Hey, I’m going to ask you about this round, I’d like to buy a lot of tools to modernize my hobby workshop a little. I’m looking for good socket wrench set, ring ratchets (thought in the first line at Gedore) and bit set made of hard material. With the bitset it’s important that they aren’t “round” at first edge, is there advice on a purchase? Ask for concrete suggestions? Oh so … I’ve looked around a little on the internet and s I’m not quite sure which brand to be – do you think I’m driving well with it http://www.werkzeugkoffer.net/bgs/profi-steckschluessel-satz/, or should I rather buy everything individually. Furthermore, I find the brands like Hazet, Proxxon interesting. Please make a recommendation/warning? I hope, on the experience of the community

Polishing machine for headlamps
Hello, the TÜV thinks that the headlight glasses of my car are too “blind”. Therefore I bought for the sake of simplicity and because there was no finer grinding paper than 1200er in the hardware store a refresher set with small pieces 2000er, 3000er and 5000er, polishing paste and sealer (naja). Since polishing takes some time and effort I thought about buying a used, cheap polishing machine, e.g. King Craft KCA 250, for small money. Jetz I have read here and elsewhere that these “simple” DIY and discounter devices are consistently considered unsuitable for polishing, and would like to ask for the technical reason: Why are these devices consistently so unfit and what technical criteria are they, by which one can recognize the basic suitability (speed, power, or … or … or). Do they at least do something for the “polishing” of headlight glasses? Mick

Value of a threaded cutting set (Company Narex, Whitworth thread)
Hello! I have two complete, 28 pcs. threaded cutting sets, the brand Narex, manufactured in Czechoslovakia. I would like to sell these two, but I don’t know at all what value they have (see picture). They should probably be used among other things for (possibly older) mainly British cars. Can someone tell me what such a threaded cutting set is worth, or to whom I can turn? The Internet has not been helpful so far and also Rolls Royce un d a vintage car workshop could not help me any more. Thank you! 🙂
