  • T-Cross Discover Media determines shark or 20cm antenna?

Hello, when I looked at some cars on the farm at the dealer’s house, I noticed the T-Cross. Nice part and there I wanted to see what the internet has for offers. Now I always find some with such a long outdoor antenna, but I don’t want to, but a shark antenna installed by factory. Nix from Amazon, if necessary it should be taken back into payment in a few years. Otherwise I would have found a lot at Google, that was then a Since I see here and there that time this long antenna is installed and with another one a shark antenna is installed, I ask myself: What is this? Where is this determined, whether shark antenna or not? I also know only “Composition Media”, “Discover Media” and “Discover Pro” as infotainment. But now I have heard in a review that there is also a “Discover Media Navigation”. Is that true? or babbling? Thank you very much

  • Purchase advice Leasing: Volkswagen Taigo 1.0 TSI OPF 85 kW R-Line incl. W&I or CITROוN C4 MAX

Hello together, in advance, I really have no idea of cars and therefore urgently need help. My current car does not make it long and the TÜV ends June 2024. Now I need a car and would like to lease it. I have come across two offers that are both suitable for me:TAIGOCitroen C4 Max Both cost about 180€ per month. With the Citroen there is no maintenance & inspection. I have a daughter and my husband drives a VW T-Roc R-Line. Which of the two Ange Where could the insurance be more expensive? Which car offers a better price/performance? Which car will be more expensive in maintenance? Which will consume more fuel? I will only use the car for city traffic and rarely drive longer distances. I thank you in advance for your opinions. LG Lulu

  • Has the 1.5 been improved?

Hi there, I’m really excited about our new Taigo R-Line 1.5l DSG. It exceeds my expectations in many points. What I find very striking is the considerably better response of the engine. For years I’ve driven various Golf 7 and also Golf 8 with the 1.5er 150 hp model and DSG and was annoyed by the significantly time-delayed reaction time (also known as “DSG memory science”). Especially in connection with the start/stop automatic it often took quite a long time. This is now completely different with the Taigo! After a very short time it simply starts to react. From my point of view a completely different driving experience and very striking. At some point (two years ago?) the 1.5 was revised. Was the topic of DSG memory customer “optimized” here perhaps?

  • T-Cross: Too little PS?

Hi together, since I think about buying a T-cross instead of a T-roc because of the “good” price, would be interesting to me: Is the T-cross with 116ps at approx. 1.2 tons to “weak” / has too little power? I was advised to grab the larger 150ps variant T-ROC, “so that I come from the spot”. I drive to 95% only city, longer rides on the highway are rather a rarity, Offroad anyway not. Because a relatively good equipment (List price VW configurator) with the T-cross would cost significantly less than with the T-ROC, my focus is rather on the T-cross. I also like the increased sitting position in the T-cross (compared to the T-Roc). What do you think?

  • Menu “Open and Close” is not available

How can you call the menu “Open and Close” at the T-Cross, if the message “The function is not available at the moment” appears continuously? Thus, the function for opening the windows can not be set for my vehicle. In the encodings the corresponding parameter (ENG148616-ENG149201-ZV Comfort (window lifter)-Funk_Comfort_oeffnen,aktiv ,7) is already set right from the factory. So far all attempts with user change, privacy settings, Zweitschl Unfortunately, even my VW workshop could not help.

  • T-Cross: hands-free device loses connection to mobile phone

Hello together At the end of last year I had to get a new (used) car, because a red light lighter shot my beloved Ford together.. The choice (didn’t have much choice) much then on a T-Cross 1.5 Bj 2022 In the beginning the hands-free device with my Samsung S22 Ultra worked excellently. However, for about a month it does cause considerable problems. Constantly the car loses the hands-free connection to the mobile phone, apps (Spotify & Google Maps) work wall-to-wall free. It comes in some minutes “Mobile phone has lost the connection” (music runs on via app). I’m not quite sure, but it started as an update for the T-Cross. Or when the We Connect Plus went out? Much so simultaneously together. Have the mobile phone been disconnected from the car several times, the Android software de/reinstalled, cache deleted, etc.. no improvement. Does anyone have the same problem? Is there any remedy? Is it on the We Connect P. lus and I have to buy it again? Thanks for possible answers

