Cologne’s judges have made it clear: When driving up the motorway, it is threaded in, and not scraped in according to the zipper principle. The difference: Traffic on the motorway always has an entrance. Spiegel.de Every day something new. And I always thought: the people who drive up must be made room – whether by braking or evasive. The judgment is legally binding.

Clamp protection with electric window lifters ????
The latest ADAC test in the field of jam protection for electric window lifters has moved me to check if my CV, built in 2007, equipment version Sol, edition model has such a clamp protection. So I have keys in the ignition lock, ignition on, window down, windows up again and fingers in between. Neeeee, neeeee. I didn’t have that much confidence in Toyota. So instead of the finger, I took a carrot, which had to s owieso away. And look there: windows closed, beets divided. Now I am honestly more than disappointed. Since this is a family car and in the back seats actually almost exclusively children sit I would have expected from Toyota just that the rear windows have a clamp protection. For safety reason again in the operating instructions looked, whether there is something there on the topic. And look there, my CV has a clamp protection. Maybe this is not activated. This time with a phone book. And hoppla. The clamp protection works. I’m a little irritated now. If I look at my daughter’s fingers or arms, then I have my doubts as to whether the clamp protection really works. What does it look like with you? Can you say from the grasp whether you have a clamp protection and if yes, if this is the case? is it really activated?

Dealers selling privately
Hello, I have a few acquaintances who have been trading with cars for some time and therefore also earn a lot of money. The best shops do those with the purchase of cars with engine damage, which are then repaired under the hand and then sold privately (without warranty etc.) further, so that margins between 3000 and 5000 Euro are in it, which then are not even taxed. How high is the chance that one is caught thereby? I see little risk but the possibility of money to earn… In general, this is not standard for commercial car dealers? Selling a few cars commercially and otherwise private? Greetings Tom

Photographed on the AB
Hi, yesterday was with my uncle’s GTD and 2 buddies. On the road on the way to the highway there was a team in front of us. A red Scenic and a relatively small hanger with tarpaulin. He drove on the country road only 50 where 100 were allowed, so I wanted to overtake. Was then however too tight, so I broke off the maneuver. Before the overtaking attempt I was quite tight, but after the demolition I let it spring directly again. He is then also on the AB danger There is a combined acceleration and deceleration strip. He drove on the train, I got right down again, because the city I wanted to reach was only over the exit. He also drove quite slowly on the AB (about 70-80) and I overtook him on the right with about 100 on the acceleration strip. Suddenly one of my buddies said “look, the photographer is us!” I didn’t see this, but in any case the woman d It was taken by the driver (I suppose). Question now: Why?

ADAC strongly criticises drivers racing in front of schools
On Tuesday, the ADAC criticized those drivers who did not meet the speed limit of 30 km/h in front of schools. In this context, the Autoclub points out that every 27 minutes a child is covered by a car in Germany. 43,828 vehicles were subjected to speed control in front of schools in ten federal states this spring. It was noted that more than 60 percent of drivers were travelling too fast. a car even measured at 96 km/h. The braking distance already doubles if you drive instead of the allowed 30 km/h 50 km/h. In 2008 alone 68 children died on the way to school.

Contaminants
Hello everybody! I think it’s already happened to each of us that he got excited about other road users in daily traffic. Be it because one was forced by tight driving, lost the fight for the last gap in threading, had to brake strongly, because another just a short time ago pulled out or just missed to drive back on the right track, etc… I think the list is endless, is already going to be out in another thread Big discussions and should not be the topic here at all. Usually such things go well, because we all react firmly and our cars have good brakes. When it comes to crashing, it has to be individually regulated anyway, who hits which guilt. What I always notice is the fact, how quickly one forgets such momentary exciters again. With me it is so that I usually after a few minutes already not think at all about it, because the one about which I have angered The possibility that I will meet this person again in a similar situation, I think, is very unlikely, so I don’t attach much importance to it. I would be interested in what it is like with others. Just get upset and forget or bubbling it for some reason, for whatever reason. Do you even climb in there and take notes or photos? I even read from time to time, then disappear from my field of view. again by people who have installed a camera in the car for such cases. What do they want to achieve with it? Or is there possibly an example of a given display? As I said: I mean quite normal situations, without damage to man or vehicle. The typical “the-show-I-now-but-on-exciter” halts.

Rockfall in the visual area – problem with the TÜV?
Hi, the HU is standing by and I already have an appointment this week, stupidly I have now caught a small rockfall……. I know this in the field of view can not be repaired, since TK should be available the disk renewed, but now I am worried what the TÜV says about it? Is this only a small lack, which I have to fix anyway as quickly as possible, or is there the plate completely denied? Is there a few experience values or hä Does this not depend on the mood of the examiner? I don’t want to have a check-up fee because of this, then I can have the HU done right in the workshop. Here’s a photo of the approximate position and the size ratio is right about as well. http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/3636/steinschlag.jpg

Travel book, handle?
Moin Moin! I would like to know how the possibility of placing a travel book is handled in practice. Since I know pretty much nothing so far, I am interested in pretty much everything from beginning to end. So when is it imposed by the authorities to keep a travel book? Or otherwise: How many and/or how violent violations without finding out the driver takes in practice until this measure is taken? When it comes to this, it is quite clear to me that each individual How, however, is this checked in practice and what blooms if the entries are not exactly correct? Or how exactly do the tangled journeys have to be listed? Tenth-kilometres? Purpose? Start and finish address? Times minute exactly? Which tolerances are given in practice? And: If the driving book is imposed because with always the same of several vehicles of the same holder traffic violations are committed, in which the driver cannot find I know this is quite a lot of questions, but it would be nice if someone could tell me from the practice. Dear Greetings Meehster

Most absurd TÜV defects;-)
Hello, so I don’t know if I’m the only one but I just came up with a topic here. I wanted to put together some of the most absurd TÜV defects. I really ask myself sometimes what some oh so great engineers have gone into the beet. With such “minds” you really have to doubt the credibility. But discuss brings nothing! Here only flaws should be posted, so flaws because you don’t pass the exam. No clues. I start with! Golf 2, year 89 Lack: missing pole cap cover of the battery, cable hangs down in the engine compartment, cable lambda probe easily insulated! Corsa A, year 90 Lack: door hinge broken out (when opening the door went down a few mm!

False parking in private underground garage
Good evening dear Forians, there is currently a little nuisance with us. One or more owners place their registered cars with us in the underground car park illegally on the lane (without concrete obstruction of others). The owners are not to be found. The question is what I can do as a parking lot owner in the respective object. May I commission a towing company and let the car to their yard? If the car owner(s) would then be Chaden replacement in the amount of towing and storage costs? Thank you for your answers!
