  • Mover for tandem axle

    Hello Together, we use a trunk trailer with tandem axle (total weight 2.5 to) for motorcycle transport behind the WoMo. Unfortunately, we have to find that we can no longer rank the thing so easily. As a remedy, we play with the idea of building a moover. Now we ask ourselves whether a motor really needs to be on each wheel, or whether it would be possible to turn the Bugrad so high that the front wheels are in the air, and to build an engine on the rear wheels? t here in the forum someone has ever had to deal with this challenge and could give us good information?   • THP155 overloaded with caravan?

    Hello together, I have been driving a C5 (combi) from 2010 with the THP155 for several years and have now bought a caravan. What I immediately noticed: The car feels quite overwhelmed by this despite the 155hp. The caravan weighs empty 1150kg and with our basic equipment maybe 1350kg. The car was also only moderately loaded with two people and a trunk full of clothes for 4 days, linens, a few supplies etc. When I write that the car is overwhelmed. I mean concretely: – consumption over 16l, when I try to hold 100km/h – 100km/h means full throttle at slight gradients, at slightly stronger gradients switch back to the 5th (and full throttle) – acceleration is virtually not available (starting on the highway in the 3rd with full throttle to reach to the end of a commercial acceleration strip 80-90km/h) Now my question: Is this normal or expected behavior for a petrol engine? I would have the 155ps after all. twas more trusts and asks me if something is wrong with the car. Does anyone have experience with it or maybe even a similar team? Thank you in advance!

  • Start problem with Truma “Trumatic S 3002 P”

    Hello together, on vacation I wanted to start our Truma “Trumatic S 3002 P” on a cool evening … but that didn’t want to go on. We then helped us on the one evening with the fortunately available Ultraheat E-additional heating, which was also sufficient. Now … back home … I went on troubleshooting. What I could find out so far: To be sure that this is not a mass problem of the detonator, I have the front panel with a mass cab This is why I assume at the moment that the spark plug may have “heavy” it. So far, however, I could not find any information or a guide for the exchange (only) of the spark plug. The spark plugs can be purchased individually for under 20,-€ incl. postage ( ). As an alternative it would be possible to replace the complete burner replacement if necessary. Then costs around 60,-€ ( ). If it really should be the spark plug, With the 10 years old heating I still tend to this “extended” solution. So … this first to the current status. Now to my questions, before I “rare up” everything: In the course of the repair I will probably also give the ultraheat a timer, which fan and e-heating should switch on/off together.   • Hymer B – 5 gear problem

    Hello municipality, the old evil. Have a problem with my 5 gear, that means when inserting the 5 gear “scratch” he then goes in and stays inside. Then opened the gear and looked, did not take apart, there was no damage visible. Did also the oil sieve found no abrasion. Well, it seems to me that the pinion and the Syncronring are as good as new were also filled in instead of the 2,75l gear oil already 3 . My guess is that the Syncronring has something but I am now lay. Possibly new rope hoists built in ? The data of the car :Hymer B – Bj.98- Fiat Ducato 2,5 TDI/115 PS- Runs 98 000 km.   • Seat too short!

    Have I seen a used WoMo today! Price something (as always) too high! Condition not as described! And yet a purchaseable WoMo! Unfortunately, for my (not too large) size of 180cm the driver’s seat is too far in front and in the seat length too short! It is about a 12 year old Ducato with non-rotable seats! Behind the driver’s seat is a tube frame to hold the upper seat cushion and the headrests of the first seat! Question: Has someone ever converted this tube frame to be able to put the driver’s seat further to the rear? Think of an expandable frame! The conversion could be made, but then the price is even more high! If I look at the prices of about 12-20 years old WoMos, will it be bad for me anyway!   • Alkoven Water damage…

    Moin, I bought a Fiat Ducato BJ. 90 with Frankia set-up for the week. Unfortunately, I was pretty much pulled over the table. Bzw. also iwo’s fault, because I didn’t see it during the visit. But then I did it clean up and prepare for vacation. Namely, when I took the slatted rust out of the alcove, I noticed that it was slightly white under under it. Then I went to the bottom of the thing. Evil awakening!!! The entire floor of the alcove is molded, the wood on the left side is very strong and that on the right side “only” easy. With pictures. I have not made any experiences with this yet, but I think that I can claim not be quite unsolicited by craftsmanship, I also have the necessary tools (shreinery in the family), so I am thinking of doing it myself, the planned holiday at the end of June is probably flat for that…. Now my question to you, you think it is possible to get that back into the grip again? Do you have tips about it? Do not reach the forum?

  • Towing vehicle with automatic transmission

    We bought our first Wowa this year because we were on the road with a camper a few years ago and we feel very good about it. Our towing vehicle is a Hyundai Sonata with 131 Ps and automatic transmission. Does anyone have experience with an automatic transmission? Should you have the gears selected or switched yourself with Tiptronic? The Wowa has an zGG of 1100Kg . Thanks now for the answers.

  • Warranty / Warranty = a conscious grey zone at HYMER???

    Hello together, it is obvious to me that some camper manufacturers want to leave their customers in a unclear + non-binding grey zone with regard to warranty services!?! When I asked HYMER directly about 10 days ago whether, and to what extent I would receive a factory guarantee on a new 2014 motorhome (on MB-sprinter basis), I got the attached answer. On my then done request, to tell me concretely, whether I would be on the basis of the “only” warranty (which could actually only come from the dealer!) already after the 6th month because of the inversion obligation in case of damage, on the kulance behavior of HYMER, I would now wait now, despite second reminder now more 6 days…!!! It also does not correspond to the fact that the chassis manufacturer Mercedes Benz only offers a 24-month warranty… So, how are your experiences with HYMER’s warranty? How do the manufacturers behave after a year of the refrigerator, the heating, the water supply e.c.t will not work more than a 24-month warranty? So what are the reasons for using the Hyxx warranty?
