  • How much gas money is appropriate?

Hello everyone; Lappen is passed, first own car is soon at the door. But the question still imposes itself with the fuel money? In my circle of acquaintances this is regulated completely differently: Some put the odometer meticulously on 0, and then drive with 0,25€ calculated mileage flat rate, whereby the passenger takes over the half! The others are a little looser and expect only, from time to time, a burger. And the quite loose take no fuel money if they the strictness The last thing to do is to make it dependent on the financial situation of your passenger; who doesn’t pay anything, but if you already earn your own money, then gas money is already welcome! With those with whom I have already been with, I will of course handle it as well as they do with me. But as far as the others are concerned, what would you think is fair about Spitgeld? What would you make it dependent on? I am absolutely not a miser. he makes an elephant out of a mosquito, but I am still a student, so my fuel budget is limited – and fuel nowadays is anything but cheap. lg

  • Why doesn’t the fog-closing light switch off automatically?

Hello, it’s fog time again and like every year we use the fog light strongly. So far so good. Now the light is often enough even at visibilitys over 50m and at speeds over 50 km/h. Why doesn’t the fog light switch off automatically? That wouldn’t be a problem technically. Either from 50 km/h or restrictively: the car doesn’t drive any more faster then it would be fast out. With the whole electronic snap nowadays no problem anymore. e glare with free view and the too fast driving when no view goes to the nerve. nevertheless always safe driving Peter

  • Notice of fine incomplete personal data

Hello together I have just received 2 fine notifications. It is about false parking (on a disabled parking lot) as well as participation in traffic without fine dust badge de facto 75€ and 1 point. Now it is however that I have the car at the time of the crime to an acquaintance. Dementently I have to speak again before the fine notice. If the acquaintance is not a family member I am obliged to give information about the driver, only so it is that I do not I have all the information, although I know his last name as well as his nickname and the city in which he lives, I have neither the address, place of birth, date of birth, etc. Now I have read: “Even in the case of an irregularity procedure it is in doubt to decide in favour of the accused. However, since a vehicle owner should in principle be aware of who is on the road with his vehicle, even a won objection can have unpleasant consequences. In the event of a parking violation, the costs of the procedure are easily imposed on the owner.” Source: http://www.rafraenkel.de/cgi-bin/texte/data/42.pdf As I am now afraid that this is not possible due to the information: nickname, surname and city, I wanted to ask if the costs can actually be transferred to me? Should this be the case, can I simply apply for a travel book?

  • Xenon & SRA

More and more often, vehicles are equipped with Xenon, but (relatively) many of them without the headlight cleaning system prescribed by the KBA. When I look around at the parking lots, the typical xenon piston is there, but no nozzles or flaps are to be discovered in the bumper. Are these then re-imports? (e.g. in Belgium or the Netherlands, the SRA is not mandatory to my knowledge, e.g. not available at all)

  • Abroad Flashed and no desire to pay…

What is this really like when you are flashed abroad in Europe and simply don’t pay? Can the German authorities then collect the money for the other country, or can you only be prosecuted by the authorities of the respective country? In the past, it used to be that if you haven’t paid you had no problems until you enter the country again. I doubt that this is still the case today – in the new, united Europe.

  • Turn signal in the headlamp

Hello! What I’ve been asking myself for a long time: Why did some manufacturers put the front lights in the main headlights in their cars? In my opinion, you hardly recognize (rather than not) if the turn signal is on in an incoming vehicle when the headlights are switched on. Is that just what I am doing or did you notice that? I’m curious about your opinions.

  • Truck driver with 73 points

A truck driver has achieved a rare feat: with 73 points in the traffic register, the 54-year-old man was still in possession of his driver’s license. His illegal journey was only noticed when he again violated traffic rules. Freiburg – As soon as the points account in Flensburg to 18 points or more swollen, the driver’s license is gone. But not with the 54-year-old truck driver from North Rhine-Westphalia. To her surprise, the police stopped the man with 73 Punk On Monday afternoon, the officers noticed an overloaded truck, as a spokesman reported on Tuesday. The subsequent journey on the scale confirmed this. The front axle had been overloaded by 23 per cent. During the driving licence check it turned out that the driver had been tendered for collection by the authority. The investigation revealed that the man from North Rhine-Westphalia had an account with 73 points in Flensburg. So far the driver had noticed nine times because of driving without a driving licence, parking on motorways, accident escape as well as violations of pedestrian crossings and speed crossings. For years the man had been on the road without a valid driving licence, said a police spokesman. The officers confiscated the driver’s license and prohibited the man from continuing the journey. The points account was filled up again and a criminal complaint for driving without a guide SPIEGEL-Online Question: What do you say about this ? this morning I also had a truck driver in front of me again: almost 100 in the 60s construction site on the left track there seem to be guys who don’t give a shit …

  • Behavior at level crossings!

I sometimes experience incredible things at work! For more information: I am a train guide by profession, I say I rank construction trains for track conversions. For such conversions usually a track between two stations is blocked, switch contacts for railway crossings are switched off, so that we can move freely. If such a train has to pass a BÜ, we secure this ourselves, i.e. we drive to stop, the train guide (in this case I) stands on the road… stops the car traffic at and And then I let the train pass. And that’s exactly where I often have the worst problems: 1x I was almost knocked over (a jump saved me), several times I was just turned around and how often I was insulted, what comes to my mind just to lock the road…I can’t count that! Unfortunately, this is not just for me,other colleagues, no matter where,it often goes exactly like that! So dear motorists: If you are approaching a railway crossing (be careful as learned in the FS) and such a one in red dressed male stands there and asks you to hold with a hand sign please remember – it’s no harassment, no courage-provoking and a malicious stop…there’s just someone who wants to do his work and let his shunting department pass the road! Thank you!
