With a moose in the car wash…
…..you will always be asked to open the mirrors. Only with the XC D3 I thought, aha SUV alarm, although my BMW GT was at least 10-15 cm wider and I never had to do it there (and still do not know if such a BMW at all like an elk can put the ears.) So after months of waiting on the D6 and extensive reading of the operating instructions in my master washing system quite confidently put the ears on order. With the nevertheless quite manageable D6 then the same game: De I can’t imagine that all Volvo drivers used to have to run around the car and the mirrors had to open before he could turn his ears on electrically. Can’t I say anything about my timeless V 850 20 years ago? What’s the reason? Can’t get water in the ears, do the mirrors break off?

Survey: How satisfied were you with your Volvo in 2011?
The year is slowly coming to an end, it’s time to raise the winter tires again. We hope you’ve come through the year with your mobile kit so far! And to find out if that’s the case, we want to start a small survey again in 2011. As every year, the manufacturers have done a lot to interest us drivers in their products and services and to satisfy their customers. But: How satisfied were you with your car completely subjectively ? Or with the service that every car needs every now and then? So: How was it, your personal car year 2011? Since most manufacturers not only regularly read MOTOR-TALK, but are also in contact with us, we will go to the manufacturers with the survey results, your praise and your criticism in the comments. Therefore, in the comments, write what you liked about Volvo in general and your Volvo in particular in 2011, what is even better and what is more important than that? I was so dazzling!

Euro 6 – Blue environmental badge comes – how to react?
Not quite a year ago I bought a great Volvo V40 CC D3 with almost full equipment. Was one and a half years old and therefore still Euro5. I have to admit that I got to know the discussion about the blue badge for the first time today. That’s why I am all the more shocked because I will not be able to drive to certain urban areas with my vehicle, built at the end of 2013. I assume that this is not just my business. Do I really want to use my vehicle for the next ten years (have decided to use the robust D3 five-cylinder) now again and make a switch to a Euro 6 diesel again (and burn a lot of money again?). Is a small second car (smart petrol or the like) more popular? Retrofitting to Euro 6 does not seem to be possible with the diesel. How does it look like in foreign countries? Is it possible to upgrade to Euro 6? ch as rigorous as with us? If you want to/must sell, then probably still best now, right? Who buys a Euro5 diesel, if the blue badge is introduced then… I also wonder if it makes sense to buy a diesel at all. Who knows how long the Euro 6 diesel can drive in everywhere. I am really a diesel lover, but then surely a gasoline driver? How do you see that?

modern motors with LPG possible?
In many European cities we are discussing the issue of banning cars with diesel engines. If this discussion continues, our diesel vehicles will probably suffer massive losses in value. At that time, the diesel engine should be the clean European response to the Asian hybrid technology. Politics is deceived by the automotive industry, as the limits in the area of air pollution are not the same. I am thinking of LPG. Some German-based car manufacturers offer this technology ex works. Greeting Duelken50, who is driving with the (f)left thumbs, and who is the owner of the car, and who is the owner of the car.

How loadable are handles?
Hello, I am interested in how much weight the handles on the roof of the xc90 can handle. The question is that I often take a disabled woman with me in the car. So far this is no problem in the normal station wagon. It is small with limited mobility of the legs. As one hand enters the seat and with the other hand pulled up at the handle, her technique is up until now. Since my next car becomes the xc90, I see problems because of the height. I think it will then hang with the whole body weight (60kg) on the handle, whereby the load is in the short term jerky higher. Is there possibly a DIN, which says what the handles have to endure? Here are also dealers in the forum and vlt of you has already examined the roof in the area of the handles more closely and has seen that the screws store from the handle in a nut and not in such a tin threaded look greeting otto2111

MR Sweden Motorsport……a huge disappointment !!!
Dear Volvo Municipality If you want to give your Volvo a tuning in any way, stay away from the company MR Sweden Motorsport !!!! I have ordered articles over the Internet, paid, after a lot of reprint almost 6 months ( January to the end of May ) waiting until delivery, the articles sent back and I still wait for the money since then. Despite email contact with Mr. Marks, who always promised me a lot and did not keep me, I have never experienced the reasons Despite my written declaration of waiver, the articles were delivered to me anyway, so according to the motto, if ́s there then he already keeps them. I sent these articles back unopened and as Mr. Marks often told me, my money was demanded back. A refund has not been made until today, although the company MR Sweden Motorsport is already in possession of the ordered goods for a long time. payment dates were ignored or I was again consoled with promises….but I still haven’t got the money back…. I’m clear that an order with advance payment always involves a certain risk, but I had given into the advertising on the homepage of MR Sweden Motorsport and in the first mails with Mr Marks trust and ordered and paid with good conscience. This was in hindsight a very big mistake !!!! If others also play with the thought and the beloved Volvo want to enjoy a tuning in front of the house, in my opinion this does not do with MR Sweden Motorsport !!! There are also other and hopefully more reliable companies for this fun ….. I wish you every success so that Gruss Schleuchi
