Friends of stable cohesion. How do I get on such a topic? Quite simply, I want to be on the road with WoWa a lot. If necessary over stock and stone and this not only at the holiday time, but as often as possible. On big holidays I would like to finally go to Scandinavia and if it is too cold there, also across again to Spain. Maybe good that I have never sat during the ride in my home and the possible bends and sounds of my furniture I’ve been able to find out nothing in my Eifelland so far and maybe he’s still doing it … 100,000 km … but that’s all right, I can hardly imagine. On the other hand, there are constructions and materials today – think about Hymer with these (xy, at least no styrofoam) foam walls with the elegant edge joints, where I guess from hingucking, a higher stability, or even robustness. Gi is there any official or justified experience about stability or robustness in the different brands or models or sagor special versions? Greetings, cruise control

Which Womo suits me?
Hello, I want to cancel my lease and move into a camper, but the search is quite difficult, since some requirements should already be met. Unfortunately, I have no real plan of cars and certainly not of campers, which is why I could use your help really well. The following conditions should be met: – My budget is at a maximum of 9,000 euros, but the less the better… – Taxes and insurance should also not be a – Since I live in an environmental zone, I need a motorhome that can get the green environmental badge. – Weight up to 3.5t Hm, that is already the basic requirements that I have come up with up to now, however, these seem to limit my possibilities enormously. Maybe you have further tips on what people should pay attention to when buying a camper that serves as a home. Hope you can recommend me a few models… Night and many thanks already, daitro

LT31-Karmann DW Motorhome Built 1992 – no pollutant class possible – now worthless?
Hello everyone, for my camper Karmann DistanceWide on VW LT 31 Bj. 1992 there is no pollutant filter and will probably never exist, which is why I can not get any of the now demanded pollutant classes or corresponding pollutant badges in more and more cities. – Therefore, after the annual tax was set retroactively for two years (!) times from 150 to 600 euros, I now have to worry, soon with the vehicle, which is still in a great condition This is why the resale value (a year ago still at about 8 thousand euros) tends to be near zero. – Thank you, Father State for this expropriation! – Sure, I am also in favour of “stinkers”, who travel hundreds of thousands of kilometers a year, also soon get clean or come from the road. – But it is necessary, leisure caravans, with their lovingly cared for little “stinker” every year create max. 10 thousand kilometers. , if it really comes up high, to put such pressure under such pressure? Wouldn’t a reasonable special regulation be possible and useful? – In short, my question: Does anyone still know a solution with which I could reasonably get out of trouble? I could certainly drive my camper with further good care for another 15 years, if they would allow me and above all can’t afford a new vehicle! – Feel right driven out of the country by this new regulation and think strongly of emigration! Greetings, EE

Steel rims break on welds (WOWA)
Hello together, I wanted to get rid of my frustration and ask if anyone has it before. Last year in September I changed to HU not only the tyres but complete bikes, after that we hardly drove anymore. This year we were at the North Cape and had on the way to north Norway on a bad road stop. When we wanted to continue driving a friendly caravan driver came up to us and asked: “You already know that you have a record”? of course we haven’t yet, but at the Caravan left was Platt. So no problem, spare wheel on it and on. At the weekend arrived on the North Cape Island, we found a tyre service that promised us the reperforation to Monday. Really very nice and linguistic efforts. On Monday then the surprise, the tire was OK and according to service in a top condition. The rim is air-permeable on the welds that connect the rim star with the rim bed. So no repair. So we continue and over Ostschweden direction south. After one night stop in a parking lot then the surprise, Caravan on the right is Platt. SCHE….!!! We had unfortunately only a spare wheel with us. Locker 50km to the next bigger place, but a strawberry seller who just built a stand on the parking lot had the tip. A directions of about 6km, there was a tire service. So we both broken wheels into the tractor, disconnected and gone. The man from the service had indeed all employees We went to a small shop to buy groceries. Back at the service, the wheels were rolled out of the hall, two new rims had been purchased and assembled. Super service and that at the load and in the time. Back to the caravan, wheels under and on it went. During this holiday nothing had happened anymore, so as material defects of the rims were ticked and good. Now we were e a week in the Sauerland, (120km a track) and when I crank up the columns hit me the blow, caravan left flat. Reserve wheel on it and home. At home air on the tires and the water hose on it. Shock, the air comes from the rim. Although the rims come from two different countries, the same problem. Has anyone experienced similar things before? Greeting Manfred

