  • Who’s got the lead?

    So now I come with a question for the “experts” here, although for ME the situation is clear. Friday the 13th, I drive as usual to my first passenger in the morning and must stand for it through a narrow road in the right parked cars. Then I bend LINKS into a dead end. Also there right parked cars, of which first with approx. 2m distance to the other road, an LT. Then followed a car, a gap of about 3m and again 2 cars. Behind to the next car a larger Lü 10m. So I’m turning into the dead end and I’m just past the LT, when a BMW convertible is driving out of a driveway right. Since the BMW driver doesn’t make any stops, although he’s seen me MUST (! I’M driving with LIGHT!) he drives on and prevents me from clearing the road. Since I’m driving an extended VW bus, I’m still trying to avoid the far too short parking space, which does not prevent the gentleman in the BMW from blocking me now. And now he expects me to sit back to let him through. On the sidewalk is probably under his dignity. Nevertheless, he drives a bit on the sidewalk and then thinks that I should go on, but what was not possible for me to touch the BMW or the car parked on the right. I also showed him this through helpless gestures. Finally, he gives in and passes. Now my question to the “experts”: what to do in such situations? According to § blablablabla, I would have to I was already in the road BEVOR he drove out of the driveway! The whole thing gets a taste, because about half a year ago the good man in the driveway (we remember: parked vehicles on one side!) came to meet me, I could NOT avoid it and he expected me to sit back in the dark (!) about 50m to let him pass!   • Petition against the shortening of TÜV inspections

    Hello together, the EU came up with a great idea again. The EU Commission wants to have the main investigation carried out jubilantly! I have filed a petition against it, because it does not make any sense in my opinion. We already have a super TÜV here and every two years should be enough.     Hello guys, I bought a car from an Opel dealer just three weeks ago and picked it up last Saturday. I have addressed the dealer – this meant it was a used car and you have to check now whether this is not more or less normal and must be accepted with a used vehicle. How do you see this? Do I have to accept this or can I assert a warranty claim?

  • Overtaking highway

    The following situation: highway, 3-lane. Driver drives on the middle lane, speed between 120 and 130 km/h. On the right lane a truck, behind a caravan team. According to the witness, the driver also did not touch the guardrail, but there was a sign that one had to avoid the caravan. Damage to their vehicle.   • Two lanes and traffic jams

    Hello forum, I hope I have chosen the right forum for my topic… The following situation (it’s been a while), so we’re going back to the summer 08 again, played off on the Arlberger expressway (in the direction of Arlbergpass). Shortly after Bludenz-Bings we’re going up the mountain for a short 2-track. There the traffic stopped due to a construction site at the end of the 2-track extended route (according to traffic news on the radio 10-15 km ??? and over one hour waiting time) It started g not forward. Anyway I arrived there and when I was there where it becomes 2-track, I see that all vehicles were on the right lane in the traffic jam and not a single car used the left. There was also nowhere a sign that the left lane is locked or you are not allowed to use it. Anyway I put the turn signal out and on the left past the traffic jam (I was the first, a second and a third vehicle made it after me) Only some drivers of my project were practicing My thought was after a while “I’m allowed to drive around” so again turn signals out and also past the blockers of the left track. Then I experienced something that I have never experienced before. I or my car was spat at, insulted, skunked by the people standing on the right track. I went up to the construction site and put myself there and had to laugh at what had just happened. What do you say to the incident, would you have acted exactly like me or would you have ranked yourself well like the others on the right ? Bzw. how does this look legally, was my behavior ok or not ? I can use both tracks in traffic jams, drive forward and then place them in the zipper !?
