Hi, are there CD-RWs that the HU 603 swallows? I have here a 700MB blank of Verbatim from 2001 which I once burned as DAO and once as TAO. But the CD part always reports iirc “Disk Error”. Are there any special audio CD-RWs that then work, or RWs from a particular company that may have a different reflection layer(color)? Has one tried n bissel?

*** Revamp VOLVO forum names
Hello together, we urgently need to work on the forum names, because the current ones are simply too long and confusing. With my suggestions, which are supposed to simplify above all and improve clarity. Since we have no platform names throughout, I have also deleted the 3 newer platform names. All changes are made in the first post (so this one here). What do you think about this? the scirocco can call itself “r” in fast?
has seen this article and I am surprised that vw the scirocco can call it “r” in the gti edition. has volvo there been something going on? when the new volvonames “sedan” – s and “versatility” – v were introduced, that was the consequence of a lawsuit audios, which at that time did not want to allow the s/v40 to be launched as s/f4, just because audio already offers a s4. the other way around this seems to work, because folk cars came with a “t5” and now offers the “r”, whereby here the r letter for “renntechnik” and not “refinement” stands. but I find that funny. others? dear gruss oli

Wishlist MJ 2006
So, people, here the collection of your wishes, collected in the main forum. Who finds typos, may keep them. Recipient: – VOLVO itself – a manager at VOLVO D – a manager at VOLVO S, but in English, boah, I have to translate all this! Hello, from the largest German speaking VOLVO forum, it is to be found at www.Motor-Talk.de, is a wish list of active VOLVO drivers for the further development of the company and the vehicles emerged. It is a collection of wishes of all Members of this forum. In order to be able to follow our wishes better, we have divided the requirements/desirations into the following sections: -general requests for VOLVO – S40/V50 – S60/V70/S80 and XC-models in it there are further subdivisions. Please do not misunderstand the mass of messages, but also good vehicles are able to improve. We are also aware that not everything can be the same, but how would it be if a company really wanted to the customer listens and the mass of wishes works? general wishes to VOLVO value of the German market What value do wishes from Germany have for VOLVO in Sweden? From a purely German position one can often not resist the impression that one wants to satisfy the Americans and “good eats”… Are we on the ranking of the favorite countries of Volvo at least number 3 (after USA and S)? The German market is a sensitive market. And a little more M In its importance, the market in other countries is easily outperformed. VOLVO should think about it. Quality of the products 1. Why are there still common and well-known weak points, how fast ejecting stabilizers, clapping roof sky, tearing turbo hoses, etc., which then have to be changed to Kulanz? Rather give the supplier 2 euros more per piece, and then do not have to pay 200 E of spare parts and 150 E of wages. It is a misconception, to think that one can build trust with recalls. Such a Schmarrn/Stuss/Unsinn believe only highly paid managers, who never have to pay a car themselves and change the vehicles after a few weeks. 2. it would be desirable that Volvo b 3. And our greatest wish: Volvo should continue to develop its own engines alongside the foreign agregates. The competence should be shared between Volvo and its customers. VOLVO is a family car, but this target group is completely hidden in the viewing in the magazine. I used it today for the first time and had to find that it is in no way inferior in terms of equity of the boot cover. Runtime display in the display CD player. So Lapidar things like track runtime and rest time can each MP3 player (and not only with fast search run), 10. Cheaper Navi with monochrome display and arrow display (language output should of course be there anyway). the electronics. Why only do premium manufacturers have to equip their models with all imaginable stuff (…if it doesn’t even work with the rain sensor right away) ? I don’t need the proof with my vehicle that everything is technically possible installed, but that the installed technology works well. 4C, BLIS etc. are quite nice, but I have my doubts about completely computer-controlled secure features and would like to do without it. Bill Gates sends his greetings. Non-desirable in the diesel group: Modern diesel technology is good when it delivers efficiency, cleanliness and comfort. What BMW, Audi and consorts throw on the market is impressive. But it’s dirty stuff and only proves that high performance is possible with petrol as well as diesel. However, my benchmark for a good diesel engine is not the same high-performance gasoline, but the petrol station, the vehicle tax and my account balance (or credit line, already clear). D he favourite would be a revised D5 with 175hp, 400NM and RP filter. I wouldn’t feel bad if VOLVO took our wish list seriously. The competition is tough and the best feedback comes from the customer, visible in the market share. We all want it to rise. And that only works if you get better Many greetings Jürgen Schrader

