  • Preventive sealing..?

Hello, I’m absolutely new in the scene and have a correspondingly stupid question: I’m just about to buy a Frankia Mobil Bj.94. While browsing/informing in various forums is always talking about moisture/water damage etc. This especially bad when the kasko is built on wood basis as it will be with mine. Now I ask the question if you have to wait until the terrible occurs (water damage) or if you don’t just treat the “old boxes” (even if it might look optically beautiful) the “sole break places” accordingly. For example, these tumults glue foil with aluminium coating on/around the roof luke seals or silicone or similar around the window seals….and so on…. Do you hold that for senseful or is the blödsin. If it’s no blöds…. what materials would you recommend and what are these “grind water inserting”. Sorry for my not knowing..

  • Absorber coolant, Lifepo

Hello, I have in the Womo an excellent working fridge with ice compartment from the manufacturer Dometic. It has according to operating instructions at 12 volts an power of 170W (highest level 5). In the gas operation I can easily reach -18 degrees in the ice compartment. At 12 volts it also cools very well. I am now thinking about installing a Lifepo battery with booster and dream of being able to operate the refrigerator at least 2 days over 12 volts self-sufficient. Would that be possible at all? I have no experience with these things and therefore ask here to hear your opinions. Is there anyone who operates its absorber with 12 volts self-sufficient? Many greetings from the Black Forest

  • Battery and electrics

Good morning together. Since the WE are proud owners of a Knaus Südwind BJ ’91. Great venture in which everything is actually inside. My question: I would like to expand existing halogen spots, and build up a reasonable battery. So far a small gel battery (motorad size) is set in a upper cabinet – loose to take out. But this retreat is empty. Where does the battery belong? Seat box/bed box? Which battery is meaningful? Would you like to watch Autark TV etc. as said am beginner of the whole matter and would be very happy about tips.

  • Weight/ KG/ liter/ m3 Camp Gas.

Hello, we have before to drive in winter holidays, now should be clarified in advance of the fuel for the heating. And for me not mathematicians insurmountable questions open. I buy/change my gas bottle with 11 kg gas content for approx. 16,49.- Euro. Now some campsites also offer a gas supply directly at the pitch. Here is the offer at 8,50.-Euro per m3. Now I want to calculate what is cheaper and by how much? 1 KG camping gas in the bottle is how much m3, or 1 m3 parking gas is how much KG? Can you make me know? Thanks UNO

  • 100th admission Hobby 440 SFE 1998

Hello Community , I have a question for the 100 he registration of my caravan. I want to get TÜV next year and get a 100er report only which conditions I need for it!? I know so far only that my tires are not allowed to be older than 6 years. But what else do I need !? Shock absorbers !? Does my caravan !? And what else !? Do you happen to know this or do you have an idea where I get a list of what I still have to do!?

  • Truma Ultraheat Tuning / Optimization

Moinmoin! The ultraheat is an ingenious accessory. However, I found a small disadvantage worthy of improvement: the ultraheat is thermostatically controlled over the internal temperature. The switching times from the shutdown due to warm enough and the reconnection are relatively long in moderate cold. The ventilation works independently of the ultraheat. Now it is the case that the air hoses are naturally laid through the coldest corners of the trailer. (outside walls at the bottom) During the heating breaks is unnecessarily distributed by the passing ventilation a lot of cold air in the car. After some pondering and the good basic idea of Mr. NoGolf I have configured the cable tree to be seen in the picture. A temperature switch, switching threshold 40/25 °C, and a switch to finish the “automatic” in case of an emergency, parallel to it. The whole thing is switched into the connection of the engine. Now it is so that I switch the fan on and on to the desired position. The heater heats first and at a housing temperature of 40 °C. The fan is switched off staticly. And now the temperature switch from 25 °C. And then the temperature switch is still cool!

  • Small trailer for rumbling – no caravan

Sorry, maybe it’s wrong here, but I can’t find a more suitable forum: We have to break down a large house and renovate it and then move in some time and then constantly care for the garden… So I want to buy a cheap trailer with which I can drive to the garbage dump or get a bag of cement from the hardware store etc. It would be pulled by a VW Bus T3 or an Omega 6 cylinder. It should be extremely cheap in the purchase and in the follow-up costs (so best unbraked?) and so handy that I can “place it” in front of my head at least with the help of a simple bottle train in the garage. What are the names of such trailers? What should I look for? What should I pay attention to? Thank you for tips to a clingy but so far hangless traffic participant….
