  • I need a tip, I’ve been flashed!

hello together, I was in the circle warendorf measured on a country road (70 allowed) with 120, they had actually mounted a real flash device on a well-known flash trap! the sch..! the fine notification looked like this: 1 point in flensburg, about 150 euro fine (including fees) and 4 weeks of light away. my lawyer said, there we put in a statement and ask for the file! on the picture I am good to recognize. the statement still runs. a friend of mine I said so I’ll take the objection back and find out 4 weeks, which I can best do without the certificate, because hardly any circle is willing to increase the fine and to cancel the 4 weeks driving ban for it. have one of you a tip for me whether I should withdraw the appeal and accept the penalty or whether I listen to my lawyer and complain. (my legal protection has promised coverage) but I also don’t know what to pay for it instead of 4 weeks driving ban, if there is a 4 weeks driving ban. s 1000 euro are better to give off the ticket and let one drive. already thank you for all possible messages greeting dr.venty

  • motorists and morals – a funny examination

unfortunately again from Norway, but we can gruebeln, if a corresponding investigation in Germany brought with it similar results hætte: a magazine has compared accident data with a survey about attitudes to moral questions, both sorted by car brands. thereby came out the interesting result that drivers prestige-like vehicles – audi, bmw, mercedes – a particularly bad moral hætten. clean find, but interesting is also that volvo after the end index assorted with toyota shares the second place. there is a connection between cord jacket and morale? bmw-drivers, who are particularly immoral, build also the most unfælle. a quote: 23% of the bmw-drivers in the investigation find it in order not to pay in bus and train. the same applies to 22% of the audio and mercedes owners. 24% of the owners of the same three brands have no problems with not indicating taxable income. the majority of all car driving But he thinks this is wrong – even with the status vehicles well, somehow you have to afford such a car. the list with mixed value from numberless and moral survey, the best one above: Quotation: # Suzuki: 18% # Subaru: 18% # Toyota: 19% # Volvo: 19% # Mazda: 19% # Nissan: 19% # Mitsubishi: 20% # Honda/Izuzu: 21% # Peugeot: 21% # Opel: 21% # VW: 22% # Skoda: 22% # Ford (ikke US): 22% # Renault: 24% # SAAB: 24% # Citroën: 24% # Hyundai: 24% # Audi: 26% # BM W: 26% # Mercedes at the end is still mentioned that saab and subaru are the “most important” car brands. and saab just so still in the border country for the designation “status vehicle”. . lieb gruss oli

  • Surprising interpretation of the presiding act

My neighbor in retirement has been carrying a Mitsubishi Colt for a longer time without an accident and fulfils the typical prejudices against drivers of her age and business. Now it has caught her, after not even 100m distance she hit a truck coming from the right front when turning from one quarter road to another. Nobody except the Colt has suffered serious damage, but the accident already raises questions. On the one hand was the road into which she entered It was even more difficult to convince my neighbour that she was responsible for the accident, because she was firmly convinced that she had taken legal action – after all, she had turned her right. That with this interpretation error (“legal precedent means that he who bends the right has advance” for years. It’s amazing to be able to drive around.

  • “Best car brand” – audi, skoda, volvo?

These titles are the purest fliers at the moment. more and more “tests” and evaluations of statistics get something as title – while at mt we drift more and more into a postmodern understanding of the car evaluation: an optimal car for all there is not, everything is subjective and car magazines are in first line for entertainment. really? times three left, which I noticed this evening: 1) autoindex ’06, norway: on the question, the price of your car ste he in a good verhæltnis to value, lie skoda, toyota, honda, saab and mazda close to a “ja”. mb, audi and chrysler drivers are of opinion, the offered qualitæt reflecte not the price. rust protection bemængeln ford, hyundai and mercedes-benz drivers are the most, the least criticized this topic is with owners of audi, volvo and saab. the fewest electronic problems there are probably at saab, bmw, honda, toyota, mazda, mitsubishi and nissan, most at citroën, peugeot u nd fiat. the service is, according to the question, the worst in people’s cars, best in toyota – where the satisfaction with prices is highest. 2) adac automarxx ’06: audio and other German make the race, volvo fills up due to low value loss. 3) at jd powers you can now compare cars from their database yourself. does anyone have ideas about how to find the ultimate best car now? which surveys, tests and statistics have to be included in the evaluation? ss oli, a bit unserious

  • modern car design – everything just stolen? and nothing new?

inspired by this thread, the mirror has published an article today. at both places there are some interesting denkanstøsse. but I am actually exactly the opposite opinion: in recent times, although many similar and similar cars are presented again, but the formal language is quite varied in all classes. see e.g. civic vs golf vs c30 or 5er vs e vs mondeo vs v70. what do you think about it?

  • would you buy a Volvo even if the rumors were true?

Our XC60 is signed and is to be delivered in March (if there is nothing in between with Volvo, e.g. the investments from Ford for production no longer flow…), but we also ask ourselves, of course, whether we would buy a Volvo, whose capital owner is in China (with the local social structure this would ultimately be the state). The topic has been discussed here in the forum several times and there are still “feelings”. : would you buy Volvo if…? rapper (can’t honestly say it with certainty)

  • General: License plates in the web/on the road …

Hi all together, I have so far dispensed with an image reworking of my own license plate here in MT (and on my website). Is a.) a lot of work and b.) what actually should. As long as I do not have any forbidden instead (I remind you that everything is registered on the car – because serial vehicle) everyone can “know” my license plate. Or? On the road it looks with the unrecognizable-making nevertheless also equally much worse (and therefore also clearly). Marks (see picture) will surely get into trouble … What is your opinion on the subject? Meaningful or superfluous? Retouch or be identifiable? What can happen if everyone “knows” the mark? Tschau Torsten – the XC fan (and not always sure if everything is legal. Today was already FORD on my homepage 😉 P.S.: @Rheinstein (whatever that means for insiders) – the handcuffs please don’t buckle too tight!

  • Volvo drivers cook or cook Volvo drivers

Since the car is mostly a men’s topic, so here too, you are my real contact person (Don’t forget Funky of course).Do you like to stand by the stove? And if so, does this usually also taste what comes out of it? So I like to do it and often. Actually almost daily. My girlfriend is happy at any rate, and it doesn’t just taste like you I’m curious if I’m being banished from MT now…

  • Maximum speed of V70D5

Hello, My Volvo v70d5 is about 1.5 years old. The top speed was actually at free speed according to Tacho 220 – 225. It was replaced, because of a defect, the pressure pump. Since then the D5 “only” 210 drives. The workshop claims that an update was made and this could only be due to the Tacho needle. In addition, there is also a lock in front of 210. After the engine noise I hear, however, that the tacho stand is exactly as before. (Loud engine noise between 190 and 210, after that it became quieter). Did the workshop put a lock, because the reperature was still on guarantee and this should not happen any more? Or can this also be due to wider tyres from 205 to 215? Thank you for your reply

  • Infrared reflective discs practical?

Just another question to the esteemed audience: Does anyone have practical experience with these special discs, which are not necessarily a bargain? Are they worth their money or is the benefit not really noticeable? and is there any reason why they can lead to Probs during GPS signal reception? (I used the Google search function before – honestly.) Lg Richard
