  • Are inflow lights on BAB driveways “regulated”?

Every day the same thing on the “Ruhrschnellweg”. Traffic jam or tough-flowing traffic. At each driveway a traffic light to the inflow control. I noticed that the “green phases” come as you are funny. Slow traffic, every 5 seconds green. Fast traffic, every 15 seconds green. Traffic jam, lights off. I would do it the other way around. Slow= longer distances, fast= shorter distances. Traffic jam= permanent red. Even though many do not understand the meaning of the traffic lights. Green, one allowed, 2 hissing over. And a The acceleration strip gives the gas so that the “artificially” drawn column sticks to each other again. And when 5 cars drive simultaneously into the gap for “a car”, the subsequent traffic stands suddenly. Greetings, Günni.

  • Does the TÜV need floorlight?

hi I have a small problem with my light switch, so that I turn on the lights again and again by a wobble contact when blinking and even if I drive over impact holes or hubbel the fenlich or light horn and I blind the other ones. since I should have done tuv in the nov actually but it did not and this replacement replacement part (blinker switch) is exorbitantly expensive I drive around in the mom with standing light + fog lights. now however the idea is for me I can just flash and don’t have any problems with the remote light. the question is now if the tüv would complain about this immediately and not the standing light. does one of you know that maybe? (actually, you can’t drive around anywhere according to Stvo anyway) for other alternative ones that could help me solve the problem, of course, I would be also ankbar. mfg P.S.: so don’t get me wrong, I’m not a (as unfortunately many) one who saves on safety – I even think about having a roll-over bus built in at some point but only by the way – but the price is quite astronomical, considering that you should spend just under 900 DM for a lever.

  • Keep track of BAB curves. Is a course in the driving school useful for this?

Every day the same game. A 40, direction Dortmund. A “narrow” right turn. Tempo 100 are allowed and easy to ride, without feeling “G-forces”. You only have to follow the curve. But on the left there is a “modern” concrete guide plank, which probably makes many fear. Result. Curve ride with the middle line between the wheels. And the right moving (reaction provided) are forced on the stand strip. I cannot observe this behaviour on the straight BAB sections. Although the track is the same width on the straight as in the curve, some do not manage to keep the centre of the track. Basically, it doesn’t matter if several traffic jams would not be based on accidents in this curve. Does it make sense to rumble the fear cutters a re-training in the driving school? Greetings, Günni.

  • Best routes for fast driving

Hello, I wanted to encourage a small collection here, on which highways you can drive best fast: A31 Emden-Bottrop A92 Erding-Landhut (nightly) A96 I don’t know what it looks like with restrictions, but also little to do A555 (legend.där) A38 direction Halle Who knows more?

  • What width for winter tyres?

Hello together, recently I looked at my winter tyres more closely and had to find out that there are already carcase fractures (delles in the tyre wall) on three tyres. Since the tyres are already seven years old I need new ones now. Now the question arises in which size I should take the tyres. So far I have assumed that one should take rather narrow tyres in winter. Therefore, my current winter tyres are also in the smallest width those in the vehicle license When I was advised in the workshop chain with the three red letters, a master told me that one should use rather wide tires in winter to displace a as large (snow) surface as possible. Now I do not know which size is the most suitable for the Astra-F combi. Currently the largest registered tire width is 185er. I hope now that a few experts can help me with some tips on the right winter tire purchase. Greeting, Uwe

  • OT: the car of the future? Your suggestions!

How do you see our cars in about 10-15 years? What do you want with regard to safety? Here is what I would like from the cars of the future:Infrared / thermal camera(s) or sensors Objects such as wild animals or humans would be visible on a TFT display in the vehicle. I would absolutely like that and would be a thick PLUS of safety. Technically it would already be relatively cheap to make it. em is the connected electronics in the car, free according to the motto: “The CD player no longer works, now also the damper regulation has to believe in it”. ABS, ESP and co are a great development only the manufacturers have it to develop apparently foolproof, good suspensions which are still well manageable in EXFALL. Here you have to do something! … so far as my wishes for the automotive industry. What do you think??

