  • Beta RR 450 on the road

Hey motorcycle friends Since I’m driving on endouro/motorcross bikes, I wanted to get a BETA RR 450 bj: 2012 4T soon. Would you like to drive 70% road and 30% offroad. I would just throw on such “mixed tires” instead of the stubble tires (because of the dimension of the cross rims). My concern is now only, does the motor hold out the long roads of the Dahrten? is rather designed for gas, brakes, gas, brakes… endouro halt… second, there would be the sitting comfort, how is that, does the most valuable hurt after a while? please help, event. experiences? lg MadBean

  • Teams?

Hello, I’ve fulfilled a dream and re-imagined the A-shape My own moped is only giving it next year at the earliest, so I’ve got time to info myself a little… Somehow fascinating I find a team, I’ve looked around the local market but somehow I find almost only vintage cars… Teams under 10 I found actually only from 2 brands, Harley, but they are too expensive and now not so my taste, and Ural, which I like from looks but somehow until now Is there no other manufacturer? I’m ready to screw something, have people with screwdriver experience in the family, but actually I want something more reliable, so I don’t want a vintage car (which is not cheap in good condition either). What about Ural with the reliability? like this from the year 2002? Can you recommend other manufacturers to me?

  • Hyosung Image ??

Hi guys. I just wanted to ask you how the image of Hyosung actually is, especially in Germany. A friend of mine likes a GT650R. In the foreground was actually the V2 and the good look, less the price. I myself am somewhat skeptical of Hyosung. Personally it would be no matter if it became a hyosung or not. –It should not be about the characteristics of a hyosung here now, which were amazingly good at his test drive.– Now a Is it possible to get a look at it with a hyosung? How do the Japanese, Italo and Ami drivers react to such a machine, e.g. on a motorcycle meeting? I heard very little about it here in Germany. Does it mean something like: A Hyo what? Such a cheap Asian motorcycle, is a copy, or does it have no money for a real motorcycle. Or are the reactions quite different: Looks good!, sometimes something else!?? I don’t want to give him a purchase decision. I just want to know if Hyosung is stamped as a cheap brand or is recognized as a full-fledged brand. Experiences of Hyosung drivers (if there are any here) would interest me most. Another special question to the Ducatisti: What do you think of a hyosung? Thank you for your opinions and answers! Greetings

  • 3 years of service life, engine oil still good, tyres still usable

Hello, I have a Hyosung Ga 125 Cruise II standing here, which does not start after about 3 years of service. Tank is slightly rusted inside (old petrol I already drained and 2l new clean filled), carburettor is totally dirty – I have just lying in the petrol bath. The oil was renewed 3 years ago. I checked the oil level; was ok and also the oil on the measuring tab looked “fresh and clear”. The profile of the tires is still impeccable. Since I finally have too little idea of the M aterie has, here my questions: Does the oil have to be changed after 3 years of service? What is the risk if this does not happen? Do the tires have to be changed (motor bike was standing on the main stand in a garage)? Does the brake fluid have to be changed? Or is this all not necessary and it is enough a carburettor and tank cleaning? I simply lack the background to assess such things and I would be grateful for some helpful comments.

  • Simson S51 – Engine always goes off

Hello community, I have a huge problem with my Simson S51 Bj 1987 with only 3650km (state practically new): I have to drive about 3km, after that the engine suddenly has dropouts, which increase within a few hundred meters more, which at the end results in that the engine simply runs out (and can not be started again so quickly). I just don’t know what to do anymore, I have tried the following so far: -Zündkerze renewed, looks also rehbraun a us -Carburettor screwed apart, cleaned, but everything works perfectly, swimmer is smooth, etc -interruptors measured, the 0,4mm are kept but the problem only occurs if the engine is really warm, in cold condition it runs perfectly. Please help me! I also need the Simme to get to my job this weekend… Thanks already to everyone!

  • Coupling/MZ 500 R

Hello MZ-Reiter, I’ve been re-entering for three months. With my MZ 500 R the clutch bowden train is torn. Question:Is the clutch housing divided,or do I have to dismantle the combined cam control unit to change the Bowden train? Who can recommend me suitable literature for hobby screwdrivers?

  • Jincheng Q50, Honda Chaly replica!

Hello municipality, I have such a vehicle standing with me (Jincheng Q50) and want to wake it up and rebuild it. Have already spent hours in the net to get any spare parts for this vehicle, but without success. Was sold/sold by the practitioner DIY market! Are there now also parts of Honda, possibly replica parts? The engine is a Lizens replica, is a 4 gear semi-automatic transmission. What oil is needed in the engine? Especially would I be interested, where do you get papers for it? Or do I have to use it to get new ones, if that is still possible. For the scrap the vehicle is defensively too bad, because it is still quite top there. Thank you for your efforts & answers.

  • Air brakes SYM 300i from 2015. I’m going crazy soon.

Hello together and first of all love thanks for the support and for the possibility here to present my problem. To me I am 55 and have screwdriver experience. I have restored cars and already aired the brakes on various vehicles. So not quite inexperienced at least as far as old vehicles are concerned. To my problem: I replaced the brake pads at the front of a two piston brake (two brake hoses on the caliper ) on my SYM Roller 300i from 2015 with 29 hp. Trying to ventilate on the old way has failed. Talk about pumping handles and turning them again at the bottom at times. Strangely, although I have only changed in the front, there is no pressure on the brake at the back. Second attempt with vacuum device even without success. I have read something about a brake distributor in the net. I know where this is. It is a scooter and it is very bad to reach and see. Well, now I’m a bit perplexed and need a hot tip.

  • Zip with Sfera engine. The thing pulls off like the fire brigade, BUT the cold start…

Hey guys, yes, the cold start makes me a little thought. What happens to my zip at the cold start? So the first 400 to 600 meters comes on X tours, but then leaves behind for about 3 seconds, power goes slightly back, so no big power / speed loss and it comes right back after the 3 seconds and reaches at least the tours he had before. That feels like 10 times until he is warm. He is throttled and comes cold only to about 20 k m/h, then after a few times back and forth s.O. he builds up speed, until he can reach warm after 400 – 600 meters on long straights 35 up to 37 km/h according to Tacho. If he has run so warm, he runs constant, powerful, reliable and I am satisfied. Is this really a normal cold start? You know, I have already driven several 2strokes under Puch Maxis and of course it is clear that the engines have to run warm first in order to be able to achieve their performance. I don’t think I can remember such a cold start that I have now and I am more interested in why. Perhaps still interesting for the answer: The Sfera engine is only in there because of engine damage of the original. When I was looking for an engine from May to August, I got only one of the Sfera that fits into the vehicle, the Vario fits, all wonderful. With the engine pistons and cylinders, as well as its transmission were supplied. The rest i On the test drive the engine ran only 50km/h, then I took the gas away, because I definitely drive without a driving license. I insisted on a (after) throttling, therefore a thicker sleeve was used by the workshop for throttling. Only then did the scooter reach the mentioned speeds. Which will not get me into trouble with the cops. I’m looking forward to constructive answers A nice Sunday to all of you