Complete with Basler-Securitas, only Bluff ??
Unfortunately, I missed a flower pot during shunting on a backyard, which was fixed to a 50 cm angle iron at the height of the upper edge of the entry door of my motorhome LMC VAN 654 Basic TI. Through the contact sideways with this angle iron, three 6mm deep impressions were created on a length of 10 cm including scratches from the flower pot, which go over the entire width of the motorhome from entry door to inten in upper thirds incl. the window. The expert claims that this is a “slight damage” which could be caused by the damage caused to my insurance company, the BASLER-SECURITAS, and that a expert who is far from my residence has been instructed to determine the amount of damage. Although an expert from my home region has been inspected and described exactly to the expert in charge (i.e. 6mm deep punctures as well as scratches over the door and back top part of the side) the expert claims that it is a “light damage”. This is a four-month-old motorhome and the corresponding dealers and half-timbered workshops all explain to me in accordance with an expert of the DEKRA that for a restoration the side part has to be replaced. My insurance now requires me to have a second report at my own expense, before one then possibly initiates an expert procedure, in which the experts exchange their arguments and In my opinion, such a costly damage investigation is unreasonable and I ask all of you to give me advice on how to deal with the damage. Of course, there is no doubt that I will no longer use the insurance in the future. !

Search residential with AHK 2t and some more…
Hello, we want to buy a camper in the family, after 20 years WW. But it has to meet some conditions. Toggle load of min. 2 tons for a car transport to the mobility on site. It should have an alcove and if possible a second fixed bed. Is there still mobile, which have a seating group with space for 6 people? Although this rarely happens, but if it is cold or rains you could then sit in. The whole should be from BJ 95 d max. 17.500 €. Are there special experience values of you? Under 3.5 tons would be optimal, because of the partly available restrictions for trailer operation over 3.5 tons. Thank you and greeting Patrick

Small caravan or pick-up
Hello together. In the area I am a beginner and since I want to change soon but professionally I need your help in the decision making because you have more experience. The following requirements should be met: The number of persons and the space would be predominantly for 1 Peson and it should be used as a sleeping place for 2-3 days a week. Furthermore I would need a small cooking unit for smaller meals as well as a small fridge. A toilet so a shower is not needed because I can use it on work. A heater would also be important. Occasionally I would like to use the team also in winter for the ski holiday so that a camper is already out of line because I do not want to do without on four-wheel drive. I have to get a new car anyway and ask myself now what would be more meaningful for my needs. 1. A pick-up with housing structure or 2. A normal car and in addition a small living car In particular, I have to change a pick-up to a truck tax and maintain two vehicles in the normal car (PKW+WoWa). I am also open about the space available via reports and suggestions. PS: As a note. I own driving licence class B and the bugdet should be around 10,000 euros. Thanks already and found in the forum no topic of the kind.

Motorhome purchase, but what and where
Hello, we would like to buy ( 4 pers.) a camper. If possible, without having to rebuild in the evening so a fixed bed + alcove. Since the children want to sleep in the alcove also no bunk bed. The WoMo should not be older than 8-9 years, have not yet 80000 km and the usual standard equipment Since we then sell one of our two cars, it should be everyday suitable. Now the questions: – Which driving station is to be recommended with which engine? – Are there manufacturers(Au) fbau) which you can not recommend ? – What price do we have to expect ? – Should we buy from the dealer or private ? – What costs arise except the purchase and how high are they ? We would be happy if many camper fans answer, it does not have to be the same to all questions. :-)) MfG Stling

WoWa woppt/hoppelt
Hallihallo, finally, we have been the proud owner of a WoWas for a week. It’s a hobby 400 from 1979, so fresh in dew looks still super good and has new TÜV and gas. When driving I find out again and again that he (especially with slight unevennesses) quite wigs behind, and that around his axis (the with the wheels ). It feels as if the dyke is yielding or springing, which is hard to imagine with the material strength and the good condition. Now it is could it be that so far the support load was simply too low and therefore he hopped so much? I heard more than once that the support load should be important for driving stability. Greetings, Oliver
