  • 2 cylinders vs 4 cylinders

Hello people Have bought me an Aprilia Falco SL 1000 with 118 hp. Hellish thing I only saw. Nevertheless, I take wonder like such a 2 cylinder machine cut off against a 4 cylinder. Is the 2 cylinders comparable to an R1 or GSX-R or do the 4 cylinders Japanese go better? Where is the difference best to feel?

  • Suzuki, Kawasaki or Honda

HI leutz. I would like to get a motorcycle soon but I can’t quite decide. I wanted to buy a used bike which didn’t run all too much and has a good condition (no scratches )! I plan to invest between 4,000€ – 5,000€. The following factors play a role.. Price,Performance,Year of construction,Km,Condition No.1 Suzuki SV 650 S (Fully lined ) New price: 6.290€ 645 cm3 / 90° V2-cylinder four-stroke engine 53 kW (72 hp) at 9,000 min-1* / 64 Nm at 7,200 min-1 G You get the between 4,000-5.000 with partly under 5,000km relatively current year of construction. Picture:http://img509.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bild2lw9.gif Nr.2 Honda CBR 600RR New price: 10.790€ 88kw (120hp) / 13500 Max. torque, Nm at 1/min 66 / 11250 Liquid-cooled four-cylinder?four-stroke?series engine with controlled catalyst, 16 valves DOHC Used unfortunately slightly more expensive around the 4,000-5.000€ there are only 2000-2002 models & with 30,000-40,000Km. 4.imageshack.us/my.php?image=123ua2.jpg Nr.3 Kawasaki ZX-6R New price: more than 10,000€ 599 cm3 91.9 kW (125 hp) at 14.000 rpm Max. torque: 66 Nm at 11.700 rpm Used unfortunately also slightly more expensive because very few offers between 45.000€ older models and more run.. Picture:http://img160.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pic1hh7.jpg What would you advise me to do? Do you have any other bikes on offer that could be very interesting for me? I find the Suzuki SV 650S already from the design and price L Eistungsverhältnis real lace at least with full cladding and a few beauty corrections (blinker, mirror, cover, no sign holding, rear lights, heck hocherlegung.. ) but that can be done gradually. The only drawback is actually the 72hp although that should be neat for me as the beginning moped The Honda and Kawasaki I find also very nice only unfortunately harder in the price class to find and just older and much more run?

  • Call: Please sign this petition!

Hello people, I picked up this call in the team forum and wanted to ask you to sign this petition. It’s about raising the permitted maximum speed for motorcycles and/or teams from up to now max. 60 km/h to 80 km/h. That would also be a contribution to road safety, as one mutates with 60 to the traffic barrier… Here’s the link:http://itc.napier.ac.uk/…/view_petition.asp?PetitionID=293 Greeting, Martin.

  • Change in translation

Have a question about changing the translation: Have I read here many times that if you can change the final speed/acceleration with the sprockets and sprockets, then the acceleration/final speed is better in all aisles with such a change, right? What I actually wanted to know: Can’t you insert larger gears in the gearbox so that only 1 or 2 gears can be translated longer? (e.g. if you only have a higher final speed h) Is this possible and how much does it cost if you have parts of the gearbox replaced? Are you even buying larger wheels? I heard working on the gearbox is quite expensive and expensive. I hope you understand everything, thank you already for the answers! Mfg. Comerz

  • Ms Ts250

Hello, I miss an area of MZ :-), I have an MZ TS250/1 built in 1980 from GDR times. The following question. The motorcycle was converted to a three-phase light engine 12V. I broke the DC controller. For about 60 Euro it is a bit too expensive for me. It is a Czech product and would cost about 19 Euro there. Can anyone help me with a schematic? Then I would build it myself. The performance would have to lie around the 110W. Greeting Michael

  • Zündapp KS 80 to 125cc???

  • 2-stroke fan is looking for interesting modern 4-stroke second motorcycle !

Hello, as a fan of 2-strokes (Yamaha RD 350 31K) I am still looking for a “more modern” second motorcycle. Since there are no new 2-strokes with road registration, I am looking for an interesting 4-stroker around the 50-60 hp, possible high speed, super sound and good seating position (sportsman, nakedbike or supermoto). I am overwhelmed with the offer on the market and hope for some good tips here! Greeting Peter

  • Tyres for Aprilia RS 125`96

Servus, the mature ones on my box are already a bit older (h 07 v 02). The TÜV’ler meant that they are still ok, they are enough for profile depth, but I think I should do something new up. Mounted is: Currently mounted is Dunlop Sportmaxx D204 Rear 150/60 ZR 17 Front 110/70 ZR 17 In the vehicle license is also the size: 110/80 ZR 17 What is the difference between the 70s and 80s height when driving? Alternatively I can also drive V 100/80 H 130/70 What would be the difference between the 70s and 80s height when driving? the front / downside of the small pairing? I was last with the “local” tyre freckle, but he unfortunately had no plan of motorcycle tyres. So now these questions: 1. Should I change the tyres due to age, at least in the front? 2. Which tyre types would be good tyres? I was completely satisfied with the mounts. 3. Request for illumination or the possible tyre cross-sections and tyre pairings. 4. Good and Günster tyre dealer / Montör Munich or East of Munich. : RS125 bj 96 18 kw. Driving profile: Cityhopper, excavator seacarrier and rarely a small alpine tour. Thank you!
