  • How to “bump up” car, for example for oil changes

Hello together! What do you use to “bump up” a car evenly a few centimeters, for example, to make an oil change? Unfortunately, neither pit nor stage are available. So far I help myself with a load of bricks – that works, but is relatively time-consuming (are stored in the garage, but you still need a few to drive up). Is sufficient from the result (height should be estimated 8 cm). Advantages: high safety Disadvantages: hoh he effort, relatively sharp corners are not good for tires (I reduce with boards -> even more effort), a few centimetres more height would sometimes not be bad What are there for alternatives? -> ramps – are practical, but fail for the purpose because car stands diagonally -> buy proper jacks and take up classics with underlays – four times put on and bucks should hardly be faster than towing the stones. I’m sure there are better possibilities – maybe I also have a mistake in thinking about the jack history, Johannes

  • HAZET wheel hub loop 4960V-160 spare grinder

with our Hazet wheel side grinder is slowly worn out the grinding body. This can be exchanged and therefore not the whole part for about 80 Euro new. The problem is that I find nowhere new grinding body. Since the last grinding body has lasted 8 years, I would not like to buy a 3 set directly now. Does someone have a tip where to get the grinding wheel individually?

  • Scissor lift 1m, 1.2m or low platform

Hello together First of all, the stage should stand in the carport, so I will only be able to take advantage of a maximum lifting height of 80cm depending on the vehicle. In about 3 years, a garage is planned elsewhere, where I could then use about 1.6m height. Purpose of use: maintenance, tyre change, polishing and various optimization work on my hobby cars. To the selection are scissor platforms with 1m, 1.2m or the Twin Busch 2 columns garage platform with 1.6m stroke. 1mhttps://hebebuehnen-kroemer.de/…nhebebuehne-kroemer-weimar- 3-5t.html 1,2mhttps://hebebuehnen-kroemer.de/…mer-scherenehebuehne-3500kg-x45.html 2 columnshttps://www.twinbusch.de/product_info.php?products_id=335 I am currently stuck at Krömer, because all variants are available and directly at my door, i.e. self-collection. Favor is currently variant 1, because 990mm rail distance and no ramping up when draining. Against the initially favored Twin Busch speaks that I first have to pour a foundation, which may be in my way later. and that the stage has only 225cm width (my widest vehicle has 2m) Make the 20cm height difference of the scissors a big difference? Working properly from below is only possible in Hockposition anyway. How are your experiences? Greeting Dirk

  • Recommendations for easily transportable jacks?

Hello, I’m looking for a reasonable 2T jack to do work on the parking lot like oil change, wheel change etc. My really absolute limit is 200€, which I think is enough for a layman. It’s really important to me that you can just get the jack out of the basement for a short time, i.e. little weight and easy to transport. And he should of course also last a few years. I’m looking forward to your recommendations.

  • Oil change with old Chiron compressor without manual

Hello dear people, we also took over a compressor with us when taking over a workshop, which throws without complaint and powerfully. I would now like to make an oil change. However, I did not have a manual about it, nor did I get an answer on request from the manufacturer Chiron in Tuttlingen. It’s understandable… the part has now already been on the hump for a few years. The previous owner had definitely made a change, but I can’t reach it. o simple. The filling quantity should be indicated on the crankcase if I see it correctly. And I suspect that the oil drain screw is the one that has a red dot on the side of the photo. Maybe someone has a similar compressor or even a chiron, and could help me if that fits. Next problem would be the oil…because unfortunately I don’t have any documents and I don’t find any manuals on compressors with a similar machine, I’m now at a loss what kind of oil ic h. Maybe someone can say something. I would be very grateful to you. Greetings Ben

  • Tyre filler sought

Hi guys, I’m looking for a tire filler for a compressor. However, not the standard equipment. Background: This should also fill tires of bicycles, pedal cars and trailers. Unfortunately, because no air on the tires, push, at the present (such a part to clip – i.e. the standard things), the valves fail in the rim and a pumping up. Incidentally, I found a hand air pump in the hardware store, where the connection is screwed onto the valve. Unfortunately, the L aftpump no indication and the hose does not fit to the tire filler. I can unfortunately only find the standard parts in the net. Does someone happen to know such tire filler and know where to get such a thing? Or does he have another idea? Thanks already in advance. Sven

Moin. I have to paint my car before spring. No complete, but partial painting. Which paint gun can you recommend to me? I am completely new in the area. I have only painted with a can from time to time. In the appendix is an image with the data of my compressor.

  • Balancing machine Schenck ASG Rapid 20

Hello, because of a workshop resolution I came to a balancing machine of the brand Schenck. The part comes from the beginning of the 90s and unfortunately there are no awards for it. Is someone still in possession of an operating manual or can tell me how to grow aluminium rims with it? Steel rims are no problem. The type designation is: Schenck ASG Rapid 20 Thank you in advance