  • Winter tyres: Semperit or Barum / steel rim or reassembly….

Hello, I want to finally buy winter tyres for my Renault Twingo (145/70R13 71S or 155/70R13 75T), but have no idea, but many questions. I asked in two workshops and was recommended in the first: – steel rim with winter tyres “Semperit” incl. assembly and storage = 370 Euro and in the second: – “Barum” incl. assembly without storage =165 Euro These are of course enormous price differences and my narrow purse advises on the “Barum”-Ang ebot. – Has anyone had any experience with these brands? – Here in Schleswig-Holstein it is rather wet, or snowy, which tire is better? What do I have to pay attention to? – What is better: Winter tires on their own steel rims or winter tires on the summer tire rims? – What is the best way to store the summer tires yourself? Probably not in the -cool bedroom under the bed…… 😉 (have no garage or similar) – Where are the differences between 145/70R 13 71S and 155/70R13 75T? 71S…75T….., a size for the summer and one for the winter??? Yes, I have no idea – would I otherwise drive a Twingo Maybe you can help me with some advice, I would be very pleased. Dear greetings, Alexandra P.S. I just found a page with tyre comparisons of consumers for consumers (can I call this link here? I prefer to leave it, otherwise there’s still a heath *who knows*) And according to the reports there, I would I decide for a “Barum Polaris2”. Especially in the area of “wet” it seems to work quite well…… Your opinion? Is this tire even for my little Twingo?

  • Race management in the driving school car???

Hi guys, I had an experience of the third kind yesterday. I don’t need a traffic light and a driving school drives past me. Actually nothing unusual, you should think… Only the two gentlemen who sat in there didn’t look like driving students for me….so in a beautiful green race management uniform. I didn’t get a bad impression. Well, my question. Is there something you know that they do or have seen of you before? So I really to 9 0% sure that was my friend and helper!!! Greetings, BennyRay

  • Back to parking. Don’t even professionals know that?

Recently with us in the clinic quarter. My wife in the hospital, and I want to visit her. In the clinic quarter is parking registration compulsory on 7 days/week. The “residents” have bought “special park right”. So everything fully parked. But Günni in luck. A free parking space!!! So turn signal to the right, next to the front man stopped and returned to park. Unfortunately behind me a “short-sighted” taxi driver. Drives up to 1m on , hoops, gives light horn and gesticulated wild. I reset slowly, The taxi driver drives a little bit ahead to block me completely. I drive 2m to let him pass (no oncoming traffic, since two lanes one way street). He follows like a dachshund, bumper to bumper. I just stop. As usual. Turn signal to the right and reverse turn. After 2 minutes the intelligence probably had a glance at the light. He drives on the left lane next to me, stops and greets friendly with the words: “Well off, you stupid assloc h, fucker”. Somehow I took this personally and fucked up the taxi fred at his company (I’m sorry, but such people don’t belong on the road, but in the closed home). Shouldn’t even professional drivers know how to park backwards? Greetings, Günni.

  • What to do: Fox in cross traffic

I’d be interested in what you did/do in similar situations or think you’re going to do. I’m going from Munich to Augsburg this morning (4.45 am), cruise 180 – great, because there’s a life-suffering fox sneaking over the right track just before Augsburg. Instinctively, I’ve evaded something (he was already pretty close to the edge) and I didn’t catch him and nothing spectacular has happened, apart from my horror. Things looked different (I think that I wouldn’t have driven 180 then, but it could have been only the spot). OR: I take the fox on the far side, because maybe not only the shreds of Master Reinicke fly. What would you have done? Sure, at the speed an obstacle appears much too late in the field of view or headlight cone (I owe it myself) to decide: small animal (platting), man (evasive), concrete block (evasive) etc. As said, would be interesting And please: no sermons, that I did not adjust the speed to the manageable range. I know myself (see above). But maybe you have done it before. Besides: without a fox there would have been no greeting, daniel fibrile
