  • How do you load your wow?

Hi I was the first time with WoWa on summer vacation. My wife packed the WoWa, it was from the awning over the inflatable and the drinks to the commercial water everything in the car in it. He weighed my caravan scale 1500 kg including the weight of the support, so he was fully packed, more was no longer possible. And?? Well my car was empty, there was no luggage that had to be emptied in the car. So I drove with a fully packed trailer behind an empty car. Since my car was not The hardest thing is, it just fulfilled the condition for Temp 100, I ask. Is that also so with you, or first you grab the car to the limit, so that the car has a good mass base opposite the WoWa.

  • Moving caravans? Megane 1 Phase 2 BA 1.6 16V

Good afternoon, I plan to make a trip soon. Data about the caravan Manufacturer: Tabbert Empty weight: 750kg Total permissible weight: 1000kg Rechargeable brake sling couplingData about the car Year of construction: 1999 Drive type: petrol engine, front wheel drive Power: 79 kW / 107 hp Maximum speed: 195 km/h Capacity: 1598 ccm Pollutant class: Euro 3 and D4 Seats: 5 Empty weight: 1160 kg Total weight: 1600 kg Do not have a driver’s license for trailers. I think that I can’t get over 3.5T with the car and the car has to have a higher curb weight than the caravan has a total weight. In addition, there has to be a brake, otherwise you can’t pull that much. Available curb weight car: 1160kg > alu. total weight: 1000kg meets refueling brake necessary = refueling brake available fulfilled From my assessment, it would have to be possible to pull the trailer! there is an official letter where you can read it. Google but somehow I have not found a binding letter from official place! Thank you for your efforts!

  • Solar cell

Hello together, so I bought this Hehn 580 WoMo and I still have a solar cell (50W) with loader controller. I had already installed the solar cell on my old WoMo Ford Transit Bj.82, but had to separate the system from the battery before the start by means of a switch. Does anyone have experience in how to connect the system so that no electricity is drawn from the solar installation when starting.? Greeting from the Bergstrasse nughatt

  • Driving (gast) safety for older campers

We (small patchwork family with two children, 6 and 7) are currently looking for an affordable (<13000 Euro) camper for entry. Due to our children we have recently noticed with view of a Knaus 630 (EZ.92) that models up to about EZ.95 are almost never equipped with three-point belts for the passengers on the rear rows!?? What we need is a vehicle with - NOTES at least two THREE-PUNKTGURTEN - complete wet cell/kitchen, Truma-Hzg. - FE STEM rear bed (best with an outer storage compartment for table/chairs, etc.) - Alcoves for the children - middle seat group, which you don't have to constantly remodel - as sufficient as possible 95hp - besides the other rather minor gimmicks, such as awning, duomatic or satellite/TV and 4-wheel carrier... the following would be interesting for us now (as unfortunately we can't buy a new vehicle): ?? - Which rare model variants/manufacturers offer this and are recommended in this respect - What solutions have other families found that (up to year 95, for example) did not want to be satisfied with two-point belts? For example, retrofit solutions? ?? An admission of six seats for driving seemed surprisingly early despite missing / insufficient safety by belts to be no problem. We cannot reconcile this with our responsibility and now seem to be looking for the needle in the haystack. Who has to offer the appropriate also like to do by PM - we are grateful for every tip and every offer :-) Best regards Kirchner

  • Winter tires on the trailer??

Hello our caravan just ready for winter camping! I am unsure if you should upgrade the caravan to winter tires. I heard some, which say is not necessary, because it only rolls behind. Towing vehicle with winter tires and snow chains is absolutely sufficient. A winter WoWa driver has even made extra tests on ice and snow times with summer tires and then with winter tires and has found no difference. A truck driver told me is unnecessary he drives on its 40 tonner only on the drive axle with winter tyres. More is not prescribed by the legislator since 1.05.06. What do you mean?? I actually wanted to buy winter tyres but in the original size 205/70 R14 there are no winter tyres and on 185 or 195/70 R14 I actually don’t want to drive because I think that the driving behavior will definitely become more spongey?! Or insecure greetings PP

  • Tire question- which tire should I take

Hello people, since I did not find what I was looking for with the Sufu, I ask. I would like to build on my hobby 560 Kmfe new tires and aluminium wheels. WW has a 100km/h approval. The aluminiums are already fixed, are bought at caravanreifen_de and have a load capacity of 950kg. Now to the tires, it should become 185 R14C 100/102 8PR. But only which or which tire is in your opinion the best???

  • Ducato Motorhome 2008-2015 used buy – What do I pay attention to?

Hello together. I would like to buy a used RV in the 5T+ class and not infrequently these are based on a Fiat Ducato chassis. Therefore I would like to deal a little closer with the Italian. I am not from the subject, but from the sort “What I can do myself I like to do”. So brakes, oil changes I basically do myself and timing belts have changed already. So I have fundamentally something technically savvy. mobile is basically not cheap and costs a lot of money, so I would like to know what I should pay attention to with the Ducato campers in the category. What are frequent problems that one should face, or topics that one should know? Probably I will end up somewhere in the year of construction between 2008 and 2015. What I have already researched I would like to have the 3.0L engine with 158 or 177 hp. Ideal would be control chain. I have read s Is this just a switch-gear unit or an automatic machine? And can you limit that to certain years of construction? Somewhere, too, there was a problem with the electrical system. Does someone know more about it and what kind of electrical system is meant? The motor electrics? What are your experiences or what do you know about this model? I would be very pleased about information about the Ducato substructure. With such a purchase price sum I would also be in Kau f take the vehicle to a workshop or test bench to have the worst thing checked. I have never done that before, how are your experiences there? Where do you go there what can they check and what is reasonable for the seller in the context of a pre-purchase? I thank you in advance, many greetings, Oliver

  • Heating in the RV

We went south this winter at minus degrees. Then at 5 o’clock in the morning the gas heating started at 7 o’clock to fill up the water, frost monitor from the thermal bath can be closed. Water at the sink worked, but in the bathroom and toilet nothing ran. It is probably somewhere in the area of the toilet container a little frozen. However, as always before the winter had emptied everything. If we had driven a day later, at plus degrees, it would probably not have been Luckily, everything is still tight and works again. Now, my question is, who and how do you cheer your mobile in winter so that something like this doesn’t happen?
