  • Driver’s license lost/stole – how to proceed?

Hello guys, I have a problem… since the last disco visit in 70km away Munich my driver’s license is gone! I guess he was stolen from my jacket – in which he was and which unfortunately lay around a few times unattended. How should I proceed now? I googled and find various statements. Once I have to report to the police immediately and the loss/theft. Then I have to apply for a new driver’s license and can apply for a replacement driver’s license. I would also like to… if it is found or delivered somewhere. Only what if I am checked? Then 10 or 15€ are due and I have to show my driver’s license within a week!? How do I best proceed now? Report theft and have a replacement driver’s license issued first? Or is it enough if I only report theft and a certificate from this company? Do you have any experience with the cost of all this? Thank you very much!

  • IT security awareness of drivers

Hello, I hope it fits in here…. I have come across an interesting topic: that viruses and co. represent a threat for every PC in the net is / should now be known to everyone. But what does this actually look like with the car? Meanwhile in principle also with the car all prerequisites are met: Describeable memory, BUS networking, networking with Internet etc. That with the help of fake/manipulated messages quite component behavior can be changed rides shown, e.g. by: – http://omen.cs.uni-magdeburg.de/automotiv/cms/upload/SecViolation.pdf or – www.autosec.org/pubs/cars-oakland2010.pdf There is now an online survey and who likes to participate. link removed – twistance/MT-moderation The evaluation results are then posted in this Threat (evaluation ca. January 2013).Thank you for all who take part! Greetings Stadtkind

  • High fines for severance in the ZUB I

The reason for this is that in the German vehicle documents (ZUB I and ZUB II ) there is a line behind the identification mark. Supposedly up to 500 euros the penalties should amount.Every driver who plans to drive to Austria or Italy should first report to his registration office and have a new vehicle certificate ( ZUB I ) issued without a line. If possible, it has already been approved by the rapid procedure and will probably occur in the near future. The cut-off line will be deleted in general. Kling good = the line will be deleted I would like to use this hint to protect and warn those who still have the cut-off line in the ZUIB I and plan a trip to the countries shortly bwz. http://en.autoblog.com/…/ Schönes WE

  • On the subject of road safety and the environment!

Here are my proposals for more safety in road traffic and environmental protection. Flensburger points system abolish. Mobile phone ban when driving. Alcohol in road traffic: 0.0 promille. Main investigation (HU): first after 3 years then every 12 months. Environmental zones in all cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants introduce, (only green plaques). Significantly more money in the expansion of public transport invest, than in road traffic. Tempo limits for climate protection u nd traffic safety. – Innerots: 40 km/h. – Out of town: 80 km/h. – Highway: 120 km/h. Speed crossings Inner city AND Out of town. – up to 10 km/h = 120 € – 11-20 km/h = 250 € – 21-30 km/h = 350 € – 31-40 km/h = 480 € + 3 months driving ban. – over 41 km/h = at least 600 € / income dependant. + 6 months driving ban. • Aggressive brand-dependent / Survey ADAC

I have just read the survey on aggressive behaviour in road traffic on the side of the ADAC and am a little surprised. “Especially due to tight driving and pushing, the respondents noticed BMW (50.6 percent), Mercedes (32.2 percent), Audi (25.9 percent) and Porsche (8.7%). This is shown by a representative survey of the ADAC motor world. Many road users also conclude from the car colour to the driving behaviour. 9.7 percent still have this assessment on silver vehicles.” One could argue now that BMW, Merc, Audi and Porsche are building the fastest cars… . Has the marketing of sportiness at BMW gone through this way? The registration numbers are about the same with all of them. Interestingly, I would have distributed places 1 to 4 in exactly the same order in the survey.

  • Hit-and-run?

Hello, was just with dogs gassi, then I saw the parking of a pensioner. Well… he just had to drive in backwards. There was only a VW and Renter drove a Opel. Well…Rentner drives backwards and “pushes” the VW…. VW was probably hit more at the license plate. I was at the height of both weighings than I saw that, on the other side of the road. Pensioner got out, looked fleetingly after his car and left. I then returned. Visually nothing was visible at the VW. I went my way. e gassi round on. When I went back, the Opel was gone. There was no note on the VW. I noted both car numbers and time in the mobile phone. Should I forget it? Or should I report it to the police for a moment? I’m really unreliable…..war only the typical door in the parking lot….but so could for example a bracket in the inside be broken and spare parts at VW are known to be not cheap…. Your opinions on this? Thank you, Jürgen

  • Getting Dutch license plates

Hello you, I hope I’m right here in the topic with safety. I have a question and I was recently with my girlfriend in Amsterdam, with your cousin. The living there. At night was broken into the car. The disc, the radio and other things stolen!! However only from our car with German license plate!! I informed myself once more and found that this everyday life in Amsterdam is with foreign vehicles. It was a quiet side All the other vehicles that were standing there were unharmed. So, since we are there more often, we are of course afraid that it will happen again in the future! Now I wanted to ask if you can not get any Dutch plates and make them to the car so long, so it is not noticeable that we come from Germany. There will probably be less chance that it will happen again, because they just think that they are native ones. We also drive not only t by car, we always leave it there and always drive there by bus and train. So it wouldn’t drive with the license plates on the street. Should be as a “camouflage” so to speak. Or do you know something better???

  • Thick ships always left

The exit from a nearby city highway is 2-tracked and divides into traffic lights on the right and left. Before the left traffic lights all VTs are waiting for their greens in a row, to then drive over a bridge, which is 2-tracked. The bread and butter cars remain with very few exceptions to the right. At the first approx. 100 meters applies speed 50, which is then replaced by an 80 TL. What I keep watching again and again: Of the thick ships remains quite s Else one on the right track – usually change immediately to the left track and board on it. Conversely it is the same: Of the BBAs only occasionally use one of them the left track. The behavior of the Dickschiff pilots allows in my eyes certain conclusions.

  • Car registration number yourself? (bicycle trailer concealed original)

It seems that there are enough people who do exactly that (picture). [Many years ago, about 1995, my parents were stolen the back plate in Hungary vacation. That was an act without end, to let the vehicle drive back into the FRG – there was a scratch from the office from Hungary (police). The parents had, after the authorities had arranged the trip home without any problems, gone through. . I then wanted to drive the car to the registration office about 25 km away and was promptly fished and controlled by the federal road ;-)] Good ride! Torsten – the XC fan (
