  • Do I have rights to the full report 03.01.17

Hello, I bought the WW Wilk Safari 410 from Privat on 13.03.17 with full report from 03.01.2017, paid online, the seller sends the full report, so I approved the WW, got new papers, even for 100 km/h approved and picked up. I thought positive full report, there can be nothing wrong. Push cake: The first, I did not get stuck with the seller from the property, brakes, I cut loosely, at the next brake (up brake) again firmly, again loosely cut, after 20 km again fixed, so I came about 100 km to home. Now I notice further: the factory side footrests did not check (back left hangs down and also does not go up). The ground completely decayed. This does not happen in two months! In the report not listed: the factory-installed gas system was not tested. The 220V and 12V network supply did not check (not even a fuse or fuse machine in the trailer).

  • TIP: Waste water pipeline frozen? Remedy!

Hello, this week, despite constant heating, the sewage line in the trailer was frozen. A parallel mix of 2 solutions was helpful. Which of these was the decisive component?? I don’t know … but it worked. 1.) A good load of salt dissolved in warm water in the drain 2.) Two bit cleaner tabs shredded afterwards, so that “movement” comes into the matter The bit cleaner tabs I always have in the trailer for tank cleaning anyway. all of a case just try it out. Can’t hurt at least nothing GreetingNoGolf

  • Refrigerator – lack of cooling capacity …. it is to milk mice

Hello together, maybe someone has a tip for me. My Dometic absorber fridge doesn’t really like to cool properly (whether gas or 230v) I’m just at the CP, outside temperature about 26 degrees, refrigerator temperature 12 degrees (frost compartment -14). Had fir run the time last weeks, at 10 degrees outside temperature it came to 2 degrees and frost compartment -20 degrees. I tried to convince the cooler even last week for better cooling : air guide plate installed, fan installed, the Kühli also turned upside down… unfortunately the cooling performance is still mau. Have also in the freezer the cooling plate outside, lead paste still looks good. Am now with my Latin at the end…. Gat someone else a tip? Greetings Al

  • Autark preparation

In the evening, if necessary I order a new ADRIA , now I think about the point of Autark preparation. This option costs 299 EUR extra. What do you think, is it worth it? Can you retrofit something like this to be autark for a day? For a mover there are certainly other solutions? Greetings, MK

  • Automated manual transmission Ducato 3.0 RV

Hello, has anyone had any experience with the automated manual transmission at Fiat Ducato 3.0? We’ve had a new RV for 4 weeks with a total weight of 5.3 t and probably a clutch damage. If there was a slight rise (starting on the wedges) the clutch slipped through with strong smoke. The Fiat workshop believes that the Ducato is not suitable for this weight. Has anyone experienced something similar? We are very desperate, because the car just has a About 1200 km! Thank you for your answer.

  • Purchase of Knaus SKY TI with (repaired) water damage

We have seen at a dealer a Knaus Sky TI 650 MEG partially integrated from Bjh.12. For well found, well equipped and a 100% verifiable history, each workshop stay, service, tank filling, driving distance etc. is recorded with documents. 71 tkm and new engine at 6600 km from Fiat. So about 65000 tkm from the engine. The car is in the customer order for sale. After inspection of the dealer the sale was stopped. Because the car has at the front in front of the large roof window a Water damage. A well-known problem with the models. The construction method was changed only in 2016 by Knaus. In WWW there are many reports about it. Costs according to dealer 5500 to 6500 Euro and 3 days working time. The previous owner takes over the full costs. The entire front roof incl. interior fittings in the area is renewed. Was only skeptical if I should buy, but we get comparatively not equivalent vehicles, which have proven the damage fixed for the price. Moreover, it will be bought because the owners cannot anymore for health reasons. I hope if the parts are delivered, it can be allowed by the end of the week.

  • Change campers to full-year tires?

Good evening together, bought my first own camper on a box wagon base and pick it up next week. It has become a carado. I suppose it has mounted tires with M+S but without snowflakes (probably Michelin Agilis Camping). How do you manage this when you are on the road at times when it could still be smooth e.g. in March / at Easter, your destination is rather in the warm south but it could snow on the way? Do you leave your summer tires for such Situations on it or have you changed to all-year tyres? I think about changing the vehicle to all-year tyres right after the transfer home. But the high costs scare me off. On the classified advertising portals you can already see numerous advertisements for non-winterable new-quality tyres from newly bought campers who have all done the same after the transfer. Unfortunately, the tyres then only go away to a maximum of 1/3 of the new price. The camper has only a roof for the kids. That’s why it is not suitable for winter anyway. But to go to Andalucia in the winter holidays I can also imagine. Greetings Chris

  • Why 4 sleeping places but only 2 seats in motorhome (James Cook, Bremen Transporter)?

Hello, only two seats are registered in the Mercedes 207D car registration from 1979 (T1, Bremer). Why? The camper (James Cook, i.e. ex factory) has 4 sleeping places – should the other two passengers run next to it? At that time there was no belt obligation at the back, why are not at least 4 seats registered? Greeting Stefan

  • Truma Heating Trumatic S3000P doesn’t want to…

Hello forum, after we have always been camping with our Ami Van in the last years, we have now bought a small used WW. It also works so far to the Truma, which makes some teasing. I got it to run 2 weeks ago while testing after a longer try and was actually of the opinion to make this again. I tried it again yesterday but it was nothing to do. It is a Caravelair WW and the heater is a Trumatic S3000P, which was produced only for the French and English market until 2000. It has a piezo ignition by hand , which also works , but it is unfortunately no ignition process of the gas to achieve , or is no gas there to ignite . The gas taps are on , the stove and the cooli work fine . How can one bring such a heater back to front man , disassemble , clean and what better should be left . By the way , gas testing passed the WW 3 weeks ago . Thanks … !
