  • Tell your car story!

Hello dear car fans! First of all a big praise to all of you! I find this forum really good here, here there is competence as well as heartblood! I would find it super exciting if you told here your very personal car CV! What did you drive so far, in what condition were the cars, when you acquired them, what were the selection criteria, how did you have with them? Look forward to every answer!

  • Medium class

The magazine Auto Verkehrsverkehr has made it happen, now I want us to do it in this forum. The current middle class offers more than just Passat and C-Class. It has now become a class in which the size of the cars has grown so far that they can go through as real family carriages. The engines have become so strong that you can have really sporty fun with it. The advances in the technology are also hardly behind give your opinion on such vehicles as Alfa 156, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Citroen C5, Ford Mondeo, Jaguar X-Type, Lancia Lybra, Lexus IS, Mazda 6, Mercedes C, Mitsubishi Galant, Nissan Primera, Opel Vectra, Peugeot 406, Renault Laguna, Rover 75, Saab 93, Skoda Superb, Toyota Avensis, Volvo S/V40, Volvo S60, VW Passat

  • Used diesel for 40,000km per year

Hey, I’m looking for a used diesel on behalf of my girlfriend, who takes her to work every day 67km and 67km back home. If you don’t add work paths you’re at 40,000km a year. The car should last for 5 years, so you can still take 200,000km. So she can’t get around a diesel. Because her budget is limited. 700€ max. (with building pain) 8000. Is the selection not that big. I’ve already informed myself about some models very much. Polo 9N3 1.4 TDI (motor is not necessarily recommended for mileage) Polo 9n3 1.9 TDI/SDI (often very expensive to buy if you are looking for less than 100,000km) Golf V 1.9 TDI (in the Tüvreport super, but very expensive to buy) Renault Clio/Twingo 1.5 dci (not a bad car in itself, but I heard the electronics often makes trouble, drive the Megane 3 1.9 dci) Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdci (same problem w he with the Polo 1.4 TDI, In the Tüvreport very good at it) Ford Fiesta 1.6 tdci (good engine etc, so far in the narrow selection, however, the selection is very limited!) Toyota Yaris I 1.4 Diesel (in the Tüv report super cut!) however also not fault-free, if you catch one who has gone through all defects, surely the best small car diesel? Skoda Fabia (no info, but think like Polo) Seat Ibiza (no info, but think like Polo) Seat Leon (no info, but think like Golf) Seat Altea (no info, but think like golf) Which car would you recommend to my friend? At the moment we tend to Toyota Yaris I to 60tkm or Yaris II to 90tkm (in Q-3 the Yaris III appears, maybe then the prices fall? However, we would prefer the Ford Fiesta with the 1.6 engine and low mileage to the Yaris, but only very small offer. We would buy a Golf V 1.9 TDI up to 125,000km already. However, I do not know how maintenance intensive the Gölf e are, had a Golf 3 GT and so only trouble at the end Maybe you can help us to decide Greeting Andreas

  • Still no car in sight!!!

Still looking for a suitable car! My decision-making joy leaves much to be desired. In the meantime I tested a VW New Beetle and I’m quite impressed with the car. I didn’t buy it because the little friend was a little wet under the spare wheel after the big rain. Is that a small weakness with the bullets? The seller said it could only be the seal of the tailgate, as lamps etc had no connection to the trunk. The idea of an A-Class 180 is still in the room, but somehow I am attached to VW. The Golf V is slowly getting back into the thinking again. How is the interval of the timing belt change with those? The golfs/s/e that come into the closer selection usually ran between 75000 and 100000km. And my driving performance is at 24000km a year! What is your opinion/experience?! What would you decide?!!

  • My first car?

