  • Load/pull caravans ?

Hey, don’t know if there’s already a thread here, I found nothing or didn’t look for richitg. Anyway, I would be interested in whether you’re loading the car too? I loaded everything nicely and got everything into the WOWA, the support load is also OK. So my car would be empty. Is this OK for a TOUR or you better load the car to the maximum and leave the WOWA empty? Thanks for your experiences…

  • Bürstner, glass cover gas cookers

Moin, today out of carelessness have destroyed the glass cover of my 3-burner stove in the WoMo Büstner T610. Hinges and angle of attack are of course ok. Can I bring new glass to the glazier, and new glass by size?, which glass should I take? The cover has broken into more than a thousand pieces; I would never like to experience again! tryllletroll

  • Astra as tractor

Hello, at the moment we drive a Zafira B 1.9 cdti with 120 hp. But it is now too big for us and we don’t really use the room offer. So we want to buy a Astra J (ST or 5-T). We drive about 15000 km a year, because the diesel is not really worth the extra price (splash factor before). I am currently fixed on the 1.4 turbo with 140 hp, but I have thought that the engine capacity is a little bit little, if we 2-3 times a year our home what do you think? Is the engine sufficient or should we take a diesel. Which vehicle would you recommend? Thanks for the help

  • Womo to 3,5 To

Hello together, I have a Womo with 2,8 To empty mass – and now the question, I have to have such things as a steering card, must now also have TüV every year. The problem certainly already knows, is there there for WoMo,s with a total mass of 3,5 To an exception regulation ? I have the driving license B but this should probably not be like with the B to 7,5 To, or am I there on the wrong steamer ? I look even further in the net – but maybe one already has experience So thank you in advance.

  • Gluing, welding or screws??

Hello guys, I plan to build a roof support for my camper (Mercedes Sprinter – high roof). 6 feet made of galvanized 4-kant tube should provide the basis for 3 traverses. Since the camper is already isolated from the inside and I don’t want to drill so much I wanted to ask what do you think about it if I stick the feet with Sikaflex 260 or similar stuff? Epoxy resin or n glue from Jowat might be an alternative. these super glues are an alternative to welding in terms of durability. Thank you for your answers… LG Carsten

  • Tyre air pressure at WOWA ?

Hello Campergemeinde, I have now taken my (purchased last year) WOWA from the winterquatier and screwed on the wheels. Now my question is, how much air should I blow in there now. It is 185 R 14 tires under a 15 year old LMC 545K with 1400kg total weight, which I also have to take full advantage of. Thanks already and until then, Lars

  • strange problem with the taps

Hello together, I drive an older Wowa from Fendt (1994) and always have a strange phenomenon with my faucets. When I get the good piece from the hibernation, or after a longer service life on vacation all faucets work without problems whether warm or cold (kitchen, bath). So after 2 to 3 days I notice this gradually the time between the famous “click” of the taps and the jump-in of the pump takes longer and longer, so that after 4-5 days usually either d the warm or cold water does not work at all. At the beginning I had still thought the cocks would be defective, because Wowa already older, so that the oldest cock is now 2 and the other about 1 year old. But it can’t actually lie there or ?? Only exchange at the cock 🙂 Does anyone have another idea ?? I exclude the pump, because so far a cock has always worked fully.

  • Repair plastic point welding of the front flap (gas bottle mounting)

Hello, The front flap on the gas bottle mounting consists of two plastic parts in my hobby from 1997 which are connected all around all 30cm with plastic cones and then have been welded with a kind of soldering iron on the inside. Three or four cones have already been broken up at the top. That is, the inside plastic covering claps and does not pull the outer part completely in the closed state. This also allows water to run in. I have now thought about whether I would drill a small 3mm hole next to it (i.e. next to the old cones) and then connect the two parts with blind rivets again. Is this stable enough? I have a known who did the whole thing with special glue or resin, but what has been done again and again by the shocks. How do you do that? mfg Wolfgang

  • Scooter approval on WoMo

Hello everyone together. There is or has been a thread zwegs scooter on WoMo license plate. I have a 125cc scooter (like many of you certainly also) that I have at the back of the WoMo and only use on vacation. It would have to be possible to have this scooter insured via the WoMo license plate. So same license plate. If I drive with the scooter I can not drive with WoMo and vice versa. Taxes do not fall on the 125 it because the cost costs are higher than the I get annoyed every time about this German bureaucratism, where it is far more relaxed in other countries. Has someone ever tried something, or is it pointless. Greetings Rüdiger

  • Winter tyres/all-year tyres Question

Hello dear camper! I have a question about the winter tires at WoMo. We do not want to go skiing with our T4 camper or go to the mountains, even if you can avoid it somehow not to be used in the snow (has no ABS), nevertheless the WoMo should be ready for use in the winter (e.g. the North Sea coast in the NS with dog is very nice). Since the tires of Womos are no longer the best (profile top but quite old ( 5 years)) I am at the Üblergen gan This would also have the undeniable advantage that one cannot “sleep” the tyre change. How are your experiences with it? Are they absolute garbage or already usable (that one has to make compromises is already clear – with the “right” car it would not be possible). Should they be usable there is a recommendation here in the forum? Greeting BB