taste – at some point stuck!?
discussed with a friend article. man thinks that there are “taste windows” that eventually close and then the probability of acceptance of a novelty to 5% or less. Quote: for at least one particular fashion novelty, the window of acceptivity essentially closed by age twenty-three; for popular music, it closed by thirty-five; for an alien food type, by thirty-nine what do you think, læsst also apply to cars? has any of you sow we have also discussed a lot of useful and inconvenient innovations in cars in recent times, does your opinion sound like this? Experience with PitStop/ false winter tyres = no insurance cover
Hello V-community, I would like to share my experience with PitStop and would be pleased with advice and tips: Recent TÜV check showed that the winter tyres raised about 2 years ago are not approved for my Volvo. According to papers – and thus manufacturer specifications – 185/70 R14 are the smallest approved size. What I was sold was, however, as now turned out after three winter seasons, only the size 175/70. So according to Tüv I am three winters without approval. And with it even without insurance cover – fortunately WITHOUT accident. Result: I get new winter tyres raised by Volvo and thus get fresh TÜV and actually also insurance cover again. To this end, PitStop only approves of a residual value refund according to residual profile depth. How high this cash payment will be, is still calculated. What do you say about it? My sense of justice would rather be based on a 100% refund and calmly I’ve never had a crash on all sides. Greetings Martin

German cities before the driving ban?
In the latest issue of the SPIEGEL this article jumped into my eyes today:http://www.spiegel.de/spiegel/0,1518,330927,00.html Since I know the situation in Berlin, Frankfurt/Oder and Cottbus quite well, I think that here only billions of investments of the state in bypass roads & the public transport system bring something. Moreover, the car industry and the car buyers should soon be able to pay a lot of money for new engines. Whether they want to or not. In the short term, at least in Berlin the C Public transport companies, such as the BVG, will look forward to more sales. Cottbusers have also sharpened the pen. They want to ban the federal roads from the city and demand the 200 million euros promised by the federal government for 10 years and postponed to a bypass road after 2015. Otherwise, they want to temporarily cut off the traffic towards Poland from next year. It will still be funny. Because the federal government should not invest the necessary investment for a short time or a long time. And so it came as it had to come: On Saturday the first, unscheduled 6 million check from Stolpe for the road planning in the town hall ended up. How do you see the thing? Greeting from the air-jabbing cucumber from the traffic-laden Cottbus *hust*

Change of timing belt
Hi Folks, after we had our V40 Diesel Bj. 99 in September in inspection (75000 km, timing belt change), this did not start as joyfully as before. When we drove in the workshop, there was a defective glow that was changed. Nevertheless, the aggregate did not jump properly. In the meantime we were ATTENTION! once in the workshop, whose master after changing the diesel filter housing, the exhaust back valve etc. does not know any more. It means: 40 sec. org, set off, again glow, then it jumps on and fogs the entire road. If it has jumped in the morning, it is no problem to start all day. WHO CAN ME CONTINUE!?!?!? Greetings, Siegie.

Wishlist MJ 2005
Hi Leutz, another thread has already been listed, what you would expect so much for an MJ 2005. I start with (quote from another thread: regarding wish options the Volvo should offer in my opinion also for 2 years, the following points would be included: – “automatic window panes close with remote control” (does not cost the world, however, there is simply not) – that the exterior mirrors e.g. also automatically darken (other Herstel The possibility to choose a “premium” paint finish – which is less sensitive than the current varnishes of Volvo – – automatically darkening sides/heck discs…. – or as an option an electrically retractable “solar roller” on the rear window, – Bluetooth system (for telephone) or other devices – automatic air pressure control of the tires – DVD player with LCD monitors in the headrests for fund passengers – And the new hip: moving out illumination of the road… – etc… What do you still think is missing? Jürgen
