Hello, in the ElchWiki the question was raised whether the Chirp module is permissible in Germany. The instigator argues that it produces unnecessary noise and is therefore inadmissible. On the manufacturer’s side there is no information about an ABE or similar, on the photos of the device there is no corresponding mark to be seen, but this can also be due to the poor recording perspective. As far as I know, there were some that have installed the module, which it also has the 🙂 installed. Therefore it should be allowed in my opinion. Hi Did you notice that in the last years there have been more and more car-tunips on the road? So guys who just have their driver’s license and then hang out with their tuned or papis boxes on all possible parking spaces and tanks. So in my city this is beginning to take over. Running at a traffic light with two tracks I have a crazy next to me, who apparently only wants to make a traffic light because I have tinted windows. That really sucks. Because as a “cool” Volvo driver I don’t like to be overtaken by a Volvo. Besides, I can’t be overtaken by the poor guy who wants to prove something to his girlfriend :-). But it would be fun. I’ve always torn myself together so far. How is that so with you? Or is that just the case with boring little kids. Have you ever let yourself get rid of the taillights to show? I hope not …. 🙂 Marcus

hoi zämä now, where the days get warmer again and the climate automation is often needed again I also have a question: I have come to ears that you should switch off the climate automatic approx. 5min before reaching the target to avoid damage or to conserve the climate automatic! have you heard similar times or is the nonsens ! you turn off the climate automatic at all or is it always on on ? mfg

Hello, I would like to buy a used V70 (built in 2000-2002) as diesel. Now I have seen some offers with the “old” 2.5TD with 140hp. Some with the newer 2.4 with 130hp. Now my question: Can you compare the two (for example reliability, driving performance, comfort)? Can I take an “old” with 140hp without any problems, or should I prefer the 2.4 (reliability?)? Or at all save something on the equipment and grab the D5 with 163hp. I’m new here, and deshlab my many questions! I hope some of you can help me with my purchase decision. Thanks already, Thomas
