Hello, I wonder, how an OPTIMALES charging of lead-acid batteries AND AGM should be possible between the often wide capacity data of the respective charger (e.g. 14-160Ah)? Is it not generally known that a lead-acid battery with a max. current of 10% of its capacity should be charged, whereas an AGM needs a significantly higher charging tom by the 25-35% of the capacity, in order to be optimally charged or not damaged? charging when the main charge (BULK) ALWAYS with the fixed maximum current is done ? From my point of view, this is always a compromise and does not necessarily extend the battery life of both battery types equally. Man(s) is also maximally confused that one can often unlock a RECOND function IN CONNECTION with AGM. In fact, the mode is intended only for certain lead-acid batteries, which can be charged with a higher voltage of 14,7V… Greetings, Martin

Hello to all car fans I have a question for you, and I want to get a thermal imaging camera for leaks on the car indoors to uncover or repair for electronics and by the way it would still be good if it would reveal leaky thermal insulation for the house. I currently have the Topdon TC0005 as a favorite in my head or is there something better in the price range around the approx. 400Euro? I would also need to be interested in such a device also absolutely a laser pointer or do you have any advantages where you absolutely need it? The Topdon TC0005 now has no laser pointer where I look at as a favorite or should I look at one of Hazet a device or other, would also be good if you would also find broken bearings with it. Good morning dear colleagues I am not sure if I am right here with my question. But it actually concerns in the broadest sense tool, but measuring tool. I want to permanently measure my resting current in Golf 4. The measuring instrument should have a Bluetooth connection. Of course, it is only clamped in the standing vehicle – the vehicle is not constantly needed. I have a long-standing problem. My resting current is imme r several weeks or at least a few days stable and however suddenly rises strongly without apparent reason. A voltage meter is already installed, which I query every day by Bluetooth. This morning e.g. the voltage was about 11.5 volts, yesterday morning at about 12.95 volts. So the high current is back. I go to the car and measure the rest current without interruption – however not a plier, but with a multimeter. Mostly the rest current is still correspondingly high ( Range 400 – 650 mA), sometimes it sinks either by unlocking the door or has dropped back to the normal level some time before. My question: Does any of you have experience with a measuring device that can be connected permanently to a standing vehicle and can be queried by Bluetooth or at least heard of it? Hello, I’m about to move to a new home. I would have the opportunity to get a lift. It’s a 4-silent stage with two “drive lanes” and a center construction, that you can also park motorbikes etc. there. Now it’s the case that I do some little things on the car myself (tire change, oil change, when a sheet metal is loose, etc.) but so far I have done everything with car lifter or in a pit. The stage then serves sowi eso in the first line as another “parking place”. In the topic of lifting platform, of course, the first thing I thought about was the ease of work when changing tyres. However, since the stage is explicitly about driving up, the question arises: Is there a cheap/simple technical way to convert/modify the stage in such a way that you have the wheels floating freely? So like in a car workshop, where 4 arms are attached to the car lifter reception of the car? The function of the stage should be preserved as a “roll-on stand”. In other words, it should be relatively easy to recreate or is there really a hydraulic/pneumatic stamp the easiest way? At least I would have to question what it looks like with the “safety” when you pick up a car on the lifting platform.

Hello together – my first post as new addition 🙂 I am proud new owner of a Mercedes CL 500 year 2007 in absolute original condition, so no built-up Gangsta-Mobil 😉 My “problem”: I drive the vehicle very rarely for time reasons, i.e. at most every 4-8 weeks. This leads to the fact that very often when I want to leave spontaneously the battery is empty and the vehicle does not start anymore. Only yesterday I spoke to a Daimler service specialist again He once again told me that this was quite normal with these vehicles packed with electronics and their dizzyingly high quiet current consumptions – his advice: I should nevertheless get a high-quality maintenance charger. Sounds logical – my problem is only: my vehicles are in a large underground garage system, in which no sockets or private electricity consumers are allowed. So no way to connect a commercially available maintenance charger (e.g. CTEK), not even with a mild extension line through the entire system 😉 Does someone happen to have a similar topic, and a solution for it? I don’t want to constantly expand the heavy-ton battery and charge it in the apartment while the vehicle forgets all the settings again, but think that there would have to be any solution based on any mega capacitors or with e.g. 2-4 other external batteries on a mobile transporter that can then be charged in turn. Hello, I’m still quite new on the subject of compressor. I have a small compressor of Einhell for occasional impact screwing, blowing away dirt etc. which has now been under pressure for 4 weeks and I drained it yesterday down on the tap. Of course, brown/rusty water came out. How often do you have to drain the boiler and how do you maintain it from the inside? You could inject rust protection oil through the tap from time to time.
