Increase in the price of self-employed cars
The Federal Council has yet to discuss this matter. “The tightening of the duty-car tax privilege planned by the “law on the containment of abusive tax arrangements” had met with resistance, especially in the economy. Self-employed people have to prove that they use the duty-car to more than 50 per cent in the company in order to continue to benefit from the reduced tax rate. The measure is to be implemented unbureaucratically. “(welt.de) I’m a little insecure what is to be understood as “unbureaucratic” – a sworn tax examiner in the passenger seat? In the conversation there was a travel book for a few months/year Well, so my V70 must probably become a private car and it will cost me one or the other thousands/year.

Do Volvo drivers suffer above average from taste aberration?
Hello together, would like to discuss with a wink about the above topic. Background: I am currently interested in nn XC40/60 (not quite out yet), because I was allowed to drive an XC60 for three months, which I really liked. Now I have entered my preferences at mobile.de and sorted prices ascending. The selection is quickly very evaporated as I want both black (inside and inside), four-wheel as well as stationary heating – nevertheless the platform spits some the first hits are at first sight interesting offers (both in the 40s and in the 60s). But if you make up the photos, then you see e.g. nn xc40 with orange seats. At the 60s the “Gelsenkirchen Baroque” often comes… black car and brown seat leather or beige full equipment *kotzsmilie* 😉 After these taste errors the prices usually rise quite quickly. Now it can of course be that exactly these combinations therefore so cheap s ind;-) So let’s discuss whether Volvo drivers like to choose “limited” seating or whether I now have a purely subjective perception due to my sorting and selection. I hope you enjoy it with… especially the brown leather drivers 😉

Problems with TuneIn
For now, however, I have never written on the subject. Since the last (forced) update of TuneIn I have problems with a whole series of stations. Most of all, this only bothers me with the message “Invalid medium”. But also WDR2 is affected. NDR2 is currently running, but was also partially affected. I don’t have a VOC but an external Huwai modem as a WLAN hotspot. If I use this as a hotspot for my mobile phone n There I can stream SWR3 over the mobile app. So it is definitely a problem of the Volvo APP. I have already removed the app on the Volvo and installed it the next day. An installation error is therefore also unlikely. Since I have not found anything on the net to this problem yet, I would be interested if others get this error message or if this is an isolated problem with me.

VAT reduction – what about my order?
Thus, the GroKo has decided to reduce VAT from 1 July to 31 December 20 from 19% to 16%. This will have an impact on current orders. In anticipation of the discussions on this topic this thread already. A few general notes with my knowledge: – Advance payments are taxed at the time of payment (actual principle). – The value added tax (VAT) arises at the time of service delivery. – In the case of private purchase, the agreed gross price counts. the rule of net price agreed, because the entrepreneur usually has deductible tax and what do you think?

Polestar tuning for Volvos – Experiences
Moin, I had the Polestar version installed for the D5 since yesterday. Before, I was able to do a test drive with a D5 Polestar with my friend. At first I was very skeptical whether 8 hp and 30 Nm can convince me. But after a first longer exit I am completely satisfied. The acceleration increased noticeably. Quite clearly with the low gears, which holds a real plus in thrust. But also on the highway at 120 to 200 is significantly more sc manual acceleration in the 7th and 8th gear has a new, beautiful sovereignty. With this motorization variant almost no wish remains open for me anymore; almost! I had a temporary 5 ender as a workshop car again. What a nice engine sound. I miss that at the XC 90 D5 a little. Greetings from Erik

Interior Cameras -Geofencing Speed Control / That’s it Volvo
If that stops in the next models, it was with me with Volvo. Too bad, actually, was my first Volvo XC60 and I was satisfied with the voice control and the Navi. The 180km/h limit was already a critical point to consider after the end of my runtime to take a new one again. But if you could still handle an unlocking. But interior surveillance video and audio and geofencing control do not go at all! Am I thinking about whether I could use my leasing agent Because under the circumstances, no new Volvo will come back to me in the yard. ——————– Speed limit In order to send a strong signal in connection with the dangers of excessive speed, we have secured our new vehicles in 2020 at a maximum speed of 180 km/h. In addition, we deal with how an intelligent speed control and the geofencing technology in the future speed near school In order to combat alcohol or drug abuse and distraction in road traffic, we are working on new solutions for the interior of our vehicles.Interior cameras enable the vehicle to intervene in conjunction with other sensors when a clearly alcohol- or drug-influenced or distracted driver puts his health or even his life at risk.

When did Volvo stop building cars for long people? Why?
As a former Eiger of 145, 242 and 245, and quasi lifelong Volvo lover for almost 30 years, I like to look at Volvos as well. Now I had some time while I was waiting for someone, and the Volvo house was very close… What a disappointment! All electric offers from 40 to 60 are tiny in the interior. Suit size 40 leaves behind more ridiculous 10 cm space from seat to seat. There is hardly a baby fit in the chair behind. Also in the 60s I can not ma I have to look up in the eyes of many young people. My children both approach 1.80m and don’t fit in Volvos. Our antique Leaf, new six months ago, but a 13-year-old construction, has the place. Why does a Japaneseman do this, but not a European from a country with notoriously long people? For the first time I noticed this in Polestar 2, which also has a malp A-pillar, the most terrible interior solutions in the entire industry, and no one can receive at the back over 1.80m – at design. When did this happen and why did Volvo choose to remove long people from its customer list? Lieb Gruß Oli

Connecting to Internet, apps are not displayed
Good day, I got an XC40 T3 first registration 03/2022. The car is a reimport from Sweden where the navigation software was deleted. Now I tried to install Google Maps, which was not possible. An Internet connection is established (now via SIM) and it is also possible to use already installed apps (Spotify) and to create updates, but new apps are not displayed and not found. I have now also Volvo Deutschland k Ontact, but they could not help me either. Now I ask you, do you know the solution? Thank you in advance for your help & warm greetings Jörg
