  • if guardrails fail

I have just read about a hospital car that broke through a guardrail and landed in a stream. sure the more than a common passenger car weighs, only I wonder, if a guardrail should not guide and impact should not also prevent a vehicle from breaking through? and how does it get legal, a passenger can make a road traffic office liable in case of a break due to poor maintenance o.æ. if behind the guardrail a Abyss lurks (so something), then the might follow even more important than a few bumps and scrape at the kørper… the ambulance from three perspectives: 1, 2, 3. liebe gruss oli

  • Doors locked because electronics fail in engine fire

Hello, I just read in an article that in a car the engine started to burn. As a result the electronics failed and the driver could neither open windows nor doors – fortunately passers-by came and hit a disc. It was an Audi Coupe – the BJ is unfortunately not mentioned. Can it be that you can’t open the doors and windows with Audis anymore when the electronics fail? Is that also the case with other manufacturers?

  • 150 € penalty for 121 km/h on motorway in Spain

I drove at 11°° on the highway 7 towards Valencia (Spain) on 09.02.2011 with a van VW-Crafter (up to 3,5) — I drove with cruise speed 120 km/h because there was no limitation on this route — I noticed a speed account in the middle of the road — but this did not bother me because I did not drive faster than 120 km/h — after about 2km I was stopped by 2 officers and checked on the stand strip — Vehicle license, driving license — after a short time the officials came back to my vehicle and offered me to drive with this vehicle in Spain only 90km/h and had to pay 150 €. I tried to make it clear to them that nowhere a restriction for transporters up to 3500kg — neither at the entrance from France to Spain nor at toll points — because I had an appointment in Valencia I had to pay to get further finally — with the forwarding company to be supplied nobody knows this 90km/h limit and also at the toll point No one could help me —

  • Trailer transfer from Germany to Austria

My father is thinking of buying a slightly larger car trailer due to price difference in DE. Trailers should be in the range of approx. 2000kg maximum permissible total weight. As a train vehicle there are an Audi A4 Quattro with 1700kg maximum trailer weight or a Kia Sportage with 1800kg if I have it right in mind. As a driver my brother (or I) would act, he has EzB, thus no problem – in Austria: Here there is a change for EzB since 2007: The pulling of trailers, which as the only braking system to have a braking system, is only allowed if the instantaneous maximum mass of the trailer • neither the maximum permissible maximum mass of the towing vehicle (for all-wheeled vehicles the 1.5 times the maximum mass is decisive) • nor exceeds the value specified in the approval! In the past, it was always the maximum permissible total weight. Unfortunately, I find nothing precise about the regulations in Germany, which is now permissible and what is not. And what we absolutely want to avoid is to get probs in Germany because of driving with not suitable train. What I have already found out: We have to get the transfer registration marks in DE, because the Austrians in DE are not valid. And thus we need a third number plate of the train vehicle again, because with different registration state number plate vo My other idea would be: look what the trailer has its own weight, we already have a trailer with a maximum load of 600kg/ maximum permissible total weight of 800kg, which could possibly be enough for this trailer. And then simply strap up the other trailer on it and so “transmit” it.

  • Gull lids, material destroyers in the road network

… so today I have to get rid of my displeasure, and I wanted to see if only I felt it that way. Gulli lids on the streets are basically so stupidly attached to me that they are almost always in the lane of the vehicles. Why??? Either you evade, slalom course…who alerts the police,or always through, beautiful on cover. If the streets are new it may still be possible…when only thousands of 40zig tonners have been pinned through…the lids must be 10cm deeper and sc hon is annoying again. Which law prescribes the situation like this…or the tactics of the road construction companies?Who is going to lose something like this?

  • Police union demands 0.0 promille

I have just seen in the news that the police union demands a promille limit of 0.0. In some EU states, especially in the Eastern Bloc, there is already this already. In addition, you can hardly drink anything for 0.5 promille (1-2 glasses of beer/wine) and half drunk is supposed to be only outcast money. The pizza and pasta at the Italian tastes good even without wine, doesn’t it? Or do you think that so the security would not be increased and only more money washed into the state treasury because many do not want to do without a beer while eating or something like that?