Hello guys. Since I will soon be 18 and have my driver’s license already in my pocket, I wanted to inform myself what I will be driving soon Since it seems to me that many car connoisseurs are driving around in this forum, I have created a topic here. I have following (unfortunately God) problems. 1. I have no plan of cars 2. I am very picky, although I have only a maximum of 4500 euro buget (personal pech). 3. I earn in the month (because of training 1. Lehrja hr / Versicherung) “only” 630 Euro. I tried to inform myself as far as I can. Since I am interested in sports cars (not too round, not too square) and also noticed something about the price, the following cars were in my eye: Numbero 1: http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… Numbero 2. /not so my favourite http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… Numbero 3. http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… Numbero 4. http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails .html?… Numbero 5. http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… Numbero 6. http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… and Numbero 7. http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… So that you’re looking for something about what I’m looking for. And as I said, I don’t have a plan of cars, I just see “beautiful” and “not beautiful” ^^ I hope you can tell me what’s right for me..

  • Engine shutdown delay???????

Hello community, recently in Switzerland have had an Impreza WRC in front of me, the owner got out of the car, shut down and the engine ran estimated 3 minutes further before he shut down himself. Does anyone of you know what part that is that I have to install???? Of course, for all older turbo vehicles the Turbo is not a good thing. I am grateful for every answer and hope to find the part. • Rear drive or four wheel in the snow on the mountain?

Hi, my parents have a small hut in the mountains. Access road is actually always covered with snow/ice. Since the driving fun on the piece is not to be missed (driften) am I thinking about what is better now? – Rear wheel drive without electrics with 75% lamellasSparrow e.g. BMW e36 – Allrad ala Subaru WRX STi or a Lancer EVO In how far can you get the mountain with the 1st variant well up? To cross-country it is guaranteed better, but probably only if it is flat? In how far can you reach the mountain with the 1st variant? the four-wheelers change the distribution? Only max. rear wheels and ifs never progresses ever more direction front? Are there locks for the al-wheelers? Do narrow tires bring great advantages with a version? Thank you

  • Infiniti FX 30d Premium WINTERREIFEN

Hello Infiniti FX driver, I’ve been doing the good thing for about 6 months now and – of course 🙂 – I’m happy every morning if I can get into this beautiful car. However, I’m beginning to panic when I think about the winter tires…. How do you do that? Do you buy directly from Infiniti? Or somewhere else? What do you do and what “pulls” do you have? In the cold season I can live well with tires that can’t drive 240. I would be very happy to have a few Ti If I show up in a workshop as a woman with this car and without any “maturation”, then the eurons are shining in the eyes of the sellers and I get some nonsense. I would like to avoid that. If I can answer questions about this dream car – always like. But with tires I don’t have it so 😉 Best regards, Amrei

  • Urgent Question about Expiration after Accident

Hello, I hope that I am right here in the forum. My parking car was striped by another car. The person called the police and passed on his data to them, they then informed me about the accident. The opposing insurance did not inform me of any damage number. She would like to contact the causer first. However, I should already have a cost estimate made and report to them. However, my workshop advised me The report would have to pay the insurance. Now I read in the forum of “debt question clarified”. Is the debt question solved automatically, if the victim informs the police or I would have to have the debt certificate given to me by the insurance company, BEFORE I have the report prepared, in order not to have to remain at the expense, if there is a rejection by opposing reinforcements ? The opposing insurance company said that it would be a new customer, where the data has not yet been collected. However, a cover commitment had already been given to the causer of the accident. I don’t want to do anything wrong, so I would be happy about your answers and experiences. It is about a VW Multivan Startline, built in 2009. The workshop estimates the costs roughly at about 6,000 euros. One last question: The impairment is certainly calculated by the Warkstatt. W ie is it with the loss of use compensation, if no rental car is taken, will this be paid automatically due to the report or only if the car actually stays in the workshop? Thank you

  • rollers with pierced coupling

I roll in front of traffic lights or signposts with speed limit hæufig a few hundred meters with pierced clutch and wanted to ask if this hurts the car in any way!? as long as I let the clutch fully penetrate, it is as if I switched into the empty run hætte, right!? I only thought that possibly weariness could occur ønnnt, since the clutch is also sensitive enough to recognize a foot placed on it… 😉 dear greeting, oli
