There are two municipalities in our district, which with huge banners at the entrance to the village and also on the road point out that too much traffic goes through the spots and has to be bypassed. Also, in the local press you read very toxic letters of readers from people who live directly on the thoroughfare. Every time I read these letters and banners, my mind boils over. Why? It is always the people who complain about too much traffic, who live directly on the main road. Why do these people live on the main road…. ? Because there the rents, apartments, houses or construction sites are the cheapest. In addition, the residents always put the vehicles on the through road, that a smooth traffic is almost “impossible”. In return, one moves but over traffic jams and tin avalanches in the place to which are provoked so naturally. Strangely however, it is that exactly these people also own cars, nevertheless get upset about traffic (similar to the residents who scold about flight noise but want to fly even on vacation) For such behavior I have no understanding whatsoever !
