  • Navi and T-Cross

A question about the Navi (Discover-Media or Discover-Pro) in the T-Cross. What about map updates? Are you free of charge over the entire ownership period of the car? How often do updates appear? How good is the navigation itself? Is the display fluid or jerky? In other words: comparable to iPad? Can it show the traffic jams and blockings (like Google Maps)? What’s the difference between the above mentioned and Ready2Discover – apart from the fact that it doesn’t seem the last one yet? Since I wrote in another thread that I don’t need a navigator: it’s still like that, only my wife thinks it’s not bad to have one in the car.

  • Configuration useful? Just before ordering

Moin. I’m just about to order a T-cross (leasing, but it doesn’t matter for now). Ask me if this makes sense or if I absolutely need anything or there is too much in it. Ideas, suggestions, tips? Config-ID is the VZ3LSYHN. Am a) not 100% safe with the color yet. Blue? Grey? Black? Have not seen it in smoke grey yet, stupidly. The “Design package “Black” incl. light metal wheels “Cologne” in black/glossy turned” I actually only got inside so that I didn’t have to buy a T-cross (leasing, but doesn’t matter). The rim wouldn’t have needed it at all, 17″ would be even better. But, at least in the online configurator, it doesn’t seem possible. I don’t know about the “IQ.DRIVE” package either … Digital Cockpit Pro, “do I need it”? Basically, I like a “classic” cockpit, but I think it’s nice to have more information there. Music tracks (spotify), Navi or Navi- Displays (TomTom via Car Play) – that’s not possible with the “normal” cockpit, right? If it is, I would actually like the “Automatic distance control ACC up to 210 km/h and emergency brake assistant “Front Assist” instead of the IQ. Thanks already.

  • New T-Cross; Activate Navi

Hello and Moin, I once again enjoyed a new car, mostly after the warranty has expired!!! I had a Tiguan II last, was very satisfied with it. 2 days ago I got my T-Cross, actually I wanted a T-Roc. Because of the semiconductor problem there are no more sooo many cars. Then I looked around in the car house and fell in love with a T-Cross, with AHK, automatic, Navi …!I find the T-Cross very nice car now! And around the Navi go My salesman in the car dealership then groped around picking up the nav to activate it along with my cell phone. Then, however, the 2nd ignition key fehhte, he could not activate me as the main user, but said that I could also do it at home. Now the seller is on vacation. I could then register at home as the main user, and that’s all I could do and I can’t find an option to activate the nav in this stupid shop. Only where there??? I find nothing. Can someone please help me how to get there. Actually I wanted to go to HH in 1 week, but without Navi it doesn’t work. And please have some patience with me, I’ve had a bad 4.5 years behind me and had to endure a lot of suffering, can’t always answer immediately. Despite my age I’m still good at it, but I’ve recognized my limits here!!! I want to have my old Navi back again, …start, enter destination, and Let’s go! Thank you very much in advance …

  • Purchase with accident damage, will the TÜV complain about this?

Hello together, I’m thinking about buying a T-cross, which seems to have an accident damage. I once attached a picture of the damage. Doesn’t look so bad at first? Is it likely that the TÜV will find a problem here? So, for example, the frame could be bent? I would be very grateful for your opinion.

  • T-Cross equipment

Hello, I’m new to this forum and I’m interested in a VW-T cross as a new vehicle. I sold my previous car, a MB 320 CLK convertible today (everything has its time, I’ve driven convertibles for 20 years now …) and I want to buy – you get older – a car that is more comfortable for me at the seat height. My wife drives a Mercedes B250 and I feel the seat height there when boarding and driving is very appealing. I find a T-cross as a nice and h andlebares car, you sit a little higher, – according to the information from VW – so great. What I lack with a equipment with the VW-T cross in the R-variant is however a sliding roof. How do you rate this model here in the forum? Is this for older people?

  • TAIGO – Central armrest not horizontally lockable

Hello together, my wife is thinking about getting a TAIGO – nice car… BUT: Unfortunately, the armrest is just too low for me as a man when I take it off. Does anyone have any idea if I can “rebuild” a locking device with 2 or 3 positions from another model? I know this from the VW New Beetle or my Audi B7…

  • Taigo 1.5 TSI OPF R-Line DSG Tips from you

Hello together, we will soon get the Taigo, he has a lot of extras. I already had the opportunity to drive as a rental car, when on Monday our golf was at the service. What a tip, you can give me for the beginning, because some systems are new to me and I am happy to use them. For example, I noticed that the ambient lighting with logo projection does not throw any logo on the ground, but only a pattern, can you adjust that ?? – He also has the navigation system ” Discover Pro” incl. “Streaming & Internet”, what must be considered, or set ?? – for what is the Electronic Differential Lock XDS ??? etc…… I look forward to your answers and tips

  • Taigo steering wheel worn

Hello Group, after only 2 weeks my steering wheel of the Taigo has the wear symptoms shown in the pictures. Can this be normal? The car is driven completely normal and I also carry neither rivet pants nor chain shirt. I admit, however, that steering wheel has already touched several times; often in curves and the like. Hope not to have caused too much wear. VW, by the way, rejects any guarantee for this, with the reference to itself indebted Facts. After 2 weeks… I think so too… .

  • T-Cross – Style or a level below sufficient?

Hello, I am now in the last phase and am about to acquire the T-cross. It will probably be a leased vehicle that has to be ordered, as there is nothing suitable in stock. Reason: I want the next few years with regard to the changing mobility and here above all engine technology, to bind myself no longer in the long term to a vehicle. If I buy a vehicle now, I have to expect even higher value losses with a petrol engine, unless I drive it for a very long time, what I nic I have already some offers, in terms of the style, which is very well equipped: In addition to the series: • IQ DRIVE package including various Assist systems incl. Digital Cockpit Pro etc. • Connection guarantee after 2 years additional 2 years, i.e. 4 years warranty incl. , 4 inspections • Navigation system Discover Media • Rear camera Rear View • Light and vision package • Full-year tire • 18 Inch Alufelgen Would this additional equipment be more reasonable with Life, or would there be too many to do without? I care about the distance warning at the front and back, the darkened rear windows. The foldable passenger seat, Leaving & Coming Home function etc. How are your experience, even with regard to a leased vehicle? Would the first time I lease something, otherwise always basically cash. Greeting

  • Navigation at the VW Taigo?

Hi, my Seat Ateca is now 3 years old and I’m thinking about getting a new car. I like the TAIGO very much. Would I also be enough. But what I don’t check is the navigation system? At one dealer it’s ONLY about the mobile phone (Google Maps) and at the other it’s about Discover Media what would be like with the VW Golf e.g. what’s right? At my Ateca the MIB3 is installed which works absolutely great (with real-time navigation). Is this in T AIGO also installed ?
