!) rejects the damage compensation on the grounds that the driver has drunk a glass of cyclist. OK, supposedly the police had the alk control just above the 0.3Promille, in the K but then clearly below it. Since I don’t connect the car and alcohol (in this sense now) it will not (hopefully) affect me like that. But then I wonder why we have the limit. Then every insurance should point out fat and big … Or is all this just a rumor? Good ride! Torsten – the XC fan (and again a contribution without picture, I let down. oli – I try however (again) 😉
