  • Question on water supply in Wowa

Hello dear community, have a question about the water supply in “Kalt und Warm” . It is like that, have a camping, which however has no water connection, would like to make it too right for with it then to be able to stand with it also sometimes on a camping place! It should be in kitchen “Washbasin”, bath “shower” and bathroom “Handwashbasin” each a tap for WARM and KALTwasser. The plant should run with pump and tank. It does not necessarily need to be autark or as that means, since I with the car anyway does not want to stand in the wilderness 😉 Everything on 12 volts doesn’t have to be, although I have a 12 volt battery 120AH in it for a few lamps. So you could let the pump run over there already……. To the water heating, this should already run over 240volt, because I am not so sure with 12 volts that it gets hot so fast, (are 3 people) that you don’t have to wait long until it is heated up again, that the next one can shower Which facility can you take here, who has already had experience with such a thing and can you run all the pick-up points over a boiler, read because of the pressure in the boiler the special taps must be and there is only one tap to a boiler????? Is that so??? What alternatives are there…Trumatherme, elgena kb3, kb6……… etc. I think there are some experienced campers who have had experience with it on campsites and which I am sure If someone is familiar with something like this or if someone has already installed something like this, could you give me a lot of help?? Perhaps with a plan or sketch?? Will not connect anything wrong and try to build everything so cheaply with the best effect………Dear greeting!

  • Cheap tires for ancient caravans as possible?

Hello, I would like to bring a recently purchased caravan over the Tüv and need accordingly new tires. The WW is from 1967 and in the letter it says it is a “King II” of the company Nieper. However, no information about what I can do for rims and mature on it, or anything else. I generally find no information about the trailer on the Internet. I would like to provide the current rims simply with new tires – that’s 145 R 12. However, the quite rusty ones are from outside, since The question is now, what can I do about it, so that it comes over tüv? And what is the most cost-effective solution? The WW weighs only 590kg maximum and will not be drawn faster than 80kmh. I thank you for your advice!

  • Install caravan ranger drive yourself ?

Hello to each other, either I am too stupid for the search function or there is really very little about Mover in it. So: I have an Eriba-Nova 460, year 1995, loaded on 1300 kg, and I am no longer the youngest and most powerful. That’s why the thought of installing a Mover developed nicely slowly. Actually I only need it to get out of the property (light climb, 20 m) and on more complicated parking spaces on vacation. The prices of Truma are happy, Rei If any of you had the Reich Move Control Economy, the mover itself was installed or is not recommended. I would use the battery mobile, so no large installation would be necessary. I would like to thank you in advance for your expert advice. VG California89

  • Caravans over Ebay bought!Problems!

Hall, have bought us a Ww via Ebay, with new TÜV etc.!One day before we wanted to pick him up(night was the day)/must drive 450km) the seller told us that he did not have a letter for it!Well, phone with the registration office, what to do!The seller has to take an oath.Vers.gave that it is his Ww!And we get our letter after about 6 weeks! Ww picked up, purchase contract filled out where we also noted that he reports the letter as “Lossed”!After 300km shortly before home we get a call that the owner of the Ww would stand there and want to have his Ww again! After another 1h Telfonat on a parking lot we learned that our seller got the Ww from a campsite owner (have also received the receipt now) who sold the Ww because the owner did not pay the parking space, and the place looked “like a garbage dump”! The owner with letter wants now the Ww again!! What do our chances look like???Since the Ww exactly d He’s the one we’ve been looking for! Before I get a lawyer’s appointment on Monday, I hope you can help me again! Thanks as always for good infos!!!!! PS Stupid sayings you can save yourself!Have a big neck already!

  • Re-registration of caravans

Moin moin! I have registered my WW behind the garage for about 3 years and would like to allow it again this summer. According to the new rules I only need the simple TÜV and of course the CAP. In this case I am a little puzzled: There are probably new rules because of pressure and so on. I have to upgrade my WW now completely (heating, fridge, light) or still applies so to speak inventory protection – mind you when re-registration. The connection hoses for the gas bottles will be ic h probably with caution to renew. oh yes, will the TÜV also be tested with the 100er approval? Will it mean: I have to renew my tyres, but would I rather do after TÜV first (if it is not worth it…). Do they scratch off the 100er badge for me? Thank you, Mike

  • Water entry after two days of continuous rain in the wet cell!

Hello, I’m standing in front of a mystery! Yesterday my camper (Chausson Welcome4 – Fiat Ducato 2.8 – BJ 2002) had fetched from the workshop (TÜV – check). When I then opened the door to the wet cell – stood in the shower tray about 5 cm water!!!! I immediately examined the complete camper, otherwise only a touch of moisture had penetrated. The camper stood two days at the workshop outside and it had permanent rain and also a relatively strong wind. question at the workshop if he (is a good friend of mine) possibly opened the roof window – he denied this and said that maybe the strong wind raised the roof eye a little and then rained it in. Did immediately inspect the roof eye, if there is a defect (riss). But could not notice anything. I did not notice anything like this during my camping holidays. Did you perhaps have an explanation how this amount of water could enter? nt you give me a few tips or can it be that really with a very strong wind the roof eye (brand Fiamma) is raised slightly and then it rains in? With the two other roof eyes (other fabric) no water entry is detectable! For your help I would be very grateful – stand before a mystery!?

  • U-turn with trailer?

Hello guys, I borrowed a trailer this weekend and unfortunately at a U-turn (Lenkrad from the A4 Avant to the left fully beaten) I drilled the solidifier of the support wheel into the bumper. Now my question: Is that so with every caravan? Would I have had to reckon with it? How are your experiences? Don’t misunderstand, it’s only about driving forward and NOT about driving backwards! Thanks and Greeting Rainer

  • My search for WoWa tyres and the ADAC test

For the first time I am facing the task of getting new tyres for my caravan. In appearance stands for my Knaus Eifelland 170/70R14 84L. 1) I find “L” (500kg) a little scarce for a caravan that can weigh 1000kg. I would then have to load the box exactly symmetrically. I have read myself through the corresponding threads using the search function. 2) Is it right that I can mount “C” tyres? 3) I doubt, however, that C tyres are the right thing. I guess I’m looking for a cheap but not cheap car tire, a higher load index will be easy to find. Now for the ADAC test, which I’ve read as an introduction to the topic.https://www.adac.de/…/ I don’t know, but I think this test is complete nonsense. Noname-Billigriffe, because brand manufacturers don’t have any e see significant demand? I doubt that strongly. The results are called without the tyre specifications and the tyres are no longer available. Side guide forces are important, but car tyres should not be taken because of the higher side guide forces? Strange.

  • What good have you done to your caravan/van today?

Moinsen, inspired by a thread in the Volvo V70 II forum here at MT, came up with the idea to start something like this. This is about remodeling, renovations or whatever was changed, in and around our housing cans. However, concrete questions about technical problems should still be put in our own threads. Thanks! I will also start at the same time. The extensive elimination of two water damage and changes/additions at the Ele ktrik I described in my blog (Link s. Signatur). The latest project was to give the caravan a new outfit. For a first impression I linked my video here. Part II will follow soon. I’m looking forward to many posts…

  • Knaus Tourer Van 500 MQ

Hello, I own a camper Knaus Tourer Van 500 MQ and have a question, the Womo has a ladder and I don’t know where to put it, maybe someone has an idea?
