Hello, since I don’t know about caravans, I hope you can help me. Today we looked at a caravan that dates back to 2003, from the company Dethleffs 560 SK. This caravan corresponds to our ideas. The caravan is in a very good condition. Here my question: When I looked at the WoWa, I noticed at the front, on the right, that the side wall about 0.5 to 1 cm from its origin, opposite the left side The owner gave me the answer that this is just like that. In the previous where where would you have had that too. Is this normal ???? Since I have no idea, I would be happy if one of you could write me something about it. mfg Armin

I’m new…
Moin Moin… I would like to buy a caravan. As a towing vehicle I have a Mercedes C180 (122hp petrol/gas). I recently installed four new gas-pressure dampers. It may pull 1575 kg. It has an empty weight of 1400kg. I have a used FENDT diamond LS in my sights. It should cost about 3000 EUR. The car is well-kept and dry. Length over everything = 7m, zgG = 1300kg. The WW has an anti-slinger coupling and already had a 1 00km/h Approval, meanwhile the tyres are older than six years and would have to be new. What does such a caravan weigh empty? How much is the extra consumption? The insurance costs at the HUK24 only 11.60 a year. What are the taxes and what are they calculated for? By weight? Is it even useful to pull such a large car behind my small Benz or should I look for something smaller?

Tabbert insolvency???
Hello, an acquaintance just came back from the Caravan fair in Düsseldorf and reported that a dealer at Tabbert had recommended him to order his new family caravan better at the competition (brush, TEC or Knaus) if he would like these models as well, since Tabbert would be close to insolvency…????The dealers would have outstanding commissions and Tabbert could no longer compensate them….supposedly, one would have better WW at another manufacturer to buy, because of the winching power ect….me it all seems quite strange. Which dealer please stands at Tabbert and says potential buyers: “go to the competition” ???? We actually had to order a Tabbert 540DM in the next weeks…..Does anyone have any more detailed information? Even if Tabbert should be insolvent I should buy from the dealer, who has to stand for warranty and wining power then …or??? greets EMMA MR

Who has tips for TV reception with Sat-Schüssel?!?
Hello dear ones!!!! As already mentioned we are new campers and set up our Wowa. Now we arrived at the topic “TV” and we are not sure with which we should receive the program. So a satellite cable has already moved the previous owner from the “television corner” to the dike. Now we want to buy a satellite shot, but do not know exactly which; normal 60 cm with tripod or 38 cm camping bowl in the suitcase. What experiences did íhr make? offer-shot? Isn’t there a quick or bad reception because of the small diameter?

Problems with caravans
Hello, I bought a used caravan today and was also at the TÜV. Defects: the lights don’t go on the left and brakes only have about 40% braking power I doubt if all the lamps on the left side are over with the light. Does anyone have an idea where the error is likely to be? The right lights work. Brakes: Does anyone have any idea what they will cost me to repair? Thanks, Jürgen

No load on new caravan !
Hello, I bought a new caravan from Niewiadow. When I wanted to attach it to the dealer, it almost tipped me to the rear when lifting. The WW has at the moment no gas bottles installed in the front. At home I removed the spare wheel which is located at the back of the floor and then measured the support load which should be at least 25 KG. I still have as good as no support load ! My old Fendt always had a support load of 40 to 50 KG in empty condition. the new WW normal? The new WW has a bicycle carrier in the back.As it now looks, it is impossible to load the rear with 2 bikes. Do you have any advice?

Changes, modifications at WoWa
Dear WoWa interior designer, I don’t think it’s just me! Now you’re standing in his good piece and is inspired and determined in the thought of conjuring an almost best piece out of his good piece by creative addition. Did you come up with something about such things, or did you put something into action? I have now been able to do something with my interior lighting. Above my round seat group was/is a lamp positioned brand emergency lighting. A 40 watt funzel with a he glass cover develops a lighting arm, as if one were in the heating cellar. In general these lighting sources are similar porous. I then went and placed under the hanging cabinets of the RSG first wooden panels and behind it installed fluorescent lamps which are very small and very light. Light power and light color I had looked away from the Dethleffs (Premium model). Long speech short sense; it was a big fuzzy egg and search but, the effort has I now have a really fantastic and impact-free lighting in a very pleasant light color on my RSG. What good things did you do? Greeting, cruise control

Fire protection measures at caravanning
Dear Antipyromans. The camping life could be so beautiful if it doesn’t burn all the time …. no, wrong started. So, because it was so nicely cheap and because before read something in a caravanning magazine about it, bought two battery-powered smoke detectors. Everything unklompied because, so to speak, `self-sufficient ́ in the function by battery operation, easy to install, does not look unreasonable, etc., … Only, where do you put the things best???? At a central Pun kt (middle ceiling) would not only not be wrong, but perhaps the simplest and best. But how about one in the wardrobe, because there is the thing about central over flame of heating? Or one in the immediate vicinity of the (forced) ventilation grid of the door, because that is a popular point to the narcotic gas intakes of southern caravan thieves, although I do not know whether the gas is reported by the smoke money? Does anyone know about it?! Greeting, cruiser

Spotted Light OSRAM H7 LED Retrofit + Headlight Adjustment
Yesterday was the big day, we picked up our new camper. The delivery took much longer than thought, among other things because we were told unexpectedly many details (the dealer really took a lot of time), but also because there were some minor defects, which almost all were fixed directly – such a motorhome construction seems to be largely hand-made. Therefore we drove back only around 20:00 clock, so in the dark and the original H7 double headlights of the Fiat D ucato (type E24 6266) really give off a cloudy light. Therefore, I installed the OSRAM H7 LED bulbs for dipped-beam and main-beam light just last night: https://www.osram.de/ecat/NIGHT%20BREAKER%20H7 LED%20lamps%20(stra%C3%9Fenapproved)-Car lighting-Vehicle lighting/en/GPS01_3401765 The installation is really easy, the headlights of the Ducato are fixed with only 2 screws and you don’t have to build away any fairing parts, bumpers, grilles or the like in order to expand them. At 22:00 I did a test drive. First the good news: the light is much whiter and brighter, and shines noticeably further. The bad news is, it is unfortunately also much more stained. Does someone have these LEDs installed in their Ducato? Is this also flaky with you? In addition: Which adjustment screws can be used to adjust the headlights of the Ducato? VG, Markus
