  • Oil spray for windows

A friendly hello in the round I just try it, although my concern has so absolutely nothing to do with car ́s. I hope that here some corresponding experts are active or read along. I want to lubricate the mechanics of my plastic windows and look for an appropriate oil for it. Can I take an x-any oil spray or should this be a special product. Hope a window builder / assembler can tell me something and thank me in advance. Greetings rudi

  • Search lip seal catalog, manufacturer etc.

Hello screwdriver, I’m looking for this gasket, that has to be a standard part? I need different variants, so I’d like to have a salesman who has more of it in the program and shares the data. Such seals are actually installed everywhere, among others in pistons, various coffee machines, gasket CO2 adapters, etc. But often the dimensions are not present and I need them oil-resistant. In short : I would like an overview of available dimensions, also a design catalog, since I have a The outer diameter is about 24mm (to illustrate the size ratios). The thing runs under ‘conical lip seal’. THANK YOU for a tip!

  • Is there a reasonable (hobby) paint gun set around 60-70€

Hello! As the title already says, I am looking for a useful paint gun set up to ~ 60-70€. Up to now I had always used either spray can (for small parts) or a VOYLET professional pistol of a friend paintr, depending on what should be painted and how big. Since this however is spoiled I would like to buy now a own. Compressor etc are available. Have found ebay e.g. this HVLP pistol set from BGS. A small and a large would be ideal for my e Purposes. What to think about it, and there are better (not necessarily more expensive) alternatives/brands? At BGS the spirits do differ a little… Buying even cheaper is certainly not the best decision,or? Should be dense and not spit. Do not want to paint permanently but it is always something to laugh, and then it should look useful. I also think that I am a bit spoiled/was from the VOYLET Pro pistol, and has to do cuts what the result s/handling concerns, but this is too expensive for me for the hobby use. Thanks already to everyone for the tips and advice !! mfg

  • Axial game of the force wave on a force machine. Request for experience/opinions

Hello together, recently I own an older Gorghi force machine. I have found that the force wave has light (feelable) axial game. Is such a problem or the wave must have any game = 0. How does this look on your machines. I look forward to your suggestions and opinions. Thank you and greeting

  • Set track yourself

Hello Together I do not want to trigger a fundamental discussion about sense or nonsense here and I always have my track set professionally, but I have come to a laser adjustment tool and do not understand how it works. In doing so, a laser is sent from one front wheel to the other and reflected back on a scale via a mirror parallel to the wheel. Thus, I can check how many angular seconds both wheels have to each other (Vo But how do you find out, and that’s where my understanding of how the relation to the vehicle is? So how do you make sure that the wheels are 90* to the vehicle when setting e.g. 0*?

  • Screwdriver basic equipment

Greetings together, I have decided to go under the car screwdrivers. First of all just change smaller things like tires, exchange oil/petrol filters, exchange lights and similar things. My knowledge source here is mainly the forum, “So wirds wirds” books and video tutorials. As an industrial mechanic I am not quite poorly positioned as an industrial mechanic, I would say a certain basis is present. Only tools are missing, until now I have a toolbox with the following contents: Screwdrivers of all kinds bit sets all possible attachments metal saw pliers file hammer Inbus and Torx set small 3/8″ ratchet box up to 14mm rust releaser and brake cleaner wire brush steel/brass plastercloths and gloves electric small tools (insulation tape, luster clamps, cable shoes) What else could I need? I thought of: shunting car lifter (only the small one that was present at the car) 1/2 inch ratchet box up to 32? mm torque wrench? From-to? Loc tite Copper paste Contact spray Refractometer A wrench set, from 6-32? mm Such plastic “spray” to solve cladding parts in the interior? A nice Tuesday evening wishes you emyr

  • Lawn mower purchase advice

Hello. Since there are many screwdrivers here, I hope for experience with lawnmowers, after all, the main part of the lawnmower is the engine For my mother-in-law we are looking for a new lawnmower for 400m2 lawn in the garden. At the moment the 40-year-old Viking lawnmower is finished, it starts badly, every third time I can press, when it is drunk off, or the rope has tangled up somewhere, as it always does. False air, the gasifier is leaking etc. Actually it is still running, but it is not so unfriendly and is operated by amateurs. However, it does not have a wheel drive, which is now desired. Is the battery technology already so far, or is a burner still the right one here? The area has many trees and hedges, so that you can not start from the optimal running time because of the running time of a battery-mower, since you often have to rank. You should already be able to mow everything. without reloading or a second set of batteries. The question is also whether we take a cheap part from the hardware store and replace it after a few years, if it weakens or annoys, or take a brand mower, there are parts and also dealers who may know each other, in the hardware store this is rather not the case. Maybe you have experiences that you could call me here, manufacturers are good etc. Thank you very much Jack

  • Adapter 1/4 to 1/2 – Falsifies torque?

Hello, I ordered today a torque wrench 1/4 for 10-50nm. Reason is that I want to put on the spark plugs of my motorcycle and just don’t want to go to feel if I can have the certainty for a few euros more. Construction would be: 1/4 torque wrench + adapter 1/4 to 1/2 + Mean extension of 1/2 + nut from 1/2 Now my question: Does an adapter piece in my case 1/4 to 1/2 falsify the torque, since this is the greater weight of 1/2 lengthening ng and has to turn nut along?
