  • buy scania – and is volvo interested?

It is said that one is interested in scania, what the Swedish share has been enormously influxed and led to an exposure of the trade with the same. at the same time one speculates that volvo could still take over the brand, but I thought that hætte protested both the wallenbergs as well as all the competition surveillanceæmter® (how does that mean again in proper German?) is interesting that volvo as the gr øsste lkw-producers europas is mentioned that they were the one after the purchase of renault, I did not know. a discussion about acceptance comes now very surprising, a consolidation was only recently described as improbable, because the market is just in an all-time high. lieb gruss oli

  • Change in the Ford lead (with impact on Volvo)

Hello, in the current Auto-Zeitung, edition 20, there are the following to read: Change in the leadership of Ford … but in particular Alan Mulally (so the new one is called) but the Ford subsidiary PAG (Premier Automotive Group) is a thorn in the eye. Jaguar has cost the US giant about ten billion dollars since its entry. Mulally immediately slashed the successor of the X-Type and postponed the start of the new S-Type by one year. Volvo is also affected: Whether the S60 gets a successor is of … Ciao, Eric

Hello, the German importer of Volvo VCG will receive a new GF: Thomas Viehweg from 1 November. Lennard Stegland, former GF, will go to Gothenburg. more information here:http://www.manager-magazin.de/koepfe/personalien/0,2828,435740,00.html by the way: Hobbies: Trekking and mountaineering. Can you deduce from the fact that he is connected to nature and has his favourites in the XC series? Will he even revive the LPG BiFuel? Does anyone know why Stegland can “go”? What do you wish for from the new GF in connection with Volvo (concerning the German market as well as model politics, because he will have a say in Volvo S) ? Greetings, Eric, would first get a young blonde Swede in miniskirt as secretary at Volvo as GF

  • of the volvo driver verhæltnis to the cycling traffic participant

research has shown that motorists have more distance to keep cyclists without helmets than to cyclists with helmets, probably because they suspect a “more professional” cyclist. without helmet is the distance bonus 8.5cm, women get 14cm more distance, the least distance to keep buses and trucks, which I can do best.http://www.forskning.no/Articler/2006/september/1158052395.3 (Norwegian)http://www.bath.ac.uk/news/articles/releases/overtaking110906.html te)http://www.drianwalker.com/overtaking/overtakingprobrief.pdf (English, abstract/summary) now the question to you: do you have a conscious relationship to cyclists in street traffic? are they a plague for you? do you prefer to wait behind a biker, than to overtake the minimum distance? and is it possible for you to be overhauled by cyclists? dear gruss oli, on ’97 bergamont fluxus in top condition (should be called: all parts except frames and handlers had to be at least one al to be exchanged… a high on American production quality!)

  • Imagine, tomorrow there will be no more Volvos…

Admittedly – a very playful question. Imagine, tomorrow there will be no more Volvos on this planet. You have the same budget that you spent on the moose. Your (purchase) decision depends on the same criteria as when you bought the Volvo. You must not allow any negative experience to be included in this decision, which you may have already made with (d) a Volvo. If you have the car for a long time, then go either from the situation at that time or from the present time value of the moose (please specify!). Which brand and model will receive your award? Greeting Tom

  • The beginning of the end

Hello, everybody! It’s been known for a long time that Ford has been hitting the cost brake on its luxury brands, but for me such lines are http://www.ftd.de/ub/in/1052558379328.html?nv=se with a certain likelihood of the final end of a self-contained quality image of Volvo. Sorry, but if an American manager of the automotive industry speaks of saving to this extent, that means for me in the case of Volvo: a difficult dilemma stands In my opinion Ford makes the same mistake that GM made at Opel at the time. When do they finally start learning from mistakes…

  • volvo ideabox

Volvo Ideenbox Hello Oli, Jürgen and all the other Volvomanics! My idea: the Volvo Ideenbox. Here you could put in suggestions for improvements, in the hope that important people of volvo might also look in here. They are often petty things that make life easier for you and they also do not always have to push the price to the height. It should not be a ‘nogglebox’ and if you like this idea, you could make it a subforum. I’ll start with the following: Electric seat adjustment – why is the seat not first driven to the rear/bottom position when opening the door to facilitate the access? The stored position is then controlled after plugging in the ignition key. Electric seat heating – why does the heating only have 2 heat levels? If the temperature can be changed over the program, why not also via (rotation) switch? RTI – why can’t you adjust/rotate the display? Play with it! Greetings robo.

  • What’s going on?

Hej together, I almost fell off the stool when I saw the Volvo sales figures for the first two months. So I haven’t experienced such a bad thing in ages: Jan+Feb 2002: 7,305 Jan+Feb 2003: 4,373 This is a decrease of over 40% and therefore Volvo is the manufacturer with the highest percentage loss so far this year. What’s the problem? Bad or outdated cars hardly. In the abruptly strengthened competition? Not really, the E-Class has been around for a year now. Booze – perplexed – pondering.
