Hello together, as far as I can currently review it, there are the same functions, questions and problems for all current models with VoC. Therefore, I suggest that VoC-related topics (incl. VoC-App) are discussed here. My first question is: The VOC-App shows, among other things, mileage, temperature at the vehicle and the heart rhythm disturbances of the neighbour. I leave the app open during the ride, changes during and also long after the ride of the KM-Stand in the app. In which chem spacing will the data be synchronized?

“megapulser”: Revitalize car batteries by reducing sulfatation… Experiences?
HAllo, after yesterday my battery problems caused me, I actually wanted to look around for a new one, but then came up with a device, that the sulfation with lead-acid batteries can undo (partly) again. Information about this can be found on the manufacturer’s homepage, http://www.novitec.de/ (click on “megapulse” on the left) The references are not bad, does someone have experiences?? In the workshop you should ask better nciht, a new battery brings more Turnover as the device costs about half of a new battery. Yesterday at a Volvo meeting it was also recommended to me by someone who built it in. But still skeptical…. What do you think of it??? Ciao, Eric

185hp D5 consumption.
Hello, Can it be that the new D5 burns significantly more diesel than the old 163hp engine?? Well known by us, even in NL it was difficult to get the car to an average consumption of 9.5L. Of the V70 II with 163D5 I was actually quite satisfied with a BC cut of 7.2L. Does the new D5 really need more diesel than the “old” engine due to its just 22hp extra power now?? And what does this look like with the 2.4D needs the deutl I am less than the D5, according to Volvo Germany the consumption is almost identical?! Greeting Martin

DMC DeLorean powered by Volvo – BackToTheFuture 😉
Hi together, read straight (Spiegel Online) that the DMC DeLorean has a Volvo engine (and hope that the quality of this engine contributed to the fact that individual DMC reached the said 400,000km). Too bad, of course, that there was a vanishingly small amount of these beautiful vehicles. Could change again, but that is probably the wish of the new owners. As “Back_in_die_Zukunft” fan (and of course as an SF fan also a would-be-good time traveler) come to me nostalgic Ge feel high. Back then (at least that was 1985, XC fan only in the 2nd year of training!!) it was already a cult car, today it fills me with a little smile, that it was only a 132hp Volvo engine, which ensured under the box for the advance. Good ride! Torsten – the XC fan (and for 1985 were 132hp OK, right? 😉 And now comes not with “for that had a switchable Flux compensator 😉

Europe-wide speed 90?
it will be loud, which demand Europe-wide speed 90 due to the high øl prices. how do you feel about it? what influence would this have on road construction and car industry? do you see this as a sensible saving or would you prefer to rely on improved technology in the automobile? would you support this proposal for a certain period of time, in order to return to the old regulation afterwards? what about the fuel stations who are already complaining about too low revenues? would it be the case that the collective transport to help new høhens if you don’t travel faster with the car anyway? lieb gruss oli p.s.: at the same time this comes after, but that resources should definitely be dealt with more gently, there is certainly great unity about it – right?

D5 eats cooling water…
Hello , have an XC 70 AWD D5: the following problems exist there…who has ideas where to start my search: 1) were traveling 2007 and 2008 with caravans in Croatia, on every longer mountain he became regularly too warm, so up to 3/4 of the display, on normal track he then went back quickly to the normal area over , or with the help of the heating inactivation it was under control… ..but only with caravan, otherwise never occurred 2) now for about 6 months he consumes water, a uf 1000km so far 1 liter – water is nothing in the oil – despite the pressure at the dealer to detect no exit up to 3 bar – machine runs flawlessly, no jerking or the like, according to. dealer can not get water into the combustion room, would immediately jerk etc. the machine would be oversensitive So big question where is the water ???? Has DA JEMAND IDEEN, or could it be the head gasket … could it burn through the heater, there must also a heat exchanger sitting, could that be ??? About help I would be grateful

Renault interested in Volvo again?
What do they say about it? I’m not surprised. Nissan doesn’t really make a lot of money in Europe with expensive cars and Renault’s declared goal of passing the S80 in Germany with the Vel Satis in the registration numbers has also failed.

THE worst car I’ve ever had was
New theme, new fun! Here I hope that we won’t find the name Volvo too often – as far as slight OT danger is concerned. I’m interested in who calls what the worst box he’s ever owned and driven – and why? Ring free! Picture chief, you have a break with your eighth – you don’t want to spoil the fun. I’ll shut up myself too, because I would have to say 144 otherwise… lG Richard
