Yesterday with my Volvo CX90 with detachable trailer coupling (which I mounted about 1 year ago and have not taken off since) I lost an empty horse trailer with full drive (approx. 60 kmh) because the ball head of the trailer coupling (!!!) was detached from the Volvo. Thank God the trailer was completely empty and no other road user was harmed. The horse trailer was about 3 km on the Volvo, on free drive, without any abnormality, and unnoticed. ger drove right into the road ditch, overturned and stayed on the roof. When I was just in the city this then “live” passed me and I find it really handsome. Since I am simply interested (without direct purchase intention ) how this Hyundai is processed and how it can be so driven, I just “booked” a test drive online. Next I have also on the Ford Page ordered a test drive for the S-Max, especially since they also advertise with it “Drive an XYZ test and you get 2 cinema tickets for the new James Bond film” …. But now I have somehow a bad conscience because I actually have no intention of buying, but I am still interested in the vehicles. How do you react in such situations? Which manufacturers are most likely to benefit from the “wasting premium” ? I don’t think Volvo so much. Who drives a scrappy car will usually tend to be a “needed” or a cheap new or annual car under 20,000,- Euro. Hello MT’ler as it turns out, Volvo will probably be sold to China. Do you remain true to “Volvo” after such a deal or what would your alternatives be? For me it will certainly not be a “Volvo” anymore. VW, Audi, Mercedes will not be in question anyway. And since the battle for BMW-Clean BMW is not a topic for me either. So what else? If I want to stay in the upper middle class then I actually only see Infinity. But since I plan a downsizing and own it I don’t see any real alternatives for the new V60 with the 1.& DRIVe or the 1.8 direct injection. Could be friends with C5 or Peugeot 308 SW at most.