  • is it likely that the renewed rise in oil prices will bring about the next economic crisis?

nice afternoon on everyone’s side ! I know that there is already a thread here regarding the currently very high petrol prices, but I would be interested in your opinion about whether the presumption is obvious, that this re-exploiting of the gasoline prices is only a foretaste of what happened to us already in autumn 2008 and whether it is not even thicker this time ? to notice that the current development is largely triggered by speculators, however, this was already in 2008 the case. in this year, months before the crash, the economy was also high in many industrial companies and you didn’t know how to manage the high calls at all, because all corners of staff were missing. in autumn after that, the decline in the flow to 60%. many unemployed, short-time work, loss of wages, etc. the oil price then stabilized again to the standard level for us. now the same scenario is to be observed. the economy and with it the industry has to ch mostly recovers and makes use of the labour market through various leasing companies, which can record an unprecedented profit. of course, the whole has the advantage for the industry of being able to withdraw unnecessarily needed personnel immediately, should it start to crisis again. but this is a different history and should not be a discussion here. also the state debts of various eu neighboring countries are very worrying, which I consider can never be repaid again. f This is not the case in the United Kingdom, but it is also the case in the United Kingdom, where there is a great deal of uncertainty about the way in which these countries are going to work, and we, as net contributors to the debt system, are also being drawn into the debt system, because our politicians believe, or are dictated from brussels, that we have to save these countries, even though there is almost no money left here. I do not want to grind the devil on the wall here, but ask me how long will this go well until we, too, are faced with the final financial collapse? In the case of the United Kingdom, the Court of Justice has held that the Court of Justice of the European Communities has failed to fulfil its obligations under Article 85 of the EC Treaty.

  • Trafficked world! Track fixation on German roads

I don’t know if it’s the case with others, but if you’ve driven in other countries, you might have noticed: the insistence on driving lanes is completely wrong in this country. 1. City traffic: Who doesn’t know this, three driving lanes in the city, but these change? Only difficult possible. The reason: always come from behind 8!!) other vehicles on the other track and shoot past one. Woe, who pulls over there and contests the other “seien Spur”. Why actually? In urban traffic, speed 50 is usually required for everyone. No one just drives straight through a city, but everyone wants to turn around at some point, i.e. make a lane change. Because of the same speed all (50 km/h) this is no longer dangerous. It only needs the one who wants to change, to flash and the cars on the other track, even if they are almost at the same height, to walk easily off the gas. Already the lane change of the “Vordermann” bee The advantage is that no one sees “the track” as his prerogative. Everyone has understood that everyone wants/must “over” once. Whoever is ahead has an advance. The advantage is that in the Italian principle everyone only needs to look forward. This minimizes the risk of accidents considerably. At the same time observing the back and front traffic overwhelms a lot of drivers and causes unnecessary stress. 2. Autobahn Here the madness works reciprocally analog. A Instead of respecting the tracks here, because regularly and lawfully on the tracks completely different tempi are driven, on the highway the same “track fanatics”, who in the city from behind with 3 km/h over fully keep in their lane and prevent the turning of the front man so, mercilessly pull over with 100 or 120 km/h to the left, although there (fully legal) on the other track a car with 180 km/h drives. Instead here embarrassingly exactly, the track for the sc This is simply illogical and very pronounced in this country. It’s annoying. My suggestion: Dissolve all the tracks. No more lines on the streets. It’s serious. Then everyone would be dependent on thinking more and not thinking in traces.

  • Second sleep – looking for people for TV post

Hello, for a new TV project I am looking for one or two people who have experienced the pitfalls of a second’s sleep. It’s about describing the symptoms (warning sign of the upcoming second’s sleep) and the description of their experience. The article is to be broadcast in a car magazine. Who has ever seen such a thing happen – who has fallen asleep on the steering wheel? Thank you and love greetings Frank

  • Self-imposed markings

Hey, the original license plate just goes way too far with many cars, so I’d like to ask a question about the following scenario: I let one of the many license plates on the internet give me a light-wheel mark, which has the same letters and numbers as my current license plate. I put this on my bumper, but always carry the original license plate with me. I know it’s not legal, but how high would the penalty be if m There are no seals on the new license plate. And the coat of arms of the district can’t just be ordered like that. Thanks for any answers.
