Today, I’m throwing myself on the subject of trucks on the motorway. The fat sisters and brothers of my petite moose are increasingly annoying me. They are multiplying rapidly and uncontrollably. Balance of one year: A12 Berlin-Frankfurt +2000% truck traffic A13 Berlin-Cottbus +240% truck traffic A 4 Dresden-Frankfurt/M. +180% truck traffic The motorway construction is hopelessly behind in planning and realization. And then this. Under pressure from the EU, 40 tonners are now moving through the Ländle and making SBB Cargo a rehabilitation case.http://www.sbbcargo.com/index/mec_news.htm?memi=37 The truck lobby has done a lot of work. Although it is called free competition between rail, truck, ship and jet. However, this leads to the traffic jams if no market-friendly prices are paid. Aircargo without kerosene tax, truck with the cheapest toll (according to the report of the University of Dortmund covers only 6% of the real costs). In addition, we would be moose drivers in a win-win situation: we could ride again at almost constant speed on a moderately filled motorway. Conclusion: In the medium term, empty EU and state funds will initiate a healing process in chronic truck-subventionitis fever.

Lobster alternative from Russia
Today I fell off the chair when I saw the Russian answer to the lobster on AMS-TV (combat T-98). Well, I thought the Russians could build rockets, but cars? I can think of some models that still exude the charm and “modernity” of the Cold War even in the 21st century. After a bit of research, I found it. Aha, from St. Petersburg he comes (heh, on the elk card we also have someone from St. Petersburg). The car itself is intended to protect Russia’s heavy-duty areas: 5 cm thick armored glass, good German-Swedish steel, 5 meters long and 2 meters high with a consumption between 25 and 35 litres (the latter seems to me to be a little oversized even at a weight of 4 tons just for western European conditions). Although the vehicle in the peripheral areas of the conurbations (e.g. Berlin – Potsdam) would surely find the one or other interested person. At the end of the 5 minute contribution I think soooooo doesn’t look bad at all. A car (?) with real corners and edges (as I always imagined my dream wife…) What do you think about this hammer replacement? Tom

News from Berlin: More Biosprit
A spicy detail from the Berlin agreements: From the middle of next year, biofuels will be subject to the same tax rate as fuels from mineral oil. In order to prevent an economic collapse of the rapeseed oil pressers, the mineral oil industry is at the same time obliged to add a higher proportion of bio-sprite to the fuels. Motor vehicle tax: Conversion of the basis of calculation from cylinder capacity to pollutant classes. Insurance tax: increase by three (?) percentage points VAT: is known car toll: The topic remains in the room. The passage, which is definitely not introduced, can no longer be read in the final version. I hear my moose coughing with the new organic drops The cucumber

Hello MT’ler here about 1 year ago was already discussed about the uniform car cemetery in the CH and some Volvo Fan’s also visited him. Now the eviction date is getting closer and closer – probably we with police squad cleared. And now this: who wants to buy the whole 500 old cars for 1.2 million CHF: http://auto.ricardo.ch/…/ So who has enough capital and space should let go Gruss Stephan (who drives almost daily past this car cemetery)

Volvo sold?
Hey guys, is probably a tough topic. Wouldn’t like to be lynched for this, as this is my first topic here at Motor Talk. So I came across an article this morning while surfing the net that refers to the GM wanting to separate from Volvo. What do you think about it?, There was also a vote, however, no one had ever participated. Do you mind that the Swedish moose has to live in China? Greetings to Markus Ach so here comes the article on the topic that I meant. Ciao

Polestar 2. How do you find him live?
After taking the opportunity to view Polestar 2 live in Munich today, would I be interested in how the car arrives at your place? My conclusion at this time: I can really imagine electric mobility with a vehicle like this, provided that the technical data can actually be implemented as announced. The design appeals to me personally, the materials feel good and the Android system from Google really seems to spark along with voice control. The only thing that irritated me is the headroom to the side, which is not overly generous for my terms, but probably I am a little spoiled by the XC90. Now all I have to do is convince me of the test drive…

Flooding of the streets with VOLVO SUVs
Hello guys, actually I found (and find) it great to drive a Volvo (V40 II CC), also because you don’t see it at every corner. However, I noticed that the roads with the new XC 40 and XC 60 are currently being flooded, partly already 3-4 XC 40/60 came to me in a row, otherwise I could drive for days without seeing a Volvo. Apart from that, most of them don’t even have four-wheelers, so they are practically useless city carriages and belong to forbidden, I’m afraid that in the future, not the mum in the Porsche Cayenne will park the kindergarten, but in the Volvo XC. Since all of them were plain white, I guess it’s CbV. What do you think about that?

The most reliable Volvo in the last 15 years?
We just got our two aging Japanese through the “TÜV” with an emergency cry and are now slowly looking for new vehicles. I drove a Lexus CT200h and a Toyota Avensis sample today, and I just miss the good seats, the sensible ergonomics and the style of Volvos. So why not look around? We no longer need a seven-seater, and we are very open to absolutely everything with four wheels. A very important criterion are reliability and about the This is why the thread title: Problem children can look for other parents. Absolute exclusion criterion is a CVT transmission: I don’t get that into my house. Even in sport mode, the above-mentioned Lexus “swallowed” the first second of the acceleration. I also know about mother-in-law Auris and various car hires. Preferably are manual transmission, gasoline engine and plenty of leg space in at least four seats. We need a large and a smaller commuter car. My wife now only spends 6km a way, and the 2.4 liter Camry doesn’t even get warm. Personally I would like to replace it with an S80 for me, and then add something smaller to my OHL. But I haven’t been paying attention to “new cars” for at least ten years…so anyone who wants to discuss ideas with me is welcome. Lieb Gruss Oli

Trabold Filter: Never more oil change
http://www.trabold.de I came to the “Trabold Oil Filter” via a post in the Mercedes-Forum. I looked at the part life in Wertheim last week. The system and the test reports convinced me completely: Finest filters and never change oil. Then save the machine and extend the lifespan. Here’s my question to everyone: Is there any more experiences with the filter here in the Forum??? Possible mileage without changing oil??? Please feedback. Greetings, Steffen