  • Taigo Lane Assist ACC Question

Moin people, we recently have a Taigo as a company car. He has among others Lane Assist and ACC with VZ detection. With the newer VW we are practically ignorant. Have driven for years only Audi. Two questions: 1) The ACC overwrites my attitude at each traffic sign. I hire 75, there comes a 70 sign, attitude is overwritten. I hire 85, it comes free, although I want to drive still only 85, my attitude is overwritten and it goes to 100. In my opinion, too soon before the next sign is braked and gas is only given much too late after the sign again. Every normal person drives with 55-60 into the place and accelerates 50m before the exit sign again. Can you change it somehow or code it. In the Fzg settings I found nothing about it 2) The Lane Assist is rather a lane warning. Keep track does not really make it. We have the system in the Audi A4 and there the actively keeps the track mitt e. Do you only have to keep your finger on the steering wheel on long motorway stages and can drive like this forever without really having to steer. Is this a matter of equipment or is this system not available at VW? Can I encode something freely? Because ahrdware moderately has everything it needs for an Audi-like Lane Assist, the implementation is only on the software side. Question 2.5, Is there any information about what can be coded freely with VCDS or the like?

  • Start Stop does not work

Hello, my T Cross 1.0 116 hp with DSG has had the problem that the start stop no longer works for about 6 months. Furthermore, I have a much higher fuel consumption than before. 6 weeks ago I was in a VW workshop for inspection. They said the speed of the training course was too high, they set it. Furthermore, the particle filter had to be burned free. The battery meter also indicated that it should be charged. This was also done. After that it had 5 days wall-mounted The daily driving distance is at least 30 km, we refuel Super E5. Even with a 300 km drive over motorways the start stop did not work. The consumption is constantly at least 7.5 liters, sometimes higher. At the beginning the car was satisfied with 6.5 liters at most. Today I was therefore again in the AH. One said I should change the winter tires, that drives the consumption up. There was never an error message either. Also a marten bite is not visible. I should continue driving and watch how it is with summer tires. I feel fooled by the AH and not taken seriously. Does someone have similar experiences and can someone say what this can be all about?

  • T-Cross vs. Taigo vs. T-Roc

With T-Cross, Taigo and T-Roc, VW offers three entry-level SUVs with different appearances but similar features without a large price difference. But besides the optics, there are still significant differences. 1. Processing Here, the Taigo cuts off best (ADAC-Note 2.6), the T-Roc has improved with the Facelift (ADAC-Note 2.9), but material quality and price do not fit together. It looks even worse with the T-Cross. On door frame cover and double door seals h At VW, only hard, simple plastic is installed inside (ADAC note 3.3). Here, only the Faclift expected for mid 2023 is likely to provide a remedy. 2. Headlights While Taigo and T-Roc have LED headlights as standard and offer matrix LED headlights at an additional cost, the T-Cross has as standard only “moderate halogen light”, LED headlights are available at an additional cost. Only after the facelift the T-Cross should pull right here. In all three SUVs, the seats are comfortable, while T-Cross and Taigo offer even more headroom than the T-Roc. 4. Room offer at the rear The T-Roc is fitted here. If the front seat is set to 1.85 m tall, the knee clearance in the T-Roc is only sufficient for 1.80 m large persons. In T-Cross and Taigo, however, the persons with a size of 1.90 m have sufficient head and knee clearance. odelles fit a maximum of 7 beverage crates in the trunk. According to ADAC measurement method, the T-Cross 310 l fits between the loading floor and the cargo compartment cover, the Taigo 370 l, the T-Roc 375 l, the roof height is 410 l or 455 l or 465 l. The loading edge lies at the T-Cross 72 cm above the road, at the Taigo 76 cm, at the T-Roc 77 cm.

  • Winter tyres Complete wheels with rims (17″)

Good afternoon, am looking for complete wheels for my Taigo 85kW ( 116PS ) 205/55 R17 91V. My first question would be: Order on the internet or at the Hander on site? 2. Which Internet dealers are serious? Need a few pages suggestions, but only with configurator. Since I can’t assess which rims fit to which tires. Favored tyres => Continental WinterContact TS 870 Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3 Dunlop Winter Sport 5 now I still need the possibility combine these with visually fallen tires. Friendly greetings
